Was für eine TOP-Interpretation, von beiden, Solistin und dem Jungenorchester (selbstverständlich auch der Dirigentin)!! Alle Sterne nach Prag!!! What a TOP interpretation, by both the soloist and the boys' orchestra (of course also the conductor)!! All stars to Prague!!!
Why so many of these comments refer to the appearance of the soloist? What has that to do with the performance? However, a good rendition on the whole. But, the player is guilty of the modern fault of moving far too much when playing. I have noticed over the last few years almost all young musicians move in extreme ways their bodies whilst playing. Not only is this completely unnecessary but it interferes with the tone and stability of pitch. Notice when the player moves the tone is affected; not in a good way. I am a retired professional bassoon player now 78 years old and can remember when great soloists were perfectly still when performing, directing all of their energy into the musical expression without moving. For wind players the breathing and embouchure muscle control has to be unaffected by movement. Modern players are making a further difficulty to fight against.
Dear Mr. Nissen In this comment I describe one more negative consequence of the performer's movement in front of the microphones. Thank you very, very much for your contribution, really. ABSOLUTELY I agree with your opinion and I very much hope, that as many students as possible read your comment !!! Every time, if I'm recording students individually, (at the Prague Conservatory) I urge them : Not to move in front of the microphone !!! I explain to students the consequences of so-called DOPPLER EFFECT (the change in frequency of a wave in relation to an observer who is moving relative to the wave source) Important addition : In stereo recording the left and right microphones interfere with the CROSSTALK of both microphones and this to generate phenomenon so-called "FADING". (result is an unnatural sound - PHASER EFFECT) Note : I am the author of the video and soundtrack of concert. (also post-production in studio) :o) Thank you. Sincerely, Milan K.
ruclips.net/video/n86xg351B2Q/видео.html Tell Azzolini not to move :))) As recording engineer You need to find solution and adapt, specially if musicians moves doesn't affect music performance, and there are many excellent artists that move too much... in studio conditions however musician will probably make themselves not to move so much. Anyway, if too much moving affects music, than musicians needs to figure out this for themselves. This lady become through last years excellent musician and you can see on recent videos she doesn't move so much anymore.
And all from memory? Pretty dang impressive. I love the bassoon, and you did the piece justice. Nice one 🙂
Beautifully played, lovely nuances and timing, very nice sounding thicker-walled bassoon. Thank you for posting this!
So ein wundervolles Soloinstrument . Kaum ein anderes Instrument verbindet Komik und Majestät so wunderbar wie ein vom Könner gespieltes Fagott.
She gets better every time I hear and see this. So wonderful.
Such a rounded sound! Oh my God!! Such a classic execution to listen to!

Don't see terribly many compositions with a bassoon as the solo instrumentation. Interesting.

What harness is being used to support the instrument?
It looks like it's there just in case she needs it.
I was wrong; when she takes her bow you can see where it is attached to the bassoon.
🇧🇷
She is looking very close to Klaus Tunemann, but woman edition 😍👍
I think she has that thing figured out...
:))))
Здорово конечно, но кое где проскакивает стаккато не т.. а ..д а так тембр красивый у девушки .. инструмент звучит что сказать 👏👏👏👏
진짜 미인이네
Sorry,not this one..

It’s the worst version of Weber. Listen Matthias Racz 🙂
I tried. It was just boring.
