Hi sir. I was so disappointed and told myself i won't pass my exam but after watching your videos and lots of practice i think I'm ready for my exam with more confidence, Thank you so much and god bless you
Hello, 8 is D. The black square moves 3 places around the perimeter every time. The striped square appears on alternate images and when it appears it has moved 6 squares around the perimeter. Therefore it would not appear in the next sequence leaving only D
q2: c - because the innermost square is smaller, not protruding to the outer shapes q3: d - because there is a black circle inside the circle q5: e - because the small shapes decreases, the inside shape alternates from black to white q6: a - because the insides are black shapes and the outsider are bigger white shapes q8: d - because of the movements of each shape. q9: e - 5 elements
q8. D - striped square pattern - it skips even figures. figure 2 & 4 dont have it, so next figure (6) will not have it. little diamond jumps forward to next box in each figure. black box rotates clockwise, skipping two boxes each time. q9. E - each figures consistently have only 5 lines. the shape made up by the 5 lines is just a distraction. little square rotates clockwise - alternating between black and white in each figure. im applying to a huge oil & gas company. wish me luck !

Dear Richard, could you check my answers please 2. C- line goes from one side of circle to the other side through the tilted square. 3. Little doubt about question 7: Rule 2 is based on the observation that the element having more angles is shaded. Now, I could have found out a different "Rule 2*": In every figure we must have a small triangle. There is no reason to prefer rule 2 to rule 2*, it's just depending on which property we find out first. This is a problem, because solution B satisfies rule 2 but not rule 2*, the other way around solution A satisfies rule 2* but not rule 2. In conclusion, I can't figure out how I should give priority to a certain rule or to the other.

Sir i think q7 is D because in every 1st shape there is a pattern like 3 sides, 4 sides, 3 sides, 4 sides then 3 sides. Just like rule 2,the highlighted shape has the most sides. So i think it is D for the first shape has 4 sides and the highlighted shape has the most sides.
Thank you for your feedback on this. Rule 1: the last shape in each figure begins the shape in the next box. So you would need the 8 sided shape to start in the next box as it ended in the last box. This leaves you with either answer B or E. Rule 2: the shape with the most sides is highlighted. In shape E the 4 sided shape is highlited and not the 8 sided shape therefore, the answer is B.
Q2) C because the middle line isn’t in the same position as the line in the question figure. Q3) D because it has a black dot which isn’t in the question fig. Q5) E because the middle shape is white, there’s 3 outer shapes and the x moved 90 Q6) A because the pattern is that the middle black shape is the same as the outer white shape, just smaller and a different colour. A fits that pattern Q8) D as every second shape has the black square rotating anticlockwise, thus eliminating options A, B and D. I chose D over C because every 2nd shape, theres no shaded square. Q9) E because the missing shape has to have a mini white square on the top left, eliminating A, B and C. I chose E over D since the middle shape always has 5 sides (lines) and D’s middle shape has 6 sides.
Q 5 answer is E. But figure inside the element after rotating clockwise has not to be in that position. Figure inside the grid has to be like in variant C

Hi ! Richard McMunn , This is about question number 7. I was wondering that there is the presence of triangle in each figure , so it becomes likely a norm then to be in the next probable figure. Can we consider option E ,as well . I may be wrong, please correct me.
Hi Richard, here is my attempt to answer them: 2. C (not sure about it) 3. D (the black dot makes it look different, if rotated) 5. E (the central figure should be white followed with 3 figures in the outer quadrants) 6. E (the figures inside are similar to the ones outside) 8. D (the black square moves clockwise at the beginning and end correspondingly. Also, the black rhombus moves in sequence to the end of the 2nd row) 9. D ( Unsure about this one. (The central figure is in the white. Then there seems to be a sequence of 5 and 6 angled shapes. Finally, a third sequence of black and white alternating squares at the top and bottom) Let's hope I got them right! :)
2=C (I looked at the overlapping corners, in C, there was a line through it) 3=D (it has a black circle where the others don't) 4=D (in 4 and 5 it shows a white triangle, so D is consistent with that) 5=E (the positions would not be repeated, and the shape has to be white, so it has to be E) 6=A (the shape in the middle is the same as the outer shape)
Q2 C. Sides of square Q3 D. Black red Q4 D. Rotation of triangle Q5 C. Square diamond and triangle Q6 B. Circle Q7 B. Rule 1- last shape in each fig begins the shape in the next box. Rule 2- The shape with the most side is highligthed Q8 D- Due to rotation Q9. E- Due to elimination
Q9 is E the small square is rotating clockwise and the color is alternating from black next is white then black and so on and the shapes at the middle only has 5 sides so the answer is E
No i think D is the correct as answer as in the middle figure lines are intersecting each other just like the other 4 figures, but in E this pattern is broken.
Q.3 is D because it has a a black circle while all the others don't Q6=A because the inner shape has to be black and the inner shape should be a smaller version of the outer shape Reply

Q2 C why? because the line center is different from others and the rotation of it is different too. Q3 D Q5 E ANTI CLOCKWISE ROTATION Q6 A SHAPES INSIDE OUT ARE SAME Q8 D. Q9 E THE SQUARES ARE ALTERNATE COLORS FROM THE BLACK TO WHITE AND EACH FIGURES HAVE THE SAME 5 SIDES
Q2: C the inside square has a diagonal, on the original the figure the inside square corner with the diagonal do not pass over the square there are in In C figure they do pass over
question 7 i got the right answer but i had different rules... for me rule number 1 the shaded shape is always different from all previous in the sequence and rule 2 the first and last shapes in the sequence are in opposite sides whilst everything else is in the middle.
Question 8 is D because each shape moves/rotates around the square in a specific pattern and where the diamond and stripes disappear, it is because they are sharing the same square.
Here's how I figured D is correct. I figured the black squares jumps over 3 spaces, the shaded squares appears in one and not the other, while the diamond shape counts forward. Might seem complicated but still got the work done.

Q9 D because 1st small box is shaded ,3rd box is shaded,4th isnt and 5th is shaded. so clearly 2nd box has to be blank small box

No i think D is the correct as answer as in the middle figure lines are intersecting each other just like the other 4 figures, but in E this pattern is broken.
Q9=e because the shape has to have 5 sides and the small square turns black then white, so the answer is E
Q2 (C), because of the line cutting the diamond shape is not in the same place
Q3 (D) the black circle in the middle
These are both right, well done :)
Q.3 is D because it has a a black circle while all the others don't

Q9 = E
Question 2=B
Sorry, Bi is not the right answer.
Q8=D, the next should not have a shaded square therefore D qualifies
Thank you for explaining this! You are correct! :)
3- D black spot in half circle
5-E
Question 8 is D because each shape moves/rotates around the square in a specific pattern and where the diamond and stripes disappear, it is because they are sharing the same square.
Here's how I figured D is correct. I figured the black squares jumps over 3 spaces, the shaded squares appears in one and not the other, while the diamond shape counts forward. Might seem complicated but still got the work done.
Q7- E is the Answer
