When I fall into a slump and my faith is waning, I watch Carman videos or just listen to his music. God has used those more than once since the early nineties to revive me. I believe Carman's legacy will live on til Jesus returns and his videos on social media will continue to bring people to salvation.
Same here! It's like if you're stranded in the desert begging for just a drop of water, he brings you a glass of cool water. We love his music and always will! There is nobody like him! He is/was a one of a kind.
I'm still having a hard time that he is no more, but giving thanks that this multi talented man used his God given gifts to bring praise, worship, honor and giving glory to God Almighty. Singing and dancing now with the saints and angels, worshiping God with no more ailments limiting his glorified body. Sad you're gone, glad you're with Jesus. Missing you dearly, as I was so in love with you.

I am 80 years old and remembering Carman's ministry to me, members of my family, and many of our church's young people over the years through Fishnet in Front Royal, VA; Concerts in the Hampton Coliseum in VA, and in either Baltimore or Washington, D.C. (it's been a while since the 1970's and 80's) and through many of Carman's videos and CD's. Carman's which are all still relevant and I know God is still using them to accomplish His purpose for these perilous times. All glory, honor, praise and thanks to Father God through our Lord and Savior and coming King Jesus Who will return as Judge and Restorer of all things! The nice thing about Carman is his sense of humor. He presents Jesus Christ with that humor that puts everyone at ease. After a Carman video, I don’t feel “obligated “ to live the Christian life. I feel so joyful and happy that a Christian life is all I want to live.

@@rachelgill7579 That was not a dig at Carman. The good old days when he had tens of thousands in concerts and had big shows with dancers etc. etc. Those days went away and it was just Carman on a small stage with backing tracks.
@@thejword I got to see him one last time a couple years ago. I really enjoyed the smaller set up. It was more personal than the huge stadium tours. There were a ton of reasons why he switched to the smaller set ups. None of them were lack of fans though. He will be greatly missed.
@@thejword I was at a couple of those shows..most recently last year...i don't think the size of the venue matters...the only thing that matters was that he was still winning souls for the kingdom...that was what mattered to him...he had a meet and greet after the show...i brought my standard program which was almost 30 years old..he said it was the 1st time he had seen it since the tour..it was so cool..we talked for a good 5 or 6 minutes...smaller crowds same message and that's all the matters
@@budkinches1548 I got to see him,i think 2 years ago. I told him about how encouraging his songs were to my friends and me in East Germany. Then, when the wall fell by God's Grace, Carman was coming to the South of Germany and I took a 7 hour train ride to get there. It was so worth it! 29 years later I got to talk to him and he even held the hand of my daughter who had social anxiety and wanted to escape from being in the pic. He asked her to humor him by being in the pic (knowing that it was important to ME). She still talks of him holding her hand.....our daughters always loved his music. The excellence of his music is beyond anything else. The Great God and King of the Universe is so worth of extravagance. Awe of God inspiring.
