The log shows access was granted multiple times over the span of hundreds of years, using the same pairs of eyes. Either the eyes belonged to the early Guardians, or something kept them preserved."

This would make the energy type that the Valkyries use Seraph Energy. Everything on Mars from Rasputin to the EP towers and the Warsats uses Seraph energy. On a related note, Seraph Energy is very powerful as we see Rasputin bombarding the taken infested shard of the Traveler on that mission in Warmind and successfully removing the Sterile Neutrinos and we technically use it to shart on Xol and any Ogre that shows up on Public Events and any boss from EP Round 7. Seeing all this come full circle FINALLY after so long makes me extremely excited.
My personal theory goes back to the concept art and old story threads where they were going to have Rasputin trapped inside the body of an Exo. Never got used, obviously. But what if those seven chairs in the secret D1 room were for seven Exo bodies that Rasputin could inhabit? invest himself in? Physical independent sub-copies like Osiris's echoes that Rasputin could then send out into the world when direct physical contact was needed.
The new story about Felwinter makes me wonder if he had some deep dealings with Rasputin along those lines. He was ready to kill Timur just for seeming to go down the thought track that he/exos were tied to the Warmind.

All/most IKELOS weapons have the perk, “Seraph Rounds”, which is basically better Ricochet Rounds. This could’ve been made by Rasputin or the Seraphs to use in their guns, which were probably IKELOS weaponry.
You know this would explain why were awaken just outside of our vehice at the gate of the Cosmodrome. We were trying to get back to the Seraphim Vault because we are the Seventh Seraph of this organization. We died trying to get back in because the traffic choked the gate when the Pyramid ship unleashed it's weapons on the region. Were ghost found us now makes alot more sense.

I'm thinking that, finally, there is a plot point to include Exo guardian characters. Human characters are tied to the Vanguard. Awoken have allegiance to Mara Sov/The reef, and now Exo's will have ties to Rasputin. So, if your character IS an Exo, they will be the 7th Seraph of Rasputin. Either Rasputin helped Clovis Bray 'perfect' the Exo creation, or he learned how to manipulate the 'deep stone crypt' to his own ends. I've always had a theory that Rasputin operates through the Exo, whether blatant or obfuscated. It could als partially explain Banshee's ability to improvise the Sleeper Simulant.
I'm always pumped when there's new story but when it's something like rasputin...... well that's got me over the moon excited!! This part of the lore is my favorite! What if we were the 7th Bray family member? Now that would make an interesting story arc, digging into our own origins. Would explain why the Exo Stranger was watching us - she's our sister. Would explain why we have such a rapport with Ana - she's our sister. Would explain why Rasputin seems to "trust" us - he's sort of family. Would explain why we find ourselves constantly the centre of the action - we're cleaning up the mess our family created.
imho, the seventh seraph probably wasnt chosen yet ( see the one chair in the secret room that is kind of extended ). Furthermore I believe that the seventh seraph could very well be us, with Rararasputin asking us to become his seventh seraph, alongside the six brays, similar to how Callious wants us to be his shadow. Regarding the usage of the word seraph in general, I believe that everything related to seraph ( weapons, armor, structures ) is something Rararasputin uses to empower / protect the ones under his so called "protection" , as he has stated that he is "Rasputin, guardian of all I survey" and also that he will defend humanity. So the seventh seraph weapons are/ were meant to empower the seventh seraph, which would be us, and the ikelos weapons being either meant to belong to other seraphs or were meant to be used by all seraphs. I also believe that Rararasputin might indeed be able to grant some sort of immortality, maybe even using the seraphs in a similar way that the traveler uses us guardians. I havent played rise of iron, but as far as I was told, the deceased iron lords were brought back somewhat by Siva, so its not entirely unlikely Rararasputin can do something similar to this. Some commenters said that Rararasputin, lover of the russian Queen, might have a god complex, which I belive to be 100% the case. In the ending cutscene from Warmind, he told us himself that he thinks of himself to be above all else and without equal.
I just thought about this, just randomly. Imagine Rasputin getting taken, his orange glow slowy turning back and blue while his mighty voice gets distorted and warped. Idk why but i love that idea. Most likely never going to happen but itd be genius of Savathun to somehow trick us into rebuilding Rasputin just to take them as a weapon against us.
As far as I understand only things with a will can be taken. Which is why the vex can because they more or less are cyborgs given that one mind does have a will and the rest follow. We saw an odd strain of vex who actually took part in worship when we killed the heart of the black garden. I'm pretty sure Rasputin doesn't have a will just his protocols but even if he could I imagine since he's powerful enough to take on xol and possibly the traveler then it may not even be possible from the standpoint of Rasputin being too powerful.

