You can export stuff by train by setting a route from the terminal to the edge of the map (where the rail line is) you have to buy all of the tiles to the edge. You can do the same with cargo ships and passenger trains. I love ur vids hope this works lol
I love the series! The way you make everything to turn out perfectly structured and 'industrially chaotic' at the same time. Wish i could build like you!
I appreciate adding the sped up time lapse of building the highway interchange instead of 'booping it'. Really great to see how you used the new Cities Skyline II tools. The ability to do micro adjustments and placements. Really cool and inspiring. Thanks
Make the fees of water and electricity free, it gives everything a buff of 40 % and it will give you a lot more money than electricity or water ever will
3:03 don't forget you can stack infrastructure now*! xD railways can go on roads, roads can go on railways! etc. Might help with density in the urban parts of your city. :) \* according to dev highlight videos
yeah funnily enough, i remember a lot trying to use that in 5-7 years ago in cities skylines when the nopillars mod first launched, but after that nobody is using it, haven't seen anybody use it in cities skylines II even though its a native feature
I think kibitz should build a new mountainous area with roads winding up and down the mountains, the mountains could also be covered in trees and you could build some houses/lodges on the mountains it would really remind me of my country scotland and I think it would be an amazing addition in your city!
You are one of my favourite RUclipsrs, can’t wait to watch the entire series, I binged all your city skylines 1 and it was so much fun. Thanks for bringing joy.
I know it has been two days. But a small tip. You can elevate or de-elevate the rock mining lands to make nice pits and rock hills that can be excavated. Makes it look much better.
I was going to say kibitz could just make a low bridge that raises itself for the shipping lane at 15:29 instead of spending a ton of money on a massive suspension bridge, but then I remembered he’s kibitz
5:09 "Resources exist to be consumed. And consumed they will be, if not by this generation then by some future. By what right does this forgotten future seek to deny us our birthright? None, I say! Let us take what is ours, chew and eat our fill." CEO Nwabudike Morgan, "The Ethics of Greed", 2nd edition revised and updated by Kibitz.
You could make a paradise for students, put all the education utilities in a closed district and get them all of the best things, their own district for the rich, smart students to go work on these factories, set transportation to their work, forcing them to work in a certain industrial zones so they don't mess around the other city...money guaranteed 🤑
Remember how cities skylines 1 had mega projects you could build, and detailed upgrades and trading. Oh no wait that was Simcity. After playing CS 1 I am so glad I didnt waste my money on the 2nd.
More great content as always, Kibz! If I could, I would like to offer a couple pieces of advice: 1. I’m sure you know this by now, but just in case, be sure to build your farms and mines a considerable distance away from each other. TotalXclipse discovered that mines will degrade the condition of the land around it, which will negatively affect any fertile land near it. 2. Can I recommend leaving plenty of unzoned space in between your residential and industrial zones? This will make it much easier to place your specialization and logistic buildings in between like your train stations and the like.
If you build a railway track to the border then make a cargo/passenger train route from the border (the border line will act as a station) to any of your stations you will be able to export out the city :)
I watch City Planner Plays and I fully embraced his methods of playing in Cities Skylines. I'm afraid of nothing. But that thing... 17:17 ... it scares me!
I see resources that aren't being exploited. Groundwater! You can export it! Just build a pipe out to the map edge. No idea if this actually works obviously.
The 10% grades on railway tracks and the sheer amount of highway interchanges are just what makes this CS2 series a ✨Kibitz✨ CS2 series
Don’t forget the spaghetti interchanges
@@łųçįðıțŷ thats permanently imprinted on my brain now
Yes
That “interchange” is what we like to call, as the frog man said, our favorite concrete abomination, the Stack Interchange
You never get tired of Kibitz videos
The most accurate statement I’ve ever heard
Real
couldn't have said it better
Real
I do
4:16 "did i hear a ROCK AND STONE"
Rock! And! STONE!

