- I ride from Kayonza to the border between Rwanda and Tanzania.
On the way, I am surprised by an enormous thunderstorm. It rains so much that I have to seek shelter to protect myself from the rain. The nice house nearby refuses to welcome me, but the people of the poor house not far accept to open their door to me to let me wait in the dry for the end of the storm. In the house, some drenched kids start to do their school homework despite the harsh conditions... the scene is very touching.

I agree with u
We know the heart of Europeans we live with them
Look no begger can beg for a white person but they come to black people because they already know the whites' people heart
Western side is wild infact they will call the police to arrest you
Here in the west we're conditioned to have no feelings, which is good for money making but not good for mental health.
Europeans especially the French do not have genuine smiles, they smile at you just for show off/in a superficial way unlike Africans who mean it.

Rwanda has came almost from nothing to something.
From hopeless to hopeful, from adversity to progress, Rwanda has undergone a remarkable transformation. The nation has overcome immense challenges to emerge as a beacon of resilience, reconciliation, and hope for the future.
This transformation has been fueled by the collective efforts of the Rwandan people, as well as visionary leadership and a commitment to reconciliation, peace, and development. From the devastation of the 1994 genocide to the steady progress and economic growth witnessed in recent years, Rwanda's journey serves as a testament to the power of resilience, unity, and determination.
Today, Rwanda stands as a testament to what can be achieved when a nation comes together to rebuild and forge a brighter future.
Anywhere in the country "Rwandans have hope, love, kindness, courage and GOD🫡"
Hats off for your leaders

Kigali is as developed as Europe.
European countries have GDPs per capita going from $20,000 to $100,000.
If there are that many people with that much money in Kigali, and yet Rwanda has such a low GDP per capita, do you really think that people in the countryside have any money???

Just like this family welcomed you in their house, this was the case for travelers in the ancient times before the colonial era. Everyone could travel for days or even months, and at night, s/he could sleep at any closest house. The family receiving him/her had to give him/her a place to sleep, provide meals and drinks for free, share news, and make sure that s/he is at ease. Rwanda is lovely, welcoming, safe and developing. You just didn't stay long to experience all that. Hope you'll come back another day and stay long enough to enjoy more. Safari njema!
