Rachelle there's so many bangers dropping but I'm so glad you jumped on Underoath right away. Such an important band to the scene and they brought the heat with this track. I think your dogs agree too hahah
Another band I've never actually listened to. Definitely, to me, has that 2000s metal sound which I always find cool and nostalgic nowadays. Also would have preferred it to be longer but still a cool song!
Underoath is one of those bands that I missed. Can't say I can name a single song, and I feel at this stage with my current tastes it would take a lot of work to get into and love. I don't have much to say about this song in particular, but I think that's just a reflection of my history and preference in the genre. I really enjoyed listening to you talk about this track. It's cool to watch people react to new songs, but having a long history with the band and being able to go in with expectations and comparisons is something very cool to see. Really good video.
This song really had the sound from their album Ø (Disambiguation) When 'Erase me' came out, I pretty much dismissed it after a few minutes, it just wasn't what I was expecting from underoath. But I came back to it a year later and gave it a chance, and it really grew on me. Aside from 'on my teeth', my other favorites were 'Rapture', 'In Motion', 'I gave up', and ihateit.
This is the stupidest fucking take I’ve ever heard. I can’t find an Underoath fan that thinks disambiguation isn’t good. It’s heavier so it doesn’t have the accessibility of defined the great line or as much singing as lost in the sound but to say it’s fucking st anger is just fucking stupid. It’d be like saying that you think the sky is green the the grass is blue. Lol.
Dang, faster than Nick Nocturnal uploading a cover! I'm impressed. Haha I saw your reaction before I even learned about the song. Gotta do Darkbloom by We Came as Romans next!
I really related to the lyrics of Erase Me. And agree On My Teeth is the best track. Also Hold Your Breath… that chorus is something else. It was kinda cool to see them do something a bit different, but definitely missed the heavy.

You were so fast on this one!
UO is my favorite heavy band of all time, and they were also the gateway into -core music for me too!
Omg “changing of times” is a gem!! “alone in December” is my favorite
Angel below is the best track on COT.
YOU TOOK ME OVER THE EDGE…
Cool video! I’m glad this showed up on my feed. I LOVE this song. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the record.
yes
Rude!
Yes!
chris dudley said in a podcast that they have a 7 minute song on this record, this feels like the breathing in a new mentality of the LP.
Can't wait for the pit during this song.
Cool reaction once again
Spencer is the best metal vocalist going. His clean singing is great, too, but this is the Spencer I love.
I am glad there was HEAVY :)

Like you Rachelle, I’ve been a huge fan of Underoath for a very long time and I love this. Old and new albums, I’ve always enjoyed their releases 💙😎

I saw them live when they were on tour promoting The Changing of Times! Such a good album. Now I feel old…

Awesome. I'd love to hear your thoughts on Disambiguation. I call it the St Anger of Underoath.