4:15 MOLLY GET YOUR TIN ASS OVER HERE!!! ⛏️🪨
Did I hear a rock and stone?
Great stuff! Don't forget that tunnels exist, it seems a lot of your routing problems can be fixed with making tunnels :)
He mentioned it in the first or second video of the series. He likes to avoid tunnels cause he likes to see what he builds.
creating routing problems and trying to solve them is half of the fun of cities skylines
I love the series! The way you make everything to turn out perfectly structured and 'industrially chaotic' at the same time. Wish i could build like you!
4:14 ROCK AND STONE!!!!!
4:15
DID I HEAR A ROCK AND STONE??!
As someone who lives and works in a mining town in the mountains, I'm excited and somewhat scared to see what Kibitz does in the next episode.
"why think about the future when you can have money now!" You would make a great politician Kib
ROCK AND STONE BROTHER

LOVED the build of the highway interchange. You aced it with the music. Had to rewind and watch it again

The commentary on your videos are Top tier. Hours of videos watched and i still cant get enough 😂
17:22 trust me, its a real thing, just drive in Texas and you'll see one.
So you also live in Houston
@@spencerplayz8153 nope, just been to texas a couple of times.
Been looking forward to this, loving the series, and it's nice to see the game actually running well
I love your sense of humor in your cities skylines ii videos it makes more fun to watch than some other ones i watch
Make the fees of water and electricity free, it gives everything a buff of 40 % and it will give you a lot more money than electricity or water ever will
Never enough Kibitz
Kibs: *enthusiastic* „Apocalyptic Mining town!“
Me: „YES!!“👍
You're literally the best City Skylines youtuber that posts now
I love that highway interchange you made! Good vid as always.

Don't forget to setup your trains to go to your neighbours for imports/exports and passenger trains.
I think kibitz should build a new mountainous area with roads winding up and down the mountains, the mountains could also be covered in trees and you could build some houses/lodges on the mountains it would really remind me of my country scotland and I think it would be an amazing addition in your city!
you need to add cargo train lines to the edge of the map so you can export goods with trains = more money
But it doesn't work..
It's bugged rn.need time to be fixed
I already know this Video will be great❤
It's because it is.

Oh boy! The Maniacal Mastermind playthrough style, my favorite.

@kibitz you can actually open your natural resources in the info section when you open the road tools. So you can see what you're building on
Kibitz: Let’s build tons of industry and stuff. Also Kibitz: -$1,000,000 *edit: didn’t realize the budget panel doesn’t take into account exports
what a crazy highway intersection! gratz!
This feels like watching a chef who is just way better than you make an amazing dish
Doing great Kibitz!! I like many others are hungry for more.....BBBRRRROOOOOTHHHER!!!!! Can't wait to see what you build next.
"And since all the pollution goes out to sea, theres no negative part!"

your commentary and enthusiasm is fantastic! Thank you for the enjoyable and funny video!
21:08 the roads remind me of something
Never gonna play this game but your videos are awesome!!
When doing rocks or ore I landscape some hills and stuff into the gray to make it look a bit better than just flat, dull, gray.

That intersection looks like something where i live, Houston's Highway interchanges are a nightmare.
I love any of the city skyline series as long as it’s a kibitz

Hooray for both future and past kibz
The cities skyline 2 road tool is so much better indeed, I would spend the next days building interchange
If you build a railway track to the border then make a cargo/passenger train route from the border (the border line will act as a station) to any of your stations you will be able to export out the city :)
1400 people at the car factory? Did they update that? Uh oh I should check on the dairy and stuff in my city haha.
Kibz is going to construct an industrial wonderland with a thousand roads to ride.
Please! Continue this series, we need more !!!!😊😊😊😊
7:34 angry moustache man agrees
I think this might be a series of interchanges with a decorative highway connecting then. 😂
that interchange hurt my brain... but also very amazing, lol
It makes me happy to watch your video's, Thank you Kibitz...
Why are your road layouts always so beautiful 😫😍
me when i hear kibitz say rock and stone "ROCK AND STONE TO THE BONE"
Finally!! The industial empire expands!

all the trash next to the farmland is hilarious
Love the vids dude but you should’ve kept that island for a dope city. Theres plenty of oil to get.
I'm digging the new logo!
Looked like a simplified version of the spaghetti interchange between Omaha, NE and Council Bluffs IA
I’m quite shocked, kibitz is actually pretty good when it comes to planning cities
all of these elevated tracks make me loose my mind
Keep doing more of these videos!
Loving this series ❤
You should name a train station, Dutton Station.
If you know, you know lol
I love cities skylines 2 as well as your content i hope That you succeed.

My dude, imma need these videos out faster. Keep up the great work.
I love watching him freak out about 10 percent more ore
This is so great to watch, I love it!
That big knot looks like the roads in Pittsburgh, PA. lmao
you should try exploiting power exports! they are incredibly good for money
Oh yes, I like the sound of an apocalyptic mining town!
that custom interchange looks like Torontos highway spaghetti
This reminds me so much of New York and New Jersey.
I love the new profile pic!
Fantastic industrial layout as always
Chop chop with the new video
lmap Real Civil Engineer would be proud of that interchange
I love how a city of 50000 has the traffic of 5 million inhabitants
