    @aburashdan Who said there's no Brits left? there are plenty still living and working in HK cos China did allow British civilians to work while respecting Chinese sovereignty over HK.
    This is cos Chinese wants British to work in HK for economic reasons but does not allow British army there.

    @aburashdan You clearly have never taken any international environment YOU have worked in seriously then.
    The reason that English is still used is because this is a common second language learned amongst the world's people for communication. HK has always been built on trade and interaction, and this requires good communication- HK has always been this way, and always will be and no amount of nonsense spouted like this will ever change it.

    the brits replaced local education and language with English for commercial purposes, now there is no brit left in HK, why is still this slovenly attitude towards the old colonial masters, are you guys born slaves?
