Watching Underoath reactions cause this song is killer and hearing Thrice is your fav band too!? Yes dude, you get it! Enjoyed this vid and your guys dynamic. But yeah looking forward to more reactions from you guys!
This is one of underoaths best albums. If it wasn’t for this band and hearing reinventing your exit I would’ve never heard this type of music in my life.
Didnt even know they were working on new music! Everyone is just dropping bangers this year. Quarantine has had ppl getting to work, lol. I agree with Nath, I've liked 50% too, lol. Dropped off after Disambiguation but good to hear some new stuff and look forward to what else they put out.
Actually it’s quite the opposite LOL. They had stuff written for this album just before the pandemic and put it on hold until now because they weren’t able to tour LOL
@@johnnyneedham9831 yeah so that was sick hot damn 👌🏻 love the rawness of the vocals. Cool grooves and great guitar tones too, can't believe I never checked these guys out. Definitely spinning this more often ✌🏻
yeah!! thanks boys.. yeah put a smile on my face to hear the guys back again.. and funny a girl who I liked at 16 got me into underoath.. haha then into screaming music after that.. love thrice too! how you guys feel about As Cities Burn?? talk about another band who reinvented their sound several times
Love Underoath, agree the last album (sort of) floated about .. sits just on the cusp of something? Definitely excited by this and new music from them. One for review though boys, new Trivium: Court of the Dragon. Thank you please.
Glad to see them coming back with another album, and I agree with the Thrice analogy. As a long time fan of Underoath, I'm glad they are staying heavy so far, with this and Hallelujah. Erase Me was a let down for me as well, but some of the stuff, like the more prominent synth stuff from Chris can stick around. It still fits Underoath without being too far off brand when considering The Changing of Times and They're Only Chasing Safety. That being said, if this album as a whole isn't great either, I'm still happy with just about their entire past catalogue of releases pre-Erase Me. I mean, Disambiguation is still, hands down, one of the heaviest albums I've ever heard, and how the band was feeling conflicted during the making of Lost in the Sound, the way that translated into the music = art. I could go on about other releases, but ya'll know. 🤷♂️😂
Shame on me, that's the first time I listen to this band; but I'm here to learn, not just enjoying great music and you. So if you'd like to suggest some of their songs I must check out, I'll love it. Based on what I ear here I'd say this song tells me nothing, but I immediately understood that I was actually disappointed by the audio quality, so I listen to it on Spotify and DAMN there are no EXCUSES to not like that much! The vocalist tone reminds me a bit of Keith Buckley for the aggression and I love it. I don't know how to explain it but I feel like they don't need to work on singing, like they usually talk like that, even when they were kid LOL. P.S. Speaking bout songs without an official video out yet, I'd love you to react to City State "Into the night" and to one of the songs from Guardian of the past EP. August Burns Red featuring Fit for a king, that's really electrifying! BYYEEE
Woah well that was fast from hitting up Johnny on IG about it yesterday! haha Told ya they bought the heavy back! I love it. Sounds like Lost In The Sound had a baby with disambiguation. Though I can hear a bit of Erase Me in the vocal melody choices a bit. I just hope hope hope they don't have this one track be a banger and the rest kind of meh like last time lol
Can you guys react to Illenium & Slander - Lay It Down (feat. Krewella) or anything from Illenium's new Fallen Embers album? The album just released but I don't know how you guys feel about listening to EDM music, I know you guys tend to focus on heavy/pop music.
oh wow.. i have loved underoath for so long, similar to Nathan, i went to Parachute (a christian event with some heavy bands mixed in there) and saw them live, and man they got me into screaming music! I stopped listening since Lost in the sound of separation, but i think i need to do a deep dive into some of their other albums since. Any recommendations?
@@giure4447 Define The Great Line and Lost In The Sound Of Separation are all time heavy post-hardcore classics. They're Only Chasing Safety, which preceded these two is a bit lighters (still not light by any means) and launched them for a lot of people. Disambiguation is probably they're heaviest effort, but also done without their clean singer, so it's not for everyone. Most people seem to dislike the comeback album Erase Me (myself included).
Never really been much of an Underoath fan at any point of their career tbh, and I’m still not with this song… idk what it is about them but nothing they make seems to hit me in the right way.

I miss old Underoath! They were also one of the first bands that got me into hardcore/screamo along with Atreyu!
Truer words have never been spoken…Thrice are indeed the greatest band of all time 🖤
You’re my type of person 🙌🏼
This song is what Disambiguation would have sounded like with Aaron in the band.
100% lol and I'm soooo here for it 🤘😈🤘
Defo want more!
Underoath are great at writing kind of meandering tracks that don't bore you, very few bands are good at that.
Good to hear them back with some heavy, need more!

Dude, same here. I was 15 when your only chasing safety came out and started my love for unclean vocals. Still my favorite band to date!
I love that they end their songs like that... a sudden stop after chaos was let loose.
Never listened to them but this is sick 🔥 definitely checking out their older stuff
Define the great line and they’re only chasing safety are amazing

Wicked track. I am so pumped that Underoath is back.
Yes lads!!! So glad to be hearing some heavy underoath again. I'm the same, Underoath and Alexisonfire were the 2 bands that got me into screaming
