    That ivy removal was insane! My husband always says don't let that grow up your brick house or wall.....it can be really destructive. I was amazed how well that wall held together when pulling that off. I showed my husband you pulling that off and he was shocked at how thick that was. Please do a part 2. That yard could be beautiful when cleaned up and new plantings in place.

    It's a pity you didn't have an electric chain saw. So much work, but you two did an amazing job. I was surprised the wall didn't crumble with all the stress you had to inflict on it to rip the ivy off.

    • @DonnaGB333
      @DonnaGB333 10 месяцев назад +1

      😁@schallb6766 I don't know them, I'm not family at all and I can't play the banjo. I do know however that the whole lot of this ivy will have formed from roughly just two main trunks at the bottom of the wall. It requires careful purchase to pull this ivy away from the wall in as much one go as possible, so as not to leave broken clusters and destroy the ability to lift it off without having to go over the wall repeatedly. If you break this chain, you are in for hours of hand picking the insanely strong rooted areas from the wall. Once the main amount is hanging off, it's actually quite easy to cut into manageable sized pieces for disposal. It's not an overgrown lawn or abandoned property situation where one shot kind of tools are certainly required. The skill here and in a lot of these old gardens is not to have to attack at will and to know your plants inside out.