I think Seraph energy is actually a type of energy that rasputin can create, rather than something that was discovered. Its seen nowhere except for weapons that are created by rasputin, and then also seraphite. Seraphite is also only found near Rasputin, which leads me to believe he almost radiates seraph energy, and with him being in that area for so long, it has seeped into everything there, empowering the relic iron
Going with that theory of the seven seraphs are 7 soldiers that Rasputin essentially created and the season of the worthy armor set is called the seventh seraph, AND we get to go with the felwinter storyline and lore from that what if... hear me out, felwinter is the seventh. Its been a few days since I learned about the felwinter and rasputin story but from what I understood was that rasputin was repeatedly trying to kill felwinter for some reason which I can't remember if it was stated. But speculating on that maybe, rapsutin had previously killed 6 seraphs at a time before our guardian's storyline begins. That last chair in the secret room in destiny 1 would represent one seraph is still alive which would be felwinter. Also since they seem to have a connection that could in some way imply that maybe rasputin did enhance felwinter to be this super soldier in disguise and thats how they have the connection. Its a bit all over the place but I kept thinking about that during the videos putting the pieces together Edit: Im actually convinced now that I read another comment that had the dialogue from 2 scannables in D1. That second dialogue piece I think reaffirms the idea that there is someone that can control rasputin besides the bray family. And I may be going down a rabbit hole but I think that helps the argument of the seven seraphs being soldiers that can connect to rasputin, In which I think they would have to exo to have that connection to rasputin and Exo's from what I know can't die of natural causes they have to be killed in some way. Felwinter is an exo. Sorry for anyone that reads this and has gone into the hole I'm currently living in.

I’m doubtful (but hopeful) that we’ll get much lore on other Warminds during a Cabal/Rasputin-themed season. A lot of these ancient Seraph name drops seem very much subject to change (especially the passing the remark during the ride along), so I thought I’d just offer my two cents: I don’t think the new artefact is referring to a new Warmind, I think it’s a weapon created by Rasputin and the word Khanjali is a Russian double edge sword, which is quite literal in this sense I think. Now for some speculation: Rasputin is the seventh seraph! What if there are a network of six other Minds throughout the system that serve other purposes... other [prefix]minds - Seraph could be another word for Submind, maybe a self-appointed title because there’s a lot of themes of godhood in ol’ Raspy’s arsenal. It’s a bit far fetched but wouldn’t it be cool if Rasputin and Charlemagne were among 5 other previously unheard of Seraphs?
This is something I've been thinking about since Darkside Royalty Lores' video on Cortana and how Rampancy was killing or corrupting her, and how Exo's went through a memory wipe and started suffering similar things to Cortana, like how Banshee is unable to remember certain things. Is it possible that Rasputin is suffering something similar to Rampancy? His memory and morality degradation might not be as bad as Cortanas', but it could be much worse than that of an Exo like Cayde-6 or even Banshee-44. And just looking at the purposes of both Cortana and Rasputin, they have similar goals. Save humanity, and both have very extreme methods of doing so. Both Halo and Destiny are made by Bungie, so it could be entirely possible.
Wild guess but maybe seraph energy and the seraphs are different things. I think the 7 seraphs are 7 forms of defense that Rasputin determined it needed to have to be able to prevail over whatever enemy it determined it would be facing, and we are potentially the final piece it needs. We just need to prove that we are worthy of being called the 7th seraph.
It seems unlikely that the seraphs are Rasputin’s defenses. The way Saladin describes them is more like an army than a certain number of individuals. I think that the seraphs possibly are still part of Rasputin’s creation - I think they created his neural net, which is made up of “seraph energy.” I think it’s also entirely possible that the “seven seraphs” do correspond to seven seraphs, but seven subminds around the system. Consider: we’re getting two seraph bunkers that we know of on the moon and in the EDZ, and we know that earth is part of Rasputin’s primary domain, evidenced by his activity throughout both games on them. But what about Io? Because we’re also getting a bunker there. I believe that the Warmind complexes on Io were or are under the command of a sub mind called “Joyeuse.” Javelin 4, one of these complexes, is given the sub-title “LAUNCH PLATFORM JYS2.” Plus, in real life Joyeuse was the famed sword of Charlemagne, king of France, who was the namesake of the submind of Mars Charlemagne, the same planet Rasputin is housed on. So with this “evidence,” the fact that we have a “seraph bunker” where a submind of Rasputin was housed, suggests they had a deeper connection to Rasputin’s entire network.

