A man of God, he is not dead, he just changed his address to a heavenly one. When you are born again you do not have a death you just have a change of address...Those who are not saved and have not accepted Christ as a savior, they are the ones who have a death.....Praise God....his anointing was on Carman in the form of music...thousands and thousands of soles was saved through his music.
What a great blessing and gift this wonderful man of God was - I mean IS !!! - for the Body of Christ.
Listening his songs - I can not count times count how many times - God helped me to get through when I felt hopeless, depressed, lonely or under attack, ... or simple just filled me with unspeakable joy or incredible gratitude. But most of all these songs also made me to love and worship our sweet Jesus even more.
Carman, finally you have arrived home and I sure know that in His arms you're now the happiest ever. Though we miss you down here a lot, I'm grateful that at least you've left us these treasures until we can meet again up there (hopefully soon!) and finally we can all worship HIM together.
Thank you Jesus for Carman!! ... & thank you Carman for the songs and for your earthly service! ❤🙌🙏🙌❤

My kids, now ages 42,40, 37, and 33, grew up on Carman- because their mom loved this guy! I still do, and I am jealous that only heaven is hearing his new music now! Thank you, Jesus, for all the lives you blessed through the ministry you gave Carman!

Carman was my first concert in 83 or 84 in Myrtle Beach. I was 5 and it was a big influence on my life. He was a blessing. I'm still singing for Jesus leading worship with my husband. When it's for God, it's so much more than just a concert.
He came to Rhema in JHB in '84. We luuved him, his music & witness. What a loss! He's happy in Glory leading worship in Heaven. See soon Carmen. ❤🎵🎼❤
I was at this show, I remember it vividly. I was 13 years old. Great great memories of a great great show... Rest in peace Carman...
I am now 36, but for a stint I remember renting this VHS often from our local Christian store back in the late 80s and early 90s.
Carman was always there for the 33 years that I have been a Christian. So many wonderful memories. The road trip with my dad listening to his CD in the late 80's, playing an awesome song about being a Christian in different countries. The early 90's playing it when my brother-in-law was making fun of the 'Satan Bite the Dust' song. Now he is very born again!! The videos I played when my boys were little. The various concerts I went, too. Carman you are making music now in heaven and everyone is partying. Praise the Living God!!!!

Carman is truly an anointed man of God. All the people in the audience were on fire for God. In these days, it seems like the fire has been dimming for many years. Somehow, we need to be fired up again like old times. We need to ask the Holy Spirit to make us be on fire for Him like on the day of Pentecost. No more dull Christianity.

Strange to think 1985 when this was taped I was still a fried out acid-head, came to know the Lord end of that year. Saw Carman in concert a few years later (Radically Saved tour), on fire for God. Now he's with the Lord singing. Life goes by so fast.

He was the premier Christian Artist and he lived it.
Incredible understatement! And you’re just now finding out about his music? Wow you have missed it… Explore all of the music, totally glorifies the Lord, amazing talent.
You’ll find that every song is different. He incorporated rock, r&b, hip hop, theater, country, adult contemporary, comedy...whatever it took to reach people. He basically invented the Christian conceptual music video. BTW he set attendance records for Christian concerts that may never be equaled. The largest of which was 80,000. He had a real talent for getting people excited about God.
I highly recommend his One Night Only concert. You can find it here free or at Amazon for $9.49. His excellent movie The Champion (not to be confused with his song of the same name) is on Amazon for $4.99.
Ask of Me has always brought me to tears, and tonight was no exception. Carman was a master of moods and of music. He could put you in whatever mood he wanted you in by the way he sang and played his music. He was an AMAZING artist, and I praise the Lord for his life and his ministry! He is now receiving his tour of heaven, and getting ready for the marriage supper, and will never again suffer pain and agony ! See you soon, my brother from another mother!

Sadly, Bishop Carlton Pearson sunken to heresy deciding there was no such thing as Hell or the idea of sin. This was years ago and all of the major pastors officially renounced his heretical stance.
