Both tip3055 and 2n3055 have same electrical characteristics.only difference is package and power dissipation capacity. Tip3055 can dissipate 90w power while 2n3055 can dissipate 115w power.you can easily find pinout of 2n3055& tip3055 in internet.you can connecte tip3055 with most heasink easily but it is little bit difficult to connect 2n3055 with heatsink.if you can get 2n3055 it is better than tip3055.
