Put simply an oil change is when you take out the motor oil from your engine and put back in new motor oil. During an oil change you also have to change the oil filter and put on a new one. The oil and oil filter do so much for your engine that getting regular oil changes is the best way to keep your vehicle healthy.

when i took my car to Kia car pros Huntington Beach, they took 4.5 hours to do my oil change (with appointment), and when i got it home, it was filled all the way up the stick. I drained 2 quarts to get it to range, and the oil i drained was dirty. So essentially, they just waited 4 hours 20 minutes, popped the hood, added 2 quarts of oil on top of existing, and sent me on my way.
Mostly an hour and half long will be enough for oil change service, I’m glad you checked your fluid level. With this video you can now change your own engine oil. Thanks for watching.
Filter manufacturers usually suggest tightening the filter by hand until it is snug, and then an additional three-quarters to one full turn. I was also taught to rub some clean oil around the new gasket first.

You replace the gasket for the oil drain plug? Plus I couldn’t read the test questions also they didn’t reset my oil reminder when Kia changed my oil

I understand the recommended service intervals from the manufacturer, but would a hybrid vehicle not have much less wear and tear on the engine per mile for all the time in electric mode?
Yes, PHEV can actually run the vehicle for 30+ miles without ICE help but the service interval mileage remains the same.
What is the filter part number for the 2025?

That’s a OEM oil filter wrench but you can get universal 3 jaw adjustable oil filter wrench from harbor freight.
