BUY THE TECHNIQUE MANUAL. I bought it after the last video and when I paired it with taking some videos it really felt like I had a coach there with me… oh and I hit a 10kg PR. Buy it.
I can hang power snatch 75kg (~55% of my back squat 130-140kg). My powerclean from the floor sucks 90kg. What does that mean? I have bad knees. Maybe I lack glute strength. I don't know. My vertical jump is more reactive than powerful too. My goal with the only lifts is to increase my jumpsby the way.
qutting nicotine was easy, it was killing my appetite so i just replaced it with food as i needed to bulk up anyway, now been a couple months off nic and up 12kg in weight, win win :D
Hi Dozer, dumb question. I'm an ok snatcher considering I'm old, tall and skinny. Does it sound stupid that I focus on being patient during my pull and think of my catch and feet moving in a flash in the last moment?? For me it's easier to snap my wrists and feet at the same time. My problem is I drop so fast I catch the bar rather than punch up the bar. I just lockout and pray. I guess that means I'm loosing my connection with the bar.. I really don't know, but sounds like a good excuse/bad habit. Glad you're trying hard to quit the nic! Congrats at being willing to suffer. Most difficult things usually do require suffering to some degree. Stay proud and stay strong!❤
May sound like a stupid question because your technique manual is a document. But are there links to short videos to accompany the cues? I bought a Torokhtiy guide one time and while his is also a document, it included private links that allowed you to get a real time visual of his cues in addition to his images. I love all your tip videos, so just switching to purely writing sounds like it might be a bit difficult, but maybe not!
Listening to the Coopster g or snatch cues is like hearing someone say 2+2=6 with conviction. They just don’t make any sense. Can’t even demonstrate the first pull with good weight balance, why should we believe the rest?
