That ivy removal was insane! My husband always says don't let that grow up your brick house or wall.....it can be really destructive. I was amazed how well that wall held together when pulling that off. I showed my husband you pulling that off and he was shocked at how thick that was. Please do a part 2. That yard could be beautiful when cleaned up and new plantings in place.
It's a pity you didn't have an electric chain saw. So much work, but you two did an amazing job. I was surprised the wall didn't crumble with all the stress you had to inflict on it to rip the ivy off.
I have never seen ivy so thick before . It must have been there when they first built the house! My Goodness ! That really took a lot of muscles to remove it from the walls and the tree. I am a HUGE fan of you guys. You're funny🤣 , hard working 💪 and just plain enjoyable to watch👀. Can't wait for part 2.👍👍👍
Kept expecting the wall to give up the ghost. I have been fight the good fight against ivy for years and i think that maybe i am beginning to win. Good job.
Ficus trees mixed in with the ivy - those 2 things are so utterly destructive to gardens. That brick wall is legend!! What a testament to the craftsmen that built it! Can’t wait to see more 😊 I agree about you wearing masks guys - all those insect dropping and who knows what else. Be careful 😊
I was concerned that the old wall was going to fall down with that pike pushing into it! Why didn’t you just take a chain saw to it and cut it off in sections?
I have never seen ivy like that before!! It looked like what 5 inches deep? OMG!! You really needed one of those small chain saws , that was unreal. Great work guys! It looks so much brighter back there now. Are you going to was the wall down? Looking foward to seeing Part 2 on this one. Take care and don't forget to hydrate!!
PART 2 NOW UPLOADED AND YOU CHAINSAW LOVERS MAY ENJOY IT! Https://ruclips.net/video/1JE1JcIqNSo/видео.htmlsi=PMATS0WrOkhFTvZH Have you ever seen Ivy this thick guys? What a beast! Make sure to like and subscribe for part 2 which will be on the way shortly!!
PG Tips loving the wall I took all the Ivy off our little brick wall in front garden u can’t beat an old brick wall well done 👍 bet your friend was happy !!!!! 👏👏👏
Unbelievable 🙉 Never seen anything like it. That ivy was something from science fiction. What a difference already and I'm so looking forward to the second part. I hate Ivy and have removed it from my property. Thought mine was bad, but this, GOBSMACKED!!! 😲😲 You two rock. Watching from Oregon USA ❤️❤️❤️
The minute I saw the ivy jungle 👁️ I hit subscribe .. insane but my brain was screaming chainsaw … more of this nuttiness please ..💯👏 What a fabulous wall
LOl, I was saying the same thing! Chain saw, or Sawzall, not a knife. Probably a good reason. I love these 2, very funny and the best landscaping, especially on English gardens!
Frankly, this was just a bunch of boys at play. More joking around occurred than anything. The bloody video could have been half the length if you just used a chainsaw. 👎🏻
That was insane, loved it! Throwing in your humor with the back breaking work was crazy fun to watch. I've seen wisteria as thick as ever, but ivy, never this thick. Alex and Gary, I knew you guys would get it done, can't wait for part 2!
Oh my goodness, that’s incredible. I thought it looked like a mattress also when I first saw it. Obviously it was a lot of work but it had to be a lot of fun too. Largest ivy carpet revealed live on RUclips. I’m looking forward to the next episode. ❤
Coucou les garçons ! Il n'y a vraiment que vous pour entreprendre un tel travail ! Mais c'est si gratifiant de voir apparaître ce beau mur de briques qui a l'air de s'en sortir pas trop mal ..... A vos muscles, prêts, partez !
Wow, what a project. I've only had to deal with ground ivy and once started it rolled up like an old carpet. Would love to see start to finish on ivy removal.
I had visions of the wall toppling over! Good hard work, makes a huge difference, ivy is very destructive, causes lots of trouble, well done fellas from Australia 🇦🇺
Hi Alex & Gary, Wow that was the Thickest Ivy Wall I Ever Seen!! 😮 It`s Really Hard to Believe there was a Brick Wall Behind It!!🧱 You 2 Did a Remarkable Job on this One,🤩 I`m Impressed on You 2 Doing All This Work 💯& Making Jokes Too!!🤣🤣 Excellent Work, Removing The Wall of Ivy!! 🌱🧱 Yes, I Think Like Other Comments, That You 2 Should Wear Masks!!😷😷 It would of Been a lot Easier with a Chainsaw, & Less Cutting with Handsaw!!✔ Can`t Wait for Part 2 & Maybe a Wood Chipper for All the Branches!! Take care & be safe on Your Next Job, & Part 2!! 🤩 Have a Wonderful Weekend, Separately !! 😎😎✌✌❤❤ Love Barb from Central Illinois USA❣
That wall is so lovely! It needs to be power washed to get those dead roots off. Also, I bet the ivy has roots in the ground that should be removed or it _WILL_ come back.
I mean it can be pretty if well managed. But yes it definitely can get out of control. & especially growing beside & onto the brick wall, it could cause damage to the wall. But like if you grow ivy on lattice or something it's definitely beautiful
Wow! that wall is so tough to stand up to all that pressure also! will be nice to see that brick all powerwashed up and looking bright! nice work guys!
Well, this is a first for me in seeing ivy so overgrown and huge. I took a lot of ivy off the house that I bought and it was nambie pamby compared to what you got off that wall. Good job.
What a tough job , ivy just takes over 😱 can’t wait to see this garden when you’ve finished ! Brilliant video , you two are so funny , love your sense of humour .👍👍👍
Wow! That was amazing! I’m looking forward to part 2, I’ve never seen anything like this. I’m so glad the ivy I planted years ago never took off and grew for me. ❤
So much for those "hallowed walls of ivy". The Little House of Horrors must be next door. Yikes! Nice work, men! You earned your supper today. Txs for sharing.
We actually used it on a 15 ft drop we had in clay soil. That was 1978. It maintained that dropoff so the land never slumped even with the 44 inches of rain per year we get. It did its job, but near any structures or trees, no way. You can’t even buy English ivy anymore. It’s considered an invasive species. 💚Super watching your “English Ivy Peel”! 💚
That’s one strong brick wall, and it’s still standing on its own! That was a lot of expended energy. Why didn’t you use a small chainsaw to help? I thought you had one. I look forward to the second part!
Surely a reciprocating-type saw would be better than fighting the massive proportions of the ivy. You seem to make a lot of work for yourself. Once that bulk in off the wall, the rest if easy.
it is amazing that most of the wall is still standing after all that weight of ivy... Great video. Thanks or Cheers
omg what a tough job never seen ivy like that before well done 👍 x
Surprising that the wall is still standing!
That ivy removal was insane! My husband always says don't let that grow up your brick house or wall.....it can be really destructive. I was amazed how well that wall held together when pulling that off. I showed my husband you pulling that off and he was shocked at how thick that was. Please do a part 2. That was some seriously hard work there guys!
It's a pity you didn't have an electric chain saw. So much work, but you two did an amazing job. I was surprised the wall didn't crumble with all the stress you had to inflict on it to rip the ivy off.

