The other thing with Brandin Cooks is that he didn’t even really get going until the second half of the season. That chemistry is off and running this season, I think he’ll end up being a solid flex option most weeks
I've still got some faith in Brandin Cooks. Historically he's always been a bit overlooked with above average stats. Maybe recently his age (30) has been catching up with him. I'd like to install him in my flex spot.
DAC is going to be throwing 30 to 35 and maybe even some cases 40 times, CD is going to be getting at least 10 to 12 Jake Ferguson will probably get 8 to 9:00 which still gives us over 20 touch to Elliott and then brandin cooks.
@ 2:33: he’s soooooo damn tough. This kid is a straight dawg. He’s actually more physical than Odunze despite not being quite as put together. Watching this kid block is a thing of beauty. Tough as shit. And he’s also very physical at the catch point and has terrific ball skills. Is he the most sudden or explosive athlete? No. But he makes up for it with a very well rounded skill set and a special competitive fire. One of my favorite players in the draft. I had a high 2nd round grade on him.
Dontayvion Wicks was one of my favorite players in the 2023 draft. He was my #4 wide receiver overall and I had a first round grade on him. Is that higher than anyone had him? At least from what I’ve seen. Am I completely comfortable with that? Yes. Wicks had a poor 2022 season. But in order to evaluate to player correctly you had to understand that poor performance in the context of the complete disaster that was the 2022 UVA football team. You go to Wicks’ 2021 season and he looked like one of the best receivers in the country and a first round pick. Well I trusted my eyes and understood that he didn’t just suddenly forget how to play football. And despite the poor 2022 season you still saw the flashes and traits of the absolute baller that he is. And that of course bore fruit in 2023 when he got his chance with Green Bay and will continue to bear fruit this season, health permitting.
-@14:10 Love doesnt see how wide open he is until it’s almost too late. And with little pressure in his face he oddly throws of his back foot and behind Wicks who was 4 steps open at first. I agree with you on Wicks but this is why Im hesitant to take any of them.
My favorite fantasy podcast. Keep up the good work guys. Also, guys, not that hard to watch the whole video. The reason they do “Player 1”, instead of names, is because the RUclips Algorithm pushes the video to a wider audience when more people watch the video all the way through. Don’t you want the video pushed to a wider audience? And no, I have no affiliation here.
@UnderdogFantasy It's not just the value to me when you explain it. The enthusiasm you show every time you talk about him really evoked that Zay Jones take vibe.
@stephenmcguire9934 The thought process of "The Rams offense will be good" for Jefferson was good, though. Sure, the player didn't, but the strategy behind the pick made a lot of sense. Also, these are all late round dart throws. It's not like Josh is screaming to take him in the top 100. Go ahead and feel free to fade, but this whole list is just some potentially good very late picks who could easily bust.
Don’t see Polk going outside very often with Baker and Kendrick Bourne there. Prior to Javon Baker picking up his leg injury news was really quiet on Polk. If Javon Baker is healthy in training camp he’s gonna show he’s the real Pats WR1
I have tons of Baker/Polk shares, but I don't see it shaking out that way. I'm super high on Baker and think he'll carve himself out a role a la old Jarvis Landry or Jayden Reed. Doing WR1 shit without actually ever being the WR1. Hopefully with the way injuries and the Pats WR room seem to be married, Javon will get tons of opportunities to show off. Would love to see Douglas/Bourne/Polk/Baker take the charge into 2024 though.
Lol no. He’s nowhere near as polished as Polk. I like the player but he’s developmental at this point. Yes, some special physical tools but a TON to work on in terms of route running consistency, as well as consistency at the catch point.
Is it me or for redraft leagues it’s way more worthwhile this year for hero rb, 3 drafts in row being wr heavy with top end talent, but the rb rooms are a mixed bag. Top players stuck with running qbs or rookies take opportunities away
I love these sleepers . I think at least three of them if not all of them will out Omay their ADP and I have drat at least one of these guys in all of my best ball before I even seen this video . Great content
I’m not super high on a Rams #3. Rams #1 RB going into last year had an awesome streak to close out 2022 and then McVay traded him away. So, Robinson is not on my radar at all! Wicks can’t get enough target share to be a breakout without an injury ahead of him. I’d rather have Legette or Tez Walker!
This is by far my favorite fantasy site out there for content , and underdog best ball is a great concept. But I think it is absolutely ridiculous that a lot of these tournaments have 150 max entries
D Robinson is a dud. He played the same deep threat role as he did on the chiefs to open the underneath. 9th season, never got over 458 yards. Last year only got over 82 yards once.
Who was Wicks beating on those routes? Was it the teams #1 or 2 corners? Would be interesting to know. You’d think Wicks was Puka the way they are stroking him.
All Talent Profile and Statistics plus lack of early camp reports all point to Roman Wilson not being impactful this season…but I just cannot help myself from having a gut feeling with Russel as his QB a bit more of a gunslinger at the position that Roman is actually going to do something albeit on a lower value offense. But honestly for where he’s going I am certainly not a complete fade on him.
Don't sleep on Russ. Dude was absolutely slinging it last year. Quietly put up more total TD's than Mahomes, and tied with Tua/Baker. Could be awesome for Pickens and Roman this year.
@@TheGameOverture it;s not so much Russ, I know what Russ is at this stage in his career, it’s the offense as a whole. Arther Smith teams never have the highest Passing rate. And Steelers and the NFL is built to run the ball.
Nobody else has showed any promise besides maybe pop douglas and new coaching staff that didn't draft any of the old players. I'll bet on the first receiver this regime drafted
It’s crazy how they just write off a young veteran player like that. Like he just going to ride the bench and targets going straight to the rookies lol.
before Puka was around, it was Kupp and A-rob and A-rob had one of the worst fantasy seasons of all time as that team's wr2. I'm not ready to believe that D. Robinson is gonna do anything special as their wr3 behind even more talent.
Mooney- awful. Everyone acts like Justin Fields was the worst quarterback in the league but he had games last year where he was slinging the ball for hundreds of yards with limited weapons. DJ Moore and kmet... On a terrible offense really. He's underrated. Everyone is sleeping on him this year I bet he takes over the starting job for Pittsburgh. Wouldn't be surprised. Mooney isn't doing shit. And yet 2 years ago fields was running it all over the field but last year he had games where he was slinging it
Ja’Lynn Polk, Demarcus Robinson, Brandin Cooks, Dontayvion Wicks, Darnell Mooney, Jahan Dotson, BONUS: Jermaine Burton
not all heroes wear capes
Diontae Johnson will be a sleeper. For a guy going in the 7th round, he’ll finish as someone who should go in the 3rd to 4th turn. JSN as well.
Javon baker > Jalen polk! Baker is special!
Pass on Cooks and Mooney. The rest are worth looking into.
Darnell Mooney is my option also… However I think he starts the season on fire and slows up..
Michael Wilson. Has a fantastic opportunity for a breakout year.
The other thing with Brandin Cooks is that he didn’t even really get going until the second half of the season. That chemistry is off and running this season, I think he’ll end up being a solid flex option most weeks
The question is does it make sense to start both Lamb & Cooks in a 3WR 2 Flex league?
Good point, I better take some shots but I started taking Tolbert late in bestball
@@scattau41 Seems dangerous. I'd wait for Cooks to pop off and trade him when he's balling out early in-season.
I've still got some faith in Brandin Cooks. Historically he's always been a bit overlooked with above average stats. Maybe recently his age (30) has been catching up with him. I'd like to install him in my flex spot.

