A quick update because many of you asked (and also dont follow me on twitter). Phd presentation went really well last week. I had to deliver the presentation to the university online.... so I was completely in my element! lol. For those asking, my Phd is about developing and evaluating computer coding clubs for kids with autism. I designed a program which is strength-based, meaning, we look at what people can do rather than what they can't do. I now have about 6 months to finishing writing my journal articles and I will be FREEE! Because I have more freedom when writing, you should see plenty of livestreams (even if they are just short). I cant stream on twitch today because the site seems down. Hope you all well, and enjoy the Destiny lore video!

I remember a lore entry where felwinters ghost says felwinter is half warmind, another reason she forced felwinter to take the name of Felwinter, I don't remember where I saw it but it was definitely in season of the worthy, I believe it was in a armor lore tab or somthing, don't remember
Frankly at this point we've gotten enough hints to asume thats whats gonna happen, same with uldren being the hunter vanguard, the only way that isnt the case is if this is a redherring, in which case, its still gonna be a part of that plotline because its purposeful misdirection
There’s an entry I read somewhere with felwinter and timur, timur was talking to felwinter saying he knows that felwinter has rasputins mind in his head. This would explain what he was running from, presumably rasputin trying to get part of his mind back.
Dude, awesome entry! Anytime I lose my desire to grind, and end up taking a break from the game, it’s your lore videos that tend to draw me back in again. Downloading the recent update as I type this lol. Also congrats on the successful PhD progress, my daughter is on the spectrum, thankfully she had very patient teachers, who were focused on teaching individuals, rather than teaching ‘at a room’ sadly that seems more the exception, than the rule, more often than not, so the more that can be done to provide systems, and/or resources, that help reduce the many barriers to learning, the better.
I hope you thoroughly explore Rasputin related stuff before the next season because by then we’ll probably be busy with all Darkness related lore. Question: can Red’s mind fit in an exo? I thought Rasputin’s core was so big because they needed that much hardware to have a mind that smart and capable.
Think more in terms of (DER) It would have to have it's identity, but not wholly Rasputin. I imagine rasputin like a streaming subconscious into the mind of this EXO.
Based on this Lore entry and previous lore entries you covered. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that one of "copies" of Rasputin is.....FELWINTER. His shaky past not to mention some of the things uncovered in recent lore just ponts him towards being lord Felwinter. Also remember the orignal Destiny story had rasputin in the form of an EXO? Just a theory though.
I haven’t read the leaks, but my theory is that Rasputin ‘wins’ against the Almighty or the Darkness but it destroys him and we need to seek the Deep Stone Crypt to place him into an Exo. Felwinter is Clovis Bray, he’s the ‘guy’ for Enceladus. Mithrax awakens the Traveller and becomes Speaker. The Traveller’s light holds the pyramids at bay near Titan.
1. Traveler is already awakened at the end of the Red War in response to Ghaul stealing its Light. 2. Highly doubt Rasputin will get damaged as his mind is located primarily on Mars with other submind networks around the Sol System. 3. Highly doubt Rasputin will be abled to hold back the Darkness ships as it shut down most of his systems and fragmented his mind, being abeld to withstand most of Rasputin's WMD armaments with little trouble which led to the Ikelos prototypes, and the activation of SIVA as a weapon rather than its original purpose of fast colony construction and terraforming of inhospitable worlds not touched by the Traveler's light. 4. The Almighty is a joke, the Red Legion is a joke. The only interesting part of the Cabal storyline anymore is Calus and learning the truth with him and the Leviathan and either putting him down or having him as an ally. The Almighty storyline Bungo introduced is just disappointing and lazy and really got swept under the rug even by Bungie with the introduction of the Pyramid Ships. Rasputin obviously doesn't consider the Almighty a threat as its not even on the doomsday wall unlike the Pyramid Ships. 5. Felwinter is Clovis Bray? Seriously?.... Drifter x Zavala being shipped together seem to make more sense than that half baked theory with nothing baking it like the rest of your theorys. 6. The Deep Stone Crypt most likely will not make an appearance. As Bungo is rushing the final confrontation with the Darkness. 7. Enceladus is a Moon of Saturn. So what you said about it makes no sense. 8. Mithrax is highly unlikely to become speaker as that makes no sense to begin with. Relations with Fallen is tense at best especially after the whole Scorn debacle and I highly doubt the corrupt government of the last city and tower will have any interest in interspecies relations when they have an isolationist political and tactical view. Mithrax would be better for settling the Fallen storyline, will they revert back into the old houses seeking golden age tech and living like pirates, will Elksni establish themselves under one banner to start over and return to their roots and culture before their escape from the Darkness with Variks the new Kell of Kells, will they side with Mithrax who seeks peace and coexistence between Humanity/Guardians and the Elksni and willing to drop their pursuit for stealing the Traveler back, will they side with Spider and conform to Humanity's culture and history rather than their own and work for Ether, or will the Elksni truly fall and give in to Fikrul becoming no more than mindless puppets of the Scorn.... Thats if Bungo even decides to tie up the Fallen storyline just like the forgotten Dreaming City and Savathun storyline. 9. The Darkness was theorized in lore to actually be a byproduct of light. Where there is Light there will always be itd opposite. Which is why Vex for example seek an empty world without light or dark so that there is nothing they cannot replicate or understand. But the Traveler was theorized by Osiris to be the main cause of the collapse and possible source of the Darkness that it itself is a form of the Darkness, like the pull of gravity from the moon making waves for example. 10. The only thing you said that might make sense for allowing Bungo to drag out content and tie up loose end before the climax with the Pyramid Ships is the Traveler holding them at bay. Giving Guardians and the rest of humanity time to better prepare. But your info and theories are heavily unsupported and even shot down by lore in game for years not just the recent leaks.
Great work, myelin. This explains rasputins obsession with felwinter. I had a feeling felwinter was rasputin or a clone of him before the traveler revived him. Before this video I found myself contemplating on how the holy trinity works and what if rasputin had created exos so he could reach places he couldn't access himself as a warmind and here we are now.
she's been confirmed to be Elsie Bray, but I don't know if it's the Brays of this timeline. She seemed to be really connected with the Vex, and apparently able to access their time travel network, so she could have come from anywhere/where. I think they've written her out of the story though. Don't look for too much from her going forward.
As there's been speculation whether or not Rasputin is actually good or evil, what if it ends up that 'big red' was corrupted by the darkness but they managed to download (clone) him in to an exo (Fellwinter). Then this being the reason Fellwinter in on the run/in hiding as he's the actual Rasputin (good/normal version) and 'big red' on Mars is actually a darkness controlled machine trying to kill him? Could make sense with all the lore about Fellwinter being so shifty and secretive and also why it seemed like Fellwinter was looking for bunkers, maybe looking for this secret one?
And this brings us back full circe to Caybe-6 being Rasputin ... So what if "Ace" is the OG Rasputin and Ace is in refrence to him being humanity's "Ace in the hole"