Wow! Never seen such a colossal wall of ivy. You boys never fail to amaze me! Really amazing work! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! 😀 hope your doing well :)
Kept expecting the wall to give up the ghost. I have been fight the good fight against ivy for years and i think that maybe i am beginning to win. Good job.
Wow that's a tough job but you both handled it so well. Nice to reveal the lovely walk behind and so much more light in the garden
Awesome! Yes, what a difference. Looking forward to part 2.
👍🏻 job Alex & Gary. Ivy is 👌🏻 in the right place. It was good that the 🧱 wall is 👌🏻. Have a nice 😊 weekend
WOW! Could you both enter the Guinness World Record for ivy removal? Seen ivy before, but not that thick or massive. A solid blanket! 😳
👍👍

Good to see you back guys, that was one tough day, it’s a wonder the wall didn’t fall down when you pulled all the ivy off!
Unbelievable 🙉 Never seen anything like it. That ivy was something from science fiction. What a difference already and I'm so looking forward to the second part. Omg that was a lot hard work. Amazing how thick and tough the ivy is. Looking forward to seeing the next video 😊

Yep. Chainsaw!
Frankly, this was just a bunch of boys at play. More joking around occurred than anything. The bloody video could have been half the length if you just used a chainsaw. 👎🏻
That was a lot of work. It is amazing that you were able to remove it at all. Thx for doing this and sharing. 👍👍👍👍👍
Looks so much better looking forward to the next one
Whoop 🙌 thank you 🙏