Polk was one of my favorite Wr prospects. I was excited he went so early but sad he went to the Pats he may surprise he seemed good at everything.
Dontayvion Wicks was one of my favorite players in the 2023 draft. He was my #4 wide receiver overall and I had a first round grade on him. Is that higher than anyone had him? It’s nice to hear the Patriots may finally have hit on a WR prospect. Damn it’s been a while
Burton always wanted to play with Burrow & his mentor is TJ Housh. I'm betting on this kid 10x out of 10
Burton & Gessicki seem like the biggest editions to the Bengals offense that could make it elite & O-line talent. I would love to get Burrow.
My favorite fantasy podcast. Keep up the good work guys.

"The key is young players on good teams" at 0:48 and you start with the Patriots...SMH
I heard that Cousins is very excited about playing with Mooney and that he helped recruit him.
So stash Wicks or Dotson if you had 1 spot left?
Mooney looks good when he looks good. I have hope for him now that he's off the Bears. As a Bears fan :/
Josh's new Zay Jones is Demarcus Robinson. On cue, Hayden calls it it out like 30 seconds later.
GUILTY
@UnderdogFantasy It's not just the value to me when you explain it. The enthusiasm you show every time you talk about him really evoked that Zay Jones take vibe.
How old is DeRob now? That Van Jefferson call never really panned out. I'll fade the ex Chiefer

Love the classic Eagles hat! I miss that logo so much. You a fan or just a all out NFL fan?

