I stayed aboard Queen Anne as a guest speaker of Cunard. I paid for my own airfares to get here. I also paid for my own accommodation shoreside. I paid for my own transfers. Cunard has provided me with the opportunity to come on board for the VIP event and also invited me to be speaker on board the ship’s maiden voyage. We ONLY cruise inside. In our opinion, the room is for sleeping and getting ready to enjoy the rest of the ship! We take the savings and spend it all on board. 😅

Me as well. Though this one looks awful. I must admit. I am more worried about the stuffiness of the line. I am not taking a Cunard though. Right now.

We would but unfortunately we prefer a room we can have some fresh air circulating. We don't particularly like relying on air-conditioning. So we just find the cheapest balcony

@@chicagomike Not stuffy in the slightest, was my concern also before I took my first Cunard. A very down to earth experience, simply better quality food in my opinion. They don't pretend to be posh unlike some other cruise lines. I found them direct and other passengers equally down to earth.

I had an inside cabin aboard Queen Victoria. I liked it as I need quiet. I slept like baby. I will be on Queen Anne in July in an inside cabin. Thx for the video 🙏

I wish you’d shown the desk/vanity from across the room. Does it take advantage of the vertical space in the same way as the balcony rooms?

Thank You Chris ! Another great video once again ! I think the cabin looks wonderful!👍 Love the new colour scheme with the smart nautical blues and rich golds ! Definitely a solid setup. I like the beds facing sideways as one enters the room, as opposed to the bed being face on when one enters! I’m booked for an inside on deck 10 for her Transatlantic Maiden Voyage in January 2025. Have no idea which way the beds will be facing 😂. Guess I’ll just have to be surprised when I get onboard !?!🤷‍♂️ Chris, will your upcoming new “ Queen Anne “ book be available onboard at that time ? I really want to purchase one !! I really love the exterior styling of Queen Anne . So sleek and majestic. I really like the look of the funnel without the traditional air scoop . That makes the funnel look taller and larger! More grand and eye catching. Cheers my friend 🇬🇧🇺🇸. MikeW.

Michael, you make a very good point. We also are trying to figure out what inside cabins have the bed sideways. They seem to be in different categories and locations for what I have gathered so far. 6138 (Visit with Us), 4245 (Cruising with the 4bs) are examples of sideways staterooms.

I often cruise inside. Typically there is shelving behind the bed and or more furniture. I think this is the least attractive inside cabin that I have seen on any ship. Is there no clothes closet?

What’s the cabin number please ? Wonder why they’ve put some cabins with the beds sidewards? These look the best as opposite the TV as in the other cabins I believe the TV’s don’t move.

Hi Chris - I've noticed that some of the inside cabins are configured with the beds side on and some with the bed on the back wall. which cabin was this one?

This one has the beds facing bow to stern. I was filming from the entry way next to the cupboards with the door behind me.
