Trevor Bassitt

Bluffton, Ohio native Trevor Bassitt wll compete in the Paris Olympic Games on Monday, August 5, 2024 in the men's 400m hurdles. I stopped in Bluffton for a quick visit and, as you can see, his hometown is all abuzz with pride. I'm told that more than 400 lawn signs have gone up around town and more are being printed to meet lots of pending requests. Bassitt is ranked No. 11 in the world with his top season time of 47.82 seconds. He also holds the distinction of being the first Olympian from Allen County, Ohio in nearly a century.
