Prince was a prolific composer, with well over hundreds of songs to his name, and other pseudonyms. He played all instruments, was an exception guitarist, and pianist. He rarely played horn instruments. On his debut album in 1978, Prince played every single instrument and sang every part by himself.

The instruments I can identify: Sheila E's peach drumkit from the Sign o the Times tour. A repainted cloud guitar, metallic blue. The white model C guitar from The Question of U video. The leopard skin guitar from a 1980 live photo. The Gretch from the Scandalous video set photo and of course his favourite Hohner Telecaster.

It sickens me that this man was a self taught guitarist who was one of the greats and racist Rollingstone magazine didn’t even mention him as one of the greatest of 100 all time guitar players! So much injustice was put on Prince during his lifetime.

C'mon man....They can give me a FEW of his instruments. He would want them to be used.
At Paisley Park, they sometimes let you hold one of the guitars but you have to wear cotton gloves.
