the most suscessful car of kia is picanto either new or old. Really feel nice to drive.
I had the 1 litre version, I had the choice when I got it new of the 1.2 and wished I'd got that instead
My wife bought this 2016 model direct from an old school owner with a 53k mileage on April 2021.
I had a chance drove the car from the beginning of nkve till the end of lpt2
The handling is so superb especially passing thru winding gombak-karak highway with an average speed of 120kmh (mco empty highway) shifting 3rd-D gearing.
Full tank (guessing 32-33ltr full) from petron nkve to temerloh rnr shell with the said speed consumed 1st half of the quarter. Topped to full.
Continue to perasing rnr and lost about half of the tank with average of 140-160+ kmh
Manage to go until 170+kmh somewhere in between.
Again topped to full.
Enduring next 180++km with a cautious speed 110-120kmh till paka rnr and lost to half of the 1st quarter.
Topped to full at paka rnr and continue to the end of the journey in setiu with half tank left.
Paka to gemuroh toll really made me feel secured and intact especially in lpt2 well known bumpy and rough road surface.
Overall this is a very nice small car in-term of handling and build. Pack with premium safety features and sturdy. Fair nvh. Fair fuel consumption (depend on ur foot weight) cause u’ll never realize when it’s reaching out of speed limit.
The only drawback is lacking booth space (double deck) and weak in initial torque power. The steering is a bit vague.
With the price and conditions that my wife got i think it’s a really a best bargain in today’s era compared to a new premium spec axia.

WOW, Picanto, my Picanto model 2018, but i Don't like 4speed auto coz rpm so tinggi, 100kmh 3K rpm wtf 😂.. but the handling sure best giler event top speed 180kmh body still stable.

Hi Anthony, May I know at 100 and 120km/hr at what rpm?
At 100km/h the rpm stays at 3200RPM. As for 120km/h I didn't notice that. By calculation according from the reading at 100km/h it should around 3300-3400RPM I guess.

It is the default steering that comes with the manufacturer

I think a KIA Picanto has way better NVH compared to a typical fucking Toyota or Honda. The pricier Harrier or CR-V drives way more noisier, uncomfortable, and unsettling. Even the upcoming Mitsubishi Xpander is still a bit noisy for cabin noise.
If you compare the same segment. Yes I think it has better sound insulation then most of its competitors. Cheers.

new one look agrressive , when on traffic light the new one can smoke all car , yeah its a 4auti but why u so fast
