"Oh so how did you break out of prison."
'well you know I've got a degree in fine arts so writing beautiful melodies just comes naturally to me... I just drafted up some concerto's in my cell and then made a paper mache prison guard out of the pages for inspiration. Then, during rec time one day, I shouted out to every to shut the damn hell up because I got something to say... Then, when everyone least expected it, I dropped bars... I dropped mad bars you know.
And then once the bars were lowered to the ground I simply stepped over them and walked out of there like I owned the place... And can you believe them? The news story on dateline said I left a paper mache statue of a prison guard in the hall as some kind of intricate taunt to say they're some kind of arts and crafts security... As if to say they're toy soldiers and powerless against me or something.
And can I say, that is just absolute bullshit. I didn't leave it in the hall to taunt them... I've got a degree in fine arts and between the eating and the sleeping and the running in circles in the yard I have a life behind these bars you know! I do like crafts and origami and stuff and I was working on a paper mache statue and it was in my cell, not the hall! They lied about me!"

Jordan Huckel - Yo I gotta assume ur one of the many he paid the $20 to homeless ppl in return for their info....possibly Vegas? That’s really the only justifiable reason for ur cringe rant that I’m sure sounded great inside ur head but just weren’t quite able to bring it around to coherency when it came to writing it out. Ohhhh? Or Perhaps a former celly? And since u always wanted to be a writer or interesting, found urself envious as to how easily he was able to author numerous pieces. Those are really the only 2 reasons I can think of as to why a random would be so salty to go in on someone so hard. Esp after he not only has an easily verifiable journey but also giving those who could appreciate it, over 4hrs of one helleva ride......well at least ur attempt to hate, but said comment explains everything.

I worked for his mortgage broker company and met him once. You’re right, after visiting him and Allison Arnold at his home in Ybor City I was very impressed with his abilities and success that I thought I would have a great future working for United Capital Trust. A few months later, Turner Earnest, the operations manager for UCT told me that he got a disturbing call about the FBI coming for Matt and that I was welcome to leave the company with him and most everyone else who fled to a new mortgage broker company.

Loved all three of these podcasts. Mr. Cox has apparently done some work on himself, to admit the things he's done, turned his life around by becoming a writer and telling his story openly. Leopards CAN change their spots, to some degree, if they put in the effort. I saw one or two instances where he was thinking about not taking responsibility for something, but then he would cop to most of it. Kudos to the work people are capable of doing.

He is the most likeable person ive ever heard speak.
Also this development is not the least bit surprising. He somehow found a way to manipulate people into giving him information the same way as before. In the past he would get people to give him social security numbers and literally money from the bank. Now he’s getting documents and life stories and somehow (which admitted takes skill and hard work) finding a way to make money from that. Really its just more of the same; life stories = SSN, money = govt documents

LISTEN, I´m not saying that it inspires to break the law, or that anyone should do it.
I mean, that it is very inspiring to see someone being in real terrible situations, and going out of them and taking the upper hand, due only to confidence and pure will.
Listening to him, gives you a feelling that you can overcome the worst no matter how harsh the times may be, if you can keep yourself relaxed, open, and continue to work to turn situations into opportunities.