After watching your other video about Felwinter and how he's actually Rasputin trying to experience what humans experience I think I just might've just figured out who the seventh seraph is, and if that's correct if Felwinter is the seventh seraph as in the seventh one to be woken up as rasputin and experience life, that could mean there are more exos out there that are actually a part of rasputin, for example Cayde-6. Or were alive at one point. Also why name it seraph, could it be related to the seven heavenly virtues which are opposite of the seven deadly sins, meaning Rasputin gave them in a sense a certain personality as to be able to experience the most possible outcomes
Assuming the seraphs are Rasputin's sort of defense, and we aid him in the new season, what if the armor set indicates that we are the newest member of his defense?
What if warminds are the new enemy? Like the vex? So, the guardians collect 'warminds' and utilize them as a hoe for...Currency aka charge for rasputin, and at the end, rasputin becomes a boss that the guardians have to defeat by the end of the season or at the start of the next as they introduce a new enemy to face, the warminds. So, the warminds in the end wish to be saved from rasputin and granted amnesty to live among guardians, zavala disagrees emphatically and gives them the boot, so afterwards they become part of gambit as the drifter cares not for da rules...But behind all this, another plot comes in...You can choose to serve the warmind yourself and totally enslave the warminds as a seraph army. And in so doing you unlock a different raid for yourself and clan...One that is a lot tougher.
The way he talks about all this makes me think WE (our guardian) will become the 7th seraph like a protector of ally to Rasputin. "Seraph" may also be next seasons new title seal...
The number of these Seraphim also lines up with Jewish tradition. In Jewish history, they have names: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Jeremiel, Raguel, Zerachiel and Remiel. We also know that Lucifer was once included among them, but lost his rank and position when he sinned and was thrown down to earth.

So just like every enemy in Destiny then. Don't believe me? Count the number of uniquely named enemies that aren't just a pre-existing enemy but with a bigger health pool and a new skin. It's basically just some of the raid bosses and a couple of strike bosses. Nothing wrong with recycling content, that's just efficient game development and new content is harder and more costly to make, but it does kill my excitement when a new enemy is revealed and my immediate thought isn't "what cool new thing will this do?" and is instead "Which enemy's getting the reskin today?"

This would make the energy type that the Valkyries use Seraph Energy. Everything on Mars from Rasputin to the EP towers and the Warsats uses Seraph energy.
On a related note, Seraph Energy is very powerful as we see Rasputin bombarding the taken infested shard of the Traveler on that mission in Warmind and successfully removing the Sterile Neutrinos and we technically use it to shart on Xol and any Ogre that shows up on Public Events and any boss from EP Round 7.
Seeing all this come full circle FINALLY after so long makes me extremely excited.

My personal theory goes back to the concept art and old story threads where they were going to have Rasputin trapped inside the body of an Exo. Never got used, obviously. But what if those seven chairs in the secret D1 room were for seven Exo bodies that Rasputin could inhabit? invest himself in? Physical independent sub-copies like Osiris's echoes that Rasputin could then send out into the world when direct physical contact was needed.
The new story about Felwinter makes me wonder if he had some deep dealings with Rasputin along those lines. He was ready to kill Timur just for seeming to go down the thought track that he/exos were tied to the Warmind.

You know this would explain why were awaken just outside of our vehice at the gate of the Cosmodrome. We were trying to get back to the Seraphim Vault because we are the Seventh Seraph of this organization. I'm thinking that, finally, there is a plot point to include Exo guardian characters. Human characters are tied to the Vanguard. Awoken have allegiance to Mara Sov/The reef, and now Exo's will have ties to Rasputin. So, if your character IS an Exo, they will be the 7th Seraph of Rasputin. Either Rasputin helped Clovis Bray 'perfect' the Exo creation, or he learned how to manipulate the 'deep stone crypt' to his own ends.
I've always had a theory that Rasputin operates through the Exo, whether blatant or obfuscated. It could als partially explain Banshee's ability to improvise the Sleeper Simulant.