And one of the guys I was talking to asked this conspiracy question that threw me off and I was wondering what you'd think about it. the conspiracy was this, Cayde-6 is actually a sub mind of Rasputin.
DragonKnight90001 His son (who he knows only as Ace) and his wife (Queen of Hearts) are from his life before being converted into an exo. He keeps playing cards with him as a method of remembering who they are.
Said Pinto we don’t know if his family is real, in lore he mentioned that the journal he carries might be something his past numbers (cayde 1-6) might have made from keeping him going evil
I was full on expecting some sort of speculation around this alternative Exo mind being Cayde. I listened to the DDU podcast and I got the impression Caydes body was brought to this instillation to be uploaded with the alternative mind. But then I don’t think that theory lines up with the timeline, if the secret Clovis Bray bunker was broken into during the golden age then that would likely be before Cayde was even around... I’m so hyped to see where this story goes
I think we are going to learn more about Rasputin's past. We know he was created by Dr. M. Mihaylova for the Ares One mission, the mission where he was the ships AI taking with him the first three humans to meet the Traveler, aka moon X. As well as operation catamaran, which those details are still unknown.
The exo's being referred to are still the seventh seraph officers felwinter was before he became gurdian / iron lord. Rasputin had the power to control them. They were his puppets. It's also why Felwinter was paranoid, and knew the locations of the bunkers. Perhaps he is even responisble for SIVA killing his fellow iron lords.

I'm fuzzy on the D1 details... Didn't the Vanilla campaign start off by "freeing" Rasputin from the Cosmodrome so that he could reconnect to the Sol network? Is it possible that they activated the Warmind partitioning process thinking that Rasputin was going rogue in response to the collapse and then we feed a fragment of him in D1? Could explain the seeming memory loss and lack of access to all facilities.

Maybe this has already been asked, but what if the copy of Rasputin that was put into an Exo, what if that is the commander of the Darkness? We all know that Rasputin was online when the Collapse happened. If the entry reads as a Rogue Mind, what if the station Ana was at has sealed records of the rogue Rasputin turning against humanity?
Kinda screams Felwinter. It would also explain why we didn’t fight Felwinters corpse when we attacked the Siva bunker in rise of iron with the other iron lords.
Just thinking here and I didn't see any other comments about it...but what if it was Cayde? Before judgement here me out: 1) There is an old lore entry or quest dialog (can't remember which) from D1 where someone talks about Cayde claiming/being called Rasputin 2) There are some mysteries that Cayde had access to and knowledge of that apparently Ana Bray does not (Deepstone Crypt for example) 3) There is the prevailing theory that Cayde picked the number 6 but could have either had far more resets or a completely different backstory to everything he mentioned about a family and Ace

I wouldn’t be surprised if the exo that was 100% compatible for rasputin was felwinter, Cayde, Banshee or some other notable exo to the story. Even if they were unaware
What if the Rasputin that we all know since D1 is actually the clone? And the original Rasputin went rogue and was therefore imprisoned inside of an exo?
I agree with many of the other commenters, I think Fellwinter is one of these clones of Rasputin revived as a guardian. Perhaps those dead exos were normal clones that Fellwinter killed to hide his identity.
Now what if all the exos where Rasputin clones and the AI decided that it couldn't let Rasputin leave with to many clones of him self so it killed most of them except one ?

