@@intr4 hahaha damn thankyou
@@intr4 Where is the image u used could u link it please :)
it's a liminal space
When I tell you I’ve never even opened Blender or done any type of modeling work. Yet here I am every time there’s a new drop.
Hahahahahahahahaha
lmao same!
U should def give it a try it's sort of hard to learn but u will get it :)
Why not actually try learn it? At worst you’ll know if it’s something you can learn, best you’ll start learning an amazing program that may start a new path for you. Don’t let the chance pass by.
I remember watching blender Minecraft animations as a kid and remembered opening it and not understanding a thing. 12 years later I learnt blender but I wish I learnt it sooner
I am soooooooo lazy to even get started and it REALLY sucks.
oh hell yes, such a great video topic!!
Yesssssaye
@@intr4 ok just finished, u killed it
hi noah
rare noah sighting
You don’t know how important your channel is to me, im slowly getting comfortable with blender because of your videos, they’re so chill and well done i learn so much just following along and then i use whatever i learned to make my own thing and it’s so rewarding. I love how fast you work and the way you figured out the software and just smoothly do your thing. Just wanted to say thank you for starting these videos, you are the tutor we always hoped to have.
you have one of the most interesting channels on youtube! keep with the good work and thanks for the content :D
In some of your examples, that strange angle is called the "dutch angle". It is used in video production to give the audience a feeling that something isn't right in the scene, it gives you an uneasy feeling. The movies Pulp Fiction or Inception are some examples. This works because it´s unnatural to look at such an angle in real life.
Great tutorials btw. Keep it up
At a mall theater I worked at there was a really long hallway and I remember after closing so like 1-2 am in the morning how uneasy I felt walking down the hall, there was no difference in the lighting but for some reason just would give me a spine chill every time. The liminal space optical illusion makes sense, very blank and erie. Also doesn't help the theater was modeled after that crappy old hotel look
Ooooooof say NO MORE , just the thought alone, after-hours workplace corridors just emanate liminality
i love this. i love having someone interested in creating similar things to what i want to create to learn from. so relatable. love the whole mood. thank you
I found your IG by accident while I was brainstorming usernames for a meme page and now I've just stumbled across you on RUclips while researching liminal spaces. I love this!!! Your work is incred
was literally watching this to relax before going to bed and I also loved the entire process! thanks for the interesting (anything liminal space related is already pretty cool in my opinion) and amazing video!
Oh my God, you did it ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 i‘m fangirling!!! Thank you so much! This is cooler than cool…
Great suggestion thankyou for inspiring this video !!!
that angle change at 14:09 rly made me jump lol. this is so cool i dont even know blender much but its v fun to see you block everything out
You should recreate the back rooms next! this is sick
I love liminal spaces too. I'm an Australian who has been living in Kuwait for the past 3 years, and there are so many places around here which absolutely ooze liminal vibes. It's awesome!
the sounds your mouse makes are just so satisfying, i could fr listen to you clicking and scrolling for hours lol
Its sucha crappy old mouse ahaha, ill deffo keep it
And you did it again! Wow thats so helpful and cool! Have you ever thought on making a tutorial on how to make characters/skin texture/building faces? It would be awesome!! 🪐💜
From finding ur channel a year ago to now studying 3D animation at uni, safe to say u changed my life! Best content to spark ur blender journey I swear
Your channel is undeniably great, l am so glad it's not just who feels the same way.
this is my new comfort youtube video
the style and format of the entire episode is fuckin cosmic
the reason for me that i love your videos is your voice, style and the music. I loveee it and ofc ur intro. so yeah listening to you is really nice. Nice to the hear
yesss I would luv to see loads more stream of consciousness workflow vids ! amazing to see your process
your channel truly is one of the few „cool“ „tutorial“ ones :) Where you actually like the art behind it
This is so sick. Usually when I see these liminal space photos the lighting looks artificial, but you nailed the lighting it looks so good! Inspired me to hop back on blender
this was so fun and relaxing to watch
im new to blender and i followed along with you to make my own liminal pool as practice!! thank you for making this i love your work!!!!
love this!
i come back to this video every couple of weeks its fun
Hyperpop design, liminal spaces, all in clear tutorials. Youre a shepherd of this niche thank you so much
Love from the Netherlands
obsessed with this channel, always watch it having my coffee before work ☕
liminal space is so cool to explore and i feel has become such a thing that people get into arms about when it comes to "what it really means" (my professor literally yelled at me and the class when i was in the middle of explaining this entire thought process just because he got mad i "wasn't using liminal space correctly") -- but i think that the representations of liminality on the internet are honestly so interesting. this combined consciousness of the murky inbetween that usually focuses on an image of childhood or adolescence that's been weathered or aged.. and for the most part, these images are found or created with digital means. it's so cool and unique to me; I love this vid doubly so for it. sorry to comment twice but I just had to get it out ugh so sick
Deffo i stand corrected my image isnt "classically" liminal as it isnt a transient space. But definitions evolve over time and so it definitely fits into some sort of category nonetheless? Your thoughts on it are so poignant!
@@intr4 yeah, i agree! i think that the transient space of a specific age group, maybe, is what you landed on? like the way a itself memory is the encapsulation of a setting of transition; there are so many places I went to when I was a child-but-a-tween-but-not-quite that were the last remnants of a different age-- and now that I'm older, they're gone or completely changed. and even my own memories of these places in these special and specific times are, themselves, murky and weird.
man. whatever. listen. thank you lol I LOVE TALKING ABT THIS SHIT and i loved hearing you go over your own thought process for constructing this beautiful shared memory. it's serene and unnerving and super cool :' )
@@bzzybrie8232 literally spot on aaaahhhhh
I've honestly been heavily into liminal space stuff recently, too. Specifically poolrooms and office spaces, kind of like the rooms in the back you'd see in modern churches or stuff like that, with the grey-colored textured walls and the rough, darker-grey carpets. And abandoned grocery stores, too. Might even do my own rooms or something.
In any case, this was great to watch, you did an amazing job. Looked up making liminal spaces and found you, so I'm gonna check out your other stuff! :)
you're amazing, your work is just huge inspiration to me
Sipping a cup of tea and an intra video before bed. Perfect setups
Yeeeeeeahhhh hehehe!!!!
I've been taking pictures of liminal spaces in my city for memories cuz things are changing in my city and sooner or later they'll be converted to condos and stupid buildings. I wanted to say you inspired me to recreate a pink bathroom I found at my old mall. I think it'll be a great homage to what used to be.
this is SUCH a cool idea for a video! liminal space pictures give me such a unique, profound feeling of unease, i can’t wait to watch this and see how you translate that into your art
you're doing gods work, I don't quite know what it is but there's something about watching your videos that feels like i'm just chilling with a classmate who is helping me on a uni zoom call
Amazing super useful video !!
Ps. Ur beautiful
Pps. Love how you get rly happy over results ur getting after compression
You are amazing intra! Your work is so appreciated- thank you for sharing