OMG what a wall of ivy!! Tough job. Beautiful wall.
Oh my goodness, that’s incredible. I thought it looked like a mattress also when I first saw it. Obviously it was a lot of work but it had to be a lot of fun too. Largest ivy carpet revealed live on RUclips. I’m looking forward to the next episode. ❤
Im surprised that the brick wall is in such good shape. I guess the I’ve vine protected them. Good job guys!
😀 it is in very good shape still :)
What a nightmare! I couldn't believe how THICK that ivy was!! Well you guys put in a hard day's workout that's for sure. WOW! 💯👍😎
Coucou les garçons ! Il n'y a vraiment que vous pour entreprendre un tel travail ! Mais c'est si gratifiant de voir apparaître ce beau mur de briques qui a l'air de s'en sortir pas trop mal ..... A vos muscles, prêts, partez !
I hope there's a part 2!
There will be :)
I have never seen something like that come down in huge pieces! Wow! Would love to see that brick pressure washed!
Wow, what a project. I've only had to deal with ground ivy and once started it rolled up like an old carpet. Would love to see start to finish on ivy removal.
I’m impressed by the wall being so sturdy. Whoever built it did a damn good job!
Wow - Mother Nature - is amazing - !!!
Yes, a chainsaw might have made it much easier, or even a Sawzall! Quite the job! I would love to see that brick wall cleaned up! ❤
Thanks for watching we had the chainsaw but we ran out of chain oil 😫
@@acreslawncare Ah. Knew there had to be a reason y’all weren’t using a chain saw. The fact that you weren’t using one was driving me nuts.
I hate all the noisy machines, much prefer a machete 🗡 or an ax ⛏!! 💥⚒⚒⚒✨🌈
@@acreslawncareI would think a trip to buy more oil would have saved time and much effort in the long run.
@@acreslawncare hey in a pinch we use any used motor oil we have! Great channel, been subscribers for a few years now.. from New Jersey, USA
That was an awesome transformation!
Just when you think you've seen the worst vines can do, Ivy says Hold My Beer. 😮
AMAZING WORK. BLESSINGS TO BOTH OF YOU WATCHING FROM NORTHERN CALIFORNIA USA.
Amazing. Be safe
Wow! I’ve not seen anything like it! I’m amazed that you got it sorted. Well done lads 🥳🥳🤩
Looks like you are getting at the end a lot of very hard work looks great
Thank you 😊
I had visions of the wall toppling over! Good hard work, makes a huge difference, ivy is very destructive, causes lots of trouble, well done fellas from Australia 🇦🇺

This was a very interesting video. I didn’t know ivy could be so invasive
I have never ever seen Ivy that bad. That has got to be years and years and years. Gorgeous Stonewall❤
I think this proves that you could really use a small cordless chain saw at times.
WOW! That was insane.
It sure was crazy 😜
And I used to think ivy growing up a wall was so pretty. Now I know how destructive it is
It sure is 👍
Virginia creeper is a good solution. Pretty and seasonal.
It is an incredible plant x
That wall is so lovely!
It needs to be power washed to get those dead roots off. Also, I bet the ivy has roots in the ground that should be removed or it _WILL_ come back.

Amazing!
Insane ivy
You need your chain saw! Cut it into manageable sizes.
Or even a sharp machete maybe? (and a little martial arts)!
Wow! that wall is so tough to stand up to all that pressure also! will be nice to see that brick all powerwashed up and looking bright! nice work guys!
You’re just like my lawn guys… never say die! Always make it fun.
Love the birds at about the 15:15 mark😁😁👍 Great job, a lot of work!

Wow! That was amazing! I’m looking forward to part 2, I’ve never seen anything like this. I’m so glad the ivy I planted years ago never took off and grew for me. ❤
Wow that was some take down!
Great job on getting that Ivy down from the wall. That was tough job
Did you get a sore throat from all that ivy dust? Hard work that. You guys always do a good job 👍
Thank you 🙏 no we are all good for now 😂
So much for those "hallowed walls of ivy". The Little House of Horrors must be next door. Yikes! Nice work, men! You earned your supper today. Txs for sharing.
Power tools, gents!
Ran out of chainsaw oil 😫
Astounding!!!!!!! I've never seen anything like this before. Who would have thought? Good job, guys. God bless.

A great job guys - you need to buy a pole saw - doing all that sawing by hand must have been such hard work!
You got that right! Thank you 😊
Ivy surfing 🏄♂️
WOWWWWWW!!!!!!!😮

Simply amazing

I love the sound of ivy being pulled off a wall ❤
Its a BEAST
That was crazy!!
Love watching you
Absolutely amazing!
WOWZER
I'm looking forward to part 2.
That’s ridiculous 😮. Another reason why I don’t like Ivy. Almost needed the chainsaw and respirators. Excellent job 👏 keep well.
That’s one strong brick wall, and it’s still standing on its own!
That was a lot of expended energy. Why didn’t you use a small chainsaw to help? I thought you had one.
I look forward to the second part!

Holy ivy Batman wow
PINK FLOYD music Another brick of the wall,As you peeled it back.
I've seen a lot of ivy but that was insane.
