@@andrew-nl9tg halal food is food which didn’t contain any prohibited materials or substances from pig and other prohibited animals in Islam. Meanwhile Halal meat means the meat that come from the animals which is executed with the word “Bismillah” which mean “in the name of Allah” . Halal meat also means the meat must not come from corpse(Died first before they executed it with Basmallah) . Wallahualam....
I'm from Lebanon, I have eaten falafel in one of the best restaurants in Lebanon and even my mother makes way better falafel than the ones made in Adonis in Ottawa Ontario Canada. They need Lebanese professionals in falafel making in the Adonis superstore if they are to satisfy not just Lebanese people but people of all kinds... there's a secret recipe in making the falafel and everything needs to be fresh, prepared, and cooked accordingly to satisfy one's tastebuds of true Lebanese cuisine! My experience with Adonis falafel was horrible, hope they improve in that area...

I've been going to Adonis since the 80s on lacadie bvld in montreal no doubt it's a good chain of grocery store but be careful they cheat with price per pound and they make a mistake with price they never want to respect the law about it,and the sad part they only hired staff from middle east even if lots of customers are local french quebecers,sad but true,for the rest the service is good.
