You cannot escape Vampire ;) Guys that have the blood, I commend you for letting our favorite Elder to return back from torpor and share his knowledge. Thank you, that's very kind! I find the best way to get people interested in The World Below is by contextualising it within a video about Vampire. I know most of my subscribers are Vampire fans first, so they need to be hooked, if you get my meaning.
I've started playing vtm in late 92'..I haven't played since 2000.I always dug deep into the lore&bought MANY books of the entire wod. I just wanted you to know that your videos are brilliant. I've been watching them for quite a while now,originally bing watching them. Thank you for all you have done & do.
I just found your channel. Ive loved all the videos so far. Ill check out your new game! Ive played vtm for 25 years and ive played every edition. After all the dust has settled I think revised the best. V20 had some good books, but i didnt like the system. Im on the fence about 5th. Your videos have made me change my mind on some issues ive had, but one issue still sticks out. Just how bad the sabbat got ot in 5th. Sabbat are my absolute favorite. Their political intregue is just as deep as the cam or anarchs. Most people who ive met who dont like thrm simply havent actually played them. 5th makes them into generic npc monsters. Its crazy the the second most popular faction got basicqlly killed off. Id love to hear why the decisions to sweep the sabbat under the rug happened. Good luck with the new game!
If it was me making the decisions, the Sabbat would have been playable in V5. I do know why they're not, however, and will make a video on the subject if you pick up The World Below!

Goodness gracious!! I just realized that you are writing on v5! A dream come true im sure! Heres a quick question for you, and i mean this with no snarkyness. Why should I buy V5 over VtM20, VtM revised, or Requiem 2e?
@@TheJDough1 Well I've been working on various other games since then, and am not due to work on V5 again any time soon. For me, it's a question of taste over anything else, and presently my tastes lean more toward running Requiem 2e (which I do for two groups a month) than any other Vampire game.
Why don't you write any V5 anymore? Totally understand if its personal or not something you can talk about, but would appreciate a little insight behind the curtain if can! Once again, thabk you for these vids, and have indeed checked out World Below!
I've not been offered any more work! It's a shame in a way, because pretty much everything I've contributed to Vampire has been very well acclaimed, but I respect Renegade's choice. There are plenty of other games for me to work on.
@@TheGentlemanGamer 'tis a shame indeed, not to be too gushy but your work on vamp tends to be better quality, in both content and layout/readability! But as you say plenty of games needing attention!