What if we were the 7th Bray family member? Now that would make an interesting story arc, digging into our own origins. Would explain why the Exo Stranger was watching us - she's our sister. Would explain why we have such a rapport with Ana - she's our sister. Would explain why Rasputin seems to "trust" us - he's sort of family. Would explain why we find ourselves constantly the centre of the action - we're cleaning up the mess our family created.
imho, the seventh seraph probably wasnt chosen yet ( see the one chair in the secret room that is kind of extended ). Furthermore I believe that the seventh seraph could very well be us, with Rararasputin asking us to become his seventh seraph, alongside the six brays, similar to how Callious wants us to be his shadow. Regarding the usage of the word seraph in general, I believe that everything related to seraph ( weapons, armor, structures ) is something Rararasputin uses to empower / protect the ones under his so called "protection" , as he has stated that he is "Rasputin, guardian of all I survey" and also that he will defend humanity. So the seventh seraph weapons are/ were meant to empower the seventh seraph, which would be us, and the ikelos weapons being either meant to belong to other seraphs or were meant to be used by all seraphs.
I also believe that Rararasputin might indeed be able to grant some sort of immortality, maybe even using the seraphs in a similar way that the traveler uses us guardians. I havent played rise of iron, but as far as I was told, the deceased iron lords were brought back somewhat by Siva, so its not entirely unlikely Rararasputin can do something similar to this. Some commenters said that Rararasputin, lover of the russian Queen, might have a god complex, which I belive to be 100% the case. In the ending cutscene from Warmind, he told us himself that he thinks of himself to be above all else and without equal.

Idk why but i love that idea. Most likely never going to happen but itd be genius of Savathun to somehow trick us into rebuilding Rasputin just to take them as a weapon against us.
As far as I understand only things with a will can be taken. Which is why the vex can because they more or less are cyborgs given that one mind does have a will and the rest follow. We saw an odd strain of vex who actually took part in worship when we killed the heart of the black garden. I'm pretty sure Rasputin doesn't have a will just his protocols but even if he could I imagine since he's powerful enough to take on xol and possibly the traveler then it may not even be possible from the standpoint of Rasputin being too powerful.

I think Seraph energy is actually a type of energy that rasputin can create, rather than something that was discovered. Its seen nowhere except for weapons that are created by rasputin, and then also seraphite. Seraphite is also only found near Rasputin, which leads me to believe he almost radiates seraph energy, and with him being in that area for so long, it has seeped into everything there, empowering the relic iron

Going with that theory of the seven seraphs are 7 soldiers that Rasputin essentially created and the season of the worthy armor set is called the seventh seraph, AND we get to go with the felwinter storyline and lore from that what if... hear me out, felwinter is the seventh. Its been a few days since I learned about the felwinter and rasputin story but from what I understood was that rasputin was repeatedly trying to kill felwinter for some reason which I can't remember if it was stated. But speculating on that maybe, rapsutin had previously killed 6 seraphs at a time before our guardian's storyline begins. That last chair in the secret room in destiny 1 would represent one seraph is still alive which would be felwinter. Also since they seem to have a connection that could in some way imply that maybe rasputin did enhance felwinter to be this super soldier in disguise and thats how they have the connection.
Its a bit all over the place but I kept thinking about that during the videos putting the pieces together

That one could connect to the theory of the seven seraphs being soldiers that are connected to rasputin in some way and potentially have the ability to control certain aspects of rasputin possibly including the ability to restart or boot him up after the collapse.

That second dialogue piece I think reaffirms the idea that there is someone that can control rasputin besides the bray family. And I may be going down a rabbit hole but I think that helps the argument of the seven seraphs being soldiers that can connect to rasputin, In which I think they would have to exo to have that connection to rasputin and Exo's from what I know can't die of natural causes they have to be killed in some way. Felwinter is an exo.

I’m doubtful (but hopeful) that we’ll get much lore on other Warminds during a Cabal/Rasputin-themed season. A lot of these ancient Seraph name drops seem very much subject to change (especially the passing the remark during the ride along), so I thought I’d just offer my two cents: I don’t think the new artefact is referring to a new Warmind, I think it’s a weapon created by Rasputin and the word Khanjali is a Russian double edge sword, which is quite literal in this sense I think. Now for some speculation: Rasputin is the seventh seraph! What if there are a network of six other Minds throughout the system that serve other purposes... other [prefix]minds - Seraph could be another word for Submind, maybe a self-appointed title because there’s a lot of themes of godhood in ol’ Raspy’s arsenal. It’s a bit far fetched but wouldn’t it be cool if Rasputin and Charlemagne were among 5 other previously unheard of Seraphs?

