Such great ideas, after sewing for more years than you can imagine, I believe in using all of these, but had to figure out all of them and never had a nice Swedish woman sharing them. Thank-you so much for sharing!

Thank you for the great ideas. I’m going to get glue stick ASAP. My tip is, I have 3 highball classes each one holds the same group of items: seam ripper, snips, scissors, pencil, marking pen and short ruler. These are placed, one each at ironing board, cutting table, and sewing machine. They also have silicone dots on the bottom to prevent slipping.

    PARCHMENT PAPER!
its a lifesaver for pressing fabrics you don't want to apply direct heat to from your iron! Fur, silk, polyester, if you're scared your iron will leave a mark definitely have this on hand!
I've also used it to protect small fabric pieces and points from getting eaten by my machine, doesn't work as nicely as tear away paper but it helps in a pinch!

I always make a 'ledge' using a stack of masking tape on my machine but using sticky notes is so clever!

Glue stick can use on seam allowance on thin fraying fabrics . Keeps it in shape also. But must wait for it to dry before sewing.

I always use a chopstick for turning and pushing out corners.