Bourne is gonna start the season on IR he will play on the outside a lot. He was known in college for deep ball catching ability and hands

That is to keep you from buying the lottery bro
Dynasty, 1QB, 12 team, PPR…
Team A: Josh Palmer; Team B: Demarcus Robinson, 2024 2.12
Who wins?
Dynasty I have burton Bateman and Wilson. I love the bonus wr
Malik Washington Malik Washington and Malik Washington.
Leaking some of my most drafted guys 🤣🤫
Ahh Hell Yeah Hayden with that sweet hat!!! Good for you! Go Birds!
I hate this episode, I was drafting 4 of those guys at a very high clip. That ADP is going to move.
Damn Robinson, wr 13 season long, that's crazy. 👀👀👀
Music to my ears 🤑😂
Only 6 percent cooks but over 20 for all these pther names up to 45 on Robinson. Edit: only 3 percent for burton gotta get that up
D Robinson is a dud. He played the same deep threat role as he did on the chiefs to open the underneath. 9th season, never got over 458 yards.
Last year only got over 82 yards once.
Yeah I'll believe it when I see it. W Kupp and Puka there aren't many targets left for D. Robinson.
Darnell Mooney had more drops than any other player with that trgt share , it wasn’t fields Mooney just sucks
Who was Wicks beating on those routes? Was it the teams #1 or 2 corners? Would be interesting to know. You’d think Wicks was Puka the way they are stroking him.

If Wicks is that cheap how cheap is Bo Melton? They're going to be paying you to draft Melton. Cash back for Melton.
Essentially I drafted unless a random GB Onslaught drafter is there in which case prob round 18
was a packers fan the problem with melton is he's a backup. He can fill in for doubs or reed so its kind of difficult to rely on him breaking out.
Wicks will ball out this year
Best pick in a 10 man
Wouldnt be surprised if polk is 4th on the depth chart all season
Nobody else has showed any promise besides maybe pop douglas and new coaching staff that didn't draft any of the old players. I'll bet on the first receiver this regime drafted
These are most of my most drafted WRs and that shit is about to be wrecked now 🥲
tim patrick
Do you think the way the Packers shut down CeeDee in the playoffs that the rest of the league is going to do the same?
How is Dotson the same as Michael Pittman 🤷
Rams WR Jordan Whittington looks like he may takeover Robinson.
Wicks is WR2 in GB
Possibly but he's def gonna have to prove it. Gb has 5 wrs capable of going for 100 yards in a game.
Wrong. Jayden Reed is both WR1 AND WR2. And the unofficial mascot.
Kj Osborn is New Englands WR1
uh huh
It’s crazy how they just write off a young veteran player like that. Like he just going to ride the bench and targets going straight to the rookies lol.
I buy it! He's no super star but he's def good and a veteran!
I wouldn't sleep on Bourne either. He was the #1 until he got injured.
@@pjohnson9436 yea when he comes back it’s likely he’ll ruin the show
“Let’s go to New England and draft….”
*clicks next video*
WE WANT TO PLAY UNDERDOG IN EUROPE!!!!

That was because A rob was GARBAGE. They should've never paid him to begin with
Wicks has unlimited upside...he, like Brian Thomas jnr looks like a true no 1

Polk ain't superrrr demario Douglas
Free Willy🐋
Stop pushing my favorite picks yo higher adp position k thank bye
Man Wicks is not getting drafted in most leagues lmao
Go birds
Brandin Cooks is done, come on...
yo what happened to mingo? you were so high on him last season. lmao clowns.
Brandon Cook sleeper to all who is looking for info this is not it. Brandon cooks? The podcast just went to sh!@#$t
Polk lololol
Every one of these wrs suck
lol
.
Maye might be amazing, but Polk was only good because his QB was incredible. Come on.... Polk doesn't hold a candle to puka. not even comparable
Polk is an awesome route runner what r u talking about
These dude know nothing.
All them mediocre wr's yall talking about for Atl, just means more for Bijan. It's out with the old, in with the new
