People talking about how they Chargers will be run only seem to forget about when Harbaugh had an elite passer in Luck, they threw the ball quite a bit and were very efficient doing so. I also expect a decent uptick in Herbert's rushing yards.
True. I'm a Saints fan, but I've been watching the Chargers since Fouts was the starter, and I've been waiting for them to knock KC off the top of that division for a long time. Herbert is an excellent/top of the list type passing QB, and to think they are just going to run, run, run is a pretty stupid prediction. Doesn't matter if Hebert has some superstar WRs around him or not. All he needs are guys who can catch. Mahomes does it without that star receiver. Brees did it. Hebert can do it too.
@@CaliBorn73 okay maybe New England but I’ll take Buffalo pass catchers over chargers easily. Coleman > Palmer Curtis Samuel > Ladd They also have kincaid
@@jakeg7472 So now we've moved from receiving core to "pass catchers"? Moving goal posts is fun. Chark and Palmer are better than Samuel and Shakir at this point, and then we'll see what the rookies on both sides do. But to be honest, I personally had Ladd rated higher and really think that Coleman will struggle in the role they've talked about putting him in.
Agree on Herbert, Tua, and Daniel Jones. Also like the Flacco comments others mentioned as insurance to AR. If I happen to have a high enough pick and draft Justin Jefferson first, I also draft JJ McCarthy or Sam Darnold as my very last pick
Kevin Dorsey is the offensive coordinator now so the offense will be designed around him and not the coordinator that was for Baker Mayfield which is why Joe Flacco did good and not to mention played the easy part of the schedule
One more thing to add about Tua. He had 29 TD last year, with a now 32 year old RB running for 18. There’s almost no chance Mostert has that many TDs again, which means alot of those will naturally shift to Tua. So unless the offense regresses dramatically, I’d expect him to flirt with the league lead in TD passes just based off a pure regression standpoint

Read the SI article by Albert Breer where he interviews Callahan about Levis. If you think Levis is guessing then you have not watched him play every play of last season. You do this and you will see he does go through his progression very well for a rookie to the point Callahan watching his tape said when you watch Levis you don’t see a lot of rookie mistakes. His receivers were the worst in separating and they were number one in drops. Also, Levis was 9th in the NFL in incompletion percentage based on inaccurate passes. In other words his incompletions were not due to him throwing an inaccurate pass. And this bad receiving core having the most drops and worst separation issues in the NFL, he was operating behind the worst offensive line in football. Name me another QB who had to play with a worst set of players every Sunday. And when you watch the game who never come away with any thought that Levis is the reason they lost. I think he'll be good this year but he's just not a flashy FF pick because he doesn't have that mobile QB bump. It's really tough to see him win FF weeks because that.

I love the idea of going over coordinators and coaching changes and their philosophies.
I agree. The philosophies of the HC and OC are the key to fantasy football.