Happy to see ya on youtube!!❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
This is the pool from one of those musty, 80s hotels your parents would pick to save money on vacations.
youre doing it like no other
fireeee video. i have to close a movie theater by myself at 1am and it gives suchh liminal vibes. i might have to recreate the quiet dark upstairs projector room next
Thank you for coming back 💗
Like the relaxed and casual atmosphere, whilst still providing lots of skill and knowledge. Cool hair and eyeliner as well, it has like an ancient egyptian look to it.
Ya this is my type of content. So relaxing 😌💞

IM SO HAPPY THAT U ARE THE ONE MAKING A VID ON THIS TYSM
dope video!! so glad ur back
i definitely appreciate your effort on this channel omg i love you and your videos so much
This was absolutely fantastic, this taught me how to get the ropes of blender, though i have one suggestion or other way to do the pool ladders: you can use a cylinder, extrude and the spin tool to shape the cylinder into a ladder, another tip is to add bases to the ladders as well or a bar underneath each side of the ladder above the surface.
Yesss discovered you just recently, glad to see you’re still making stuff!
watching this was so cool and reminded me of my own liminal space project-- i should honestly revisit it, this really gave me some new ideas on how to better detail the space. also this breakbeat was sick
This is so good! Dope work and thank you for showing me that this style of art has a name!
This channel is free game. Straight gems. Appreciate your perspective and workflow
This video is helping me for the promo picture for my new single, thank you!
you are amazing!
Hey Intra, I found your channel with that molten chrome typeface vid, and so I just had a question about that/was needing a little help , because nothing I seem to do can punch out the holes in my letters, also with Blender 3.0 I have no idea where geometry is 😂. I’d really appreciate your help, and great vid as always!
Edit: wowwwwwww all these hours later I figured out what I was doing wrong. Thanks again tho, love the content!
Welcome to 3d babyyyy
its perfect!
i love youuuu
This was great. Just found your channel. Really helpful and the aesthetic is on point always.

Intra on fire this month🔥🔥luv the tutorial, keep up the amazing work✨✨✨✨
YESS you're back!! nice to see you :D
You are so nicee, thank you
love ur videooos & youu
liminal spaces by definition are transitory spaces such as hallways or a street lined with lampposts. they're not the starting point, nor the destination. while this is an incredible work of an eerie space, it's not actually technically liminal? actually, scratch that. the part of the image that is liminal isn't the pool, but the door to the changing rooms. it IS liminal, though I suppose I wish the liminality was the main focus of the work.
This is really interesting, maybe I'll make a series and focus more on the classical definition, as with time i believe the net has broadened with regards to what falls into the category
@@intr4 that'd be such an interesting video/series imo! also would recommend checking out the game superliminal if you haven't already. it's very inspiring.
@@xTwistedxRagex wierd you say that cause, i got a notification this morning that its on sale on steam and its been in my wishlist for like a year ahah
@@intr4 I actually just reinstalled it to try out co-op mode with one of my friends! it's really fun! really gives me flashbacks to portal 2 co-op.
Amazing skills!
omgg yes i love ur videos
another day another intra W
Love this
Loved this, thanks so much ❤
I don’t even know wtf all this blender and editing is but u n ur channel sick af🔥
TOP CLASS !! sick 2 see that good content rollin back in---AND BTW what shirt U rockin?? lookin mad brazy fam
The name of the feeling you’re lookin for is Uncanny Valley !
isn't that more specific to interpretations of human likeness?
@@intr4 ouww you’re right. But i feel like it also applies to human constructions and what you feel when something where its supposed to have humans is empty
