Mike I absolutely love seeing these old trucks, we have a guy here in central Maine that’s buying them up and putting them on display by the main rd, each on its own flat gravel pile. These old trucks are absolutely amazing pieces of machinery and we must try to preserve them as best we can!!
Mike, do not let that A model get away! Same goes for the big dump KW! You could sell the big dump box and probably cover the cost of buying the truck! They would make great additions to your fleet! You know you want the two KW's!

I used to drive an old White Compact just like it, had a straight 6 speed transmission the gears would fall in by themselves and sometimes pop out. Hauled oil drums on a stake body my ears would ring after driving it all day.
We are on a road trip right now. Vancouver to Golden, down to Fernie, Whitefish, MT, Bonners Ferry, ID so far. Lots and lots of truck graveyards beside the highways. Thinking of what you could do with some of them 😂
Blocks of wood in the chassis in to stop the u bolts holding the body down the wood stops the chassis from crushing when tight ing the bolts yes lot of smaller trucks had a tailshaft hand brake on then .
These old trucks have soles 50 years from now you'll not see today's trucks still running and driving. I'm like you I can't see a old truck and not stop and look at it. We used to them old kw's kidney whipers

That WHITE truck would be amazing as a flatbed wrecker. Beef up that frame and put a flatbed on it and it would be cool to go haul peoples broke down cars.
Come on, Mike You gotta save that Kenworth. That one could be turned into Snowmans truck from Smokey and the Bandit. Sell Duke and fix that Kenworth truck.
