100% agree. It's a second matrix because you don't have much of a choice between self improvement and being nobody. Society doesn't give you much choice. The nuclear family and religion are more important than people realize, a sense of community is still important even if a lot of people don't know it.
@@premedguy2378 yeah, to some degree, there's a little bit of matrix in everything. Even if you will want to escape one matrix you will end up creating another
0:08 would you consider it an epidemic or no? Including myself I have felt that at times. Also do you think it’s a lack in proper leadership or just solely on the individual
@@Journeei0 yeah, it could be considered as epidemic to some degree. I believe the core reason for that is the influence of social media. People are mindlessly following preset paths and trends. More and more people forget the importance of discovering yourself and they stop thinking for themselves. They just find a role model and follow everything that person says. That's not a way to live life. Everyone is unique, has a unique purpose and mission to fulfill. We do have great leaders, but we also need someone to remind everybody else that they are individuals with unique values, worldviews, goals, ambitions.
Andrew Tate has ruined self improvement for young men. Self improvement should be for yourself and your family, not for clout. Money and looks is not the answer. Love, health and enjoyment is the answer. Self improvement is the road, not the goal.
@@sn3ar I believe it's all about fulfillment and lobbing the life according to your purpose, so I can agree. Materialistic thing are good to have, but not necessary. They should not be the goal.
