- After checking out of the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac Hotel in the old walled city of Quebec, I decided to take the Tesla Model Y for a ride up to visit the famous ICE Hotel de Glace. The only ICE Hotel in all of North America, I just had to check it out. And what I found truly amazed me. I hope you enjoy this somewhat unconventional Out Of Spec Dave Video!

Thanks for the video, Dave. As a Quebec City resident and Tesla owner, I really enjoyed this one as well as your previous video detailing your road trip from Connecticut to Quebec. I was surprised to see a Cybertruck carved in the wall of the Hotel de Glace.

Hi Dave, Wonderfull Travel tour of The Ice Hotel in Quebec CA. Every time I see a Cybertruck it makes me think it was inspired by the Galileo Shuttlecraft from Star Trek - The Original Show (TOS) from the 1960’s.

Also. there’s a company in Quecec, Ma Capuche, that makes charging port covers for EVs to protect them from snow/rain in the winter while charging outdoors. Was going to get one when I was buying a Boly but ended up with a Tesla and, the port cover on the car seems to protect it just fine. But worth mentioning as a Quebec EV tie in.
Never saw an insulated porta-potty before. Was it heated?
I've seen the Ice Castle in Yellowknife out on the lake, it was pretty awesome. This one is clearly bigger, they have some awesome artwork in there.

I really don't mind being tourist trapped every now and then when me and my wife go out on our road trips cross Europe and Scandinavia. You often get the local greatest hits from the "tourists traps".
