Even if you're gender queer and really want it done and go through the mental assessments and all the other gatekeepers. Most countries, most hospitals, most surgeons will only 'normalize' genitals and not customize for gender neutrality.

At some point body modification turns into mental illness, and I feel it is the responsibility of the person doing it to realize it is time to stop. Obviously, this is a very extreme case and I would say that everyone involved had some level of mental illness. The guy who did all my tattoos told me it was his responsibility to set limits, when the art becomes something sick. He even said that he has refused to tattoo people before because of what they wanted. When I was younger I had a very serious eating disorder and engaged in some very bad self harm. When I first met him I was still very much in a bad place, I had a feeding tube hanging from my nose and a bandaged wrist. He agreed to do the cross I have on my lower neck and upper back. He sat with me and said that he would do the stargazer lilies I wanted for my great grand parents on my forearm once I was getting help with my self harm. Both of my forearms along with my thighs had a lot of scars. He said once I made some progress he’d do my custom work, and he did 4 months later. He stopped me from making a lot of unhealthy decisions with body art. Now that I’m 38 and been in recovery for 15 years I look back and see how lucky I was that he had limits and cared about his client’s state of mind and not just throwing some ink or branding that would end up looking horrible. Clearly this man had some serious mental health issues or just got off on doing sick thinks , and the individuals who consented to this butchery were not in a safe place emotionally .

Licensed doctors in the uk have gone to jail for performing these procedures. The rationale is they were using scissors laying on rail road tracks etc to complete the task themselves. Castration of men can affect testosterone production, causing medical issues, so even if it is between consenting mentally sound people what he did could qualify as operating without a medical licence or something like that

Theres some things that you just shouldn't be allowed to do. Even if you do do it with a consenting person, limb removal isnt something you just do for entertainment, especially if you are not a licensed medical practitioner. Even with the license it still raises tons of ethical questions, like manipulating someone into removing a limb or castrating themselves for no medical just to post it on only fans, and then to have people pay for it?? The people who paid for that should be looked into too

Like with other abuse victims, we need to put down a hard line where the perpetrator has to be punished regardless of the victims feelings. Grievous bodily harm, even if consensual, is probably coming from a place the victim cant fully rationalize and therefore cannot be allowed