This is something I've been thinking about since Darkside Royalty Lores' video on Cortana and how Rampancy was killing or corrupting her, and how Exo's went through a memory wipe and started suffering similar things to Cortana, like how Banshee is unable to remember certain things. Is it possible that Rasputin is suffering something similar to Rampancy? His memory and morality degradation might not be as bad as Cortanas', but it could be much worse than that of an Exo like Cayde-6 or even Banshee-44. And just looking at the purposes of both Cortana and Rasputin, they have similar goals. Save humanity, and both have very extreme methods of doing so. Both Halo and Destiny are made by Bungie, so it could be entirely possible.

Wild guess but maybe seraph energy and the seraphs are different things. I think the 7 seraphs are 7 forms of defense that Rasputin determined it needed to have to be able to prevail over whatever enemy it determined it would be facing, and we are potentially the final piece it needs. We just need to prove that we are worthy of being called the 7th seraph.

It seems unlikely that the seraphs are Rasputin’s defenses. The way Saladin describes them is more like an army than a certain number of individuals. I think that the seraphs possibly are still part of Rasputin’s creation - I think they created his neural net, which is made up of “seraph energy.” I think it’s also entirely possible that the “seven seraphs” do correspond to seven seraphs, but seven subminds around the system. Consider: we’re getting two seraph bunkers that we know of on the moon and in the EDZ, and we know that earth is part of Rasputin’s primary domain, evidenced by his activity throughout both games on them. But what about Io? Because we’re also getting a bunker there. I believe that the Warmind complexes on Io were or are under the command of a sub mind called “Joyeuse.” Javelin 4, one of these complexes, is given the sub-title “LAUNCH PLATFORM JYS2.” Plus, in real life Joyeuse was the famed sword of Charlemagne, king of France, who was the namesake of the submind of Mars Charlemagne, the same planet Rasputin is housed on. So with this “evidence,” the fact that we have a “seraph bunker” where a submind of Rasputin was housed, suggests they had a deeper connection to Rasputin’s entire network.

After watching your other video about Felwinter and how he's actually Rasputin trying to experience what humans experience I think I just might've just figured out who the seventh seraph is, and if that's correct if Felwinter is the seventh seraph as in the seventh one to be woken up as rasputin and experience life, that could mean there are more exos out there that are actually a part of rasputin, for example Cayde-6. Or were alive at one point. Also why name it seraph, could it be related to the seven heavenly virtues which are opposite of the seven deadly sins, meaning Rasputin gave them in a sense a certain personality as to be able to experience the most possible outcomes

What if warminds are the new enemy? Like the vex? So, the guardians collect 'warminds' and utilize them as a hoe for...Currency aka charge for rasputin, and at the end, rasputin becomes a boss that the guardians have to defeat by the end of the season or at the start of the next as they introduce a new enemy to face, the warminds.
So, the warminds in the end wish to be saved from rasputin and granted amnesty to live among guardians, zavala disagrees emphatically and gives them the boot, so afterwards they become part of gambit as the drifter cares not for da rules...But behind all this, another plot comes in...You can choose to serve the warmind yourself and totally enslave the warminds as a seraph army.
And in so doing you unlock a different raid for yourself and clan...One that is a lot tougher.
The way he talks about all this makes me think WE (our guardian) will become the 7th seraph like a protector of ally to Rasputin. "Seraph" may also be next seasons new title seal...

The number of these Seraphim also lines up with Jewish tradition. In Jewish history, they have names: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Jeremiel, Raguel, Zerachiel and Remiel. We also know that Lucifer was once included among them, but lost his rank and position when he sinned and was thrown down to earth.

So just like every enemy in Destiny then. Don't believe me? Count the number of uniquely named enemies that aren't just a pre-existing enemy but with a bigger health pool and a new skin. It's basically just some of the raid bosses and a couple of strike bosses. Nothing wrong with recycling content, that's just efficient game development and new content is harder and more costly to make, but it does kill my excitement when a new enemy is revealed and my immediate thought isn't "what cool new thing will this do?" and is instead "Which enemy's getting the reskin today?"
