Sir, wonderful efforts. Have you released some apple varieties suitable for growing in hot climates with mild winters and hot summers towards the end of May and mid June max. temp. touching 37-38 degrees Celcius. Winter chilling in the range of some 300 or so in my location specific conditions in India. This is an area where lichi shows tremendous potential and I do have some 25 plants, but lichi is very slow growing and then least shelf life. The fruits loose its lustre immediately, whereas apples do have above traits. Thanks a lot Sir for some response. There are frosts
in Feb. which is growing period here as the buds of my sand pears grafted on wild Kainths growing in abundance starts bursting. Welcome and regards. However, various sources in the US have advised me to try low chill apples like Anna, Golden Dorsett and edge of nowhere also suggested the tropic sweet and someone from Texas and others like Dave Wilson and kufeel Creek suggests sundowner, winter banana and yellow transparent etc.