Seeing some people say it’s Felwinter, and one or two say it’s Elsie. I’ll make a small case for both. Felwinter : Okay so we know for a fact that the Exo shell we associate with the name Felwinter is buried in the SIVA Replication Chamber. As far as we know, Felwinter COULD be dead. Now if this theory about him being Rasputin is true, then as of now, he is without a body. Felwinter(if this is true) is not like any other Guardian or Exo ever seen before. If he is aware of his status as a copy of Rasputin, before things went south in that Chamber, he could have within a few milliseconds uploaded himself to a server he has in some unknown base of operations. And he very well could have had an Exo frame that he could transfer into, and has simply been keeping quiet. OR, we could be dealing with a third-generation Rasputin. Before death, he could have had a failsafe in which a copy of his mind would be shuttled to a server awaiting a reconstruction process of a new physical form. Something happened to the base, maybe a major system malfunction, so now he’s trapped in a base with no way to get out of call for help. Or maybe his memory unit was screwed up, and he doesn’t know what he even is. Either way, he’s somewhere and I guess it will be our job to find him in a future dlc...maybe. Elsie: This is a much crazier theory. But what if instead of being a complete takeover of the frame, this Rasputin is simply acting like an on board AI to help its user. If it’s Elsie carrying Rasputin, it would make sense that Ana would trust her sister to take care of him. Maybe that’s who she’s been talking to all along. Back in the D1 cinematic when she’s taking to our Guardian, she suddenly gets alerted to enemies in the area. It could be Rasputin she’s talking to....lol jk, she could be talking to literally anyone. But she is somehow connected to the Vex network, and able to manipulate it to travel across time. Maybe the reason she’s able to do it so easily and so freely is because of Rasputin. Then again, Osiris was able to do something similar, but not at the same level(then again, she couldn’t make time-duplicates). She could have just been wickedly smart and time travels because she’s a badass bitch that speaks in stupid riddles. But idk, you never really know with Bungie. (-____-)
To me it kinda makes since he would get a physical exo body eventually since Bungie is drawing on and bringing back a lot of early destiny concepts including stuff from the scraped version of the game in which Rasputin was an exo or at least was an ai controlling an exo body(which I theorize evolved into becoming the bases for Felwinter). That and the fact the if the darkness does come and we get pushed out of earth and maybe even the sol system leaving one of Earths greatest minds/ weapon marooned there wouldn’t be ideal since he can’t physically get up and leave his cradle on Mars when shit hits the fan which would leave him at the mercy of the darkness unless he shuts himself down again(assuming that’d work a second time and would even be a smart decision for him). It would also be kinda cool and funny having to Russian exo legends interact with one another. Saint-14 the legendary Bord man and RA RA RASPUTIN.
Yes , it was the original story before bungie butchered it because it was "too linear and campy" and they chopped up the game to the pieces we know today , the concept art of a exo covered in blood leaning against a wall was actually supposed be rasputin, or his physical form at the very least

Saint-14 makes sense. We saved him and now Rasputin is back? Well, it makes sense from a similarities perspective (russian, same general charter to protect humanity, exo, etc.), but S14 has been wiped 14 times (the -14 part) and he has never explicitly been linked to Rasputin (maybe to conceal the connection?).
It might have been felwinter since his ghost and him wanted to avoid warsats and Rasputin all together. Maybe so they don’t delink and felwinter looses his free will? All speculation
Hold on, so does this mean Rasputin is malfunctioning? It sounds like the security scan identified Rasputin through his link with Ana. The scan identified him as a rogue mind. A rogue mind is defined as having a catastrophic failure, neural degeneration, or loss of containment.
His purpose was to protect Humanity, and even though we know he went into hiding because he believed it was the only way to win, Clovis Bray didn't, so they probably believed he had gone rogue and made a deal with the Darkness to sell us out for his own survival.
My first thought was, since it was physically with her and not over a radio channel, that the Rogue Mind was the Ghost. If this Bunker was made/set up before the collapse, it wouldn't have knowledge of what Ghost's are, and only recognizes it as an AI style construct. Unless, with all her upgrades, Ana is the ideal Exo that Clovis dreamed of?!?! indistinguishable from a human. And perhaps her 'sister' Elsa, was never flesh and blood, but a fully created Exo, and prototype to a Warmind?!? Ok, that may be a bit far, but it would be QUITE the twist. It could be plausible that Elsie was always an Exo - maybe 3rd generation. Fellwinter could originally have ben Clovis, and Ana is the final model Exo prototype. And what are the chances they are 3 of the 7 Seraph Exo's?? O . O
I always figured Exos were intended to be extensions of Rasputin. His hands and feet if you will. Still a huge supercomputer, but not literally an Exo "himself".

Chandrashakar Kuldeep rasputin is in ana Brays body because she is an augmented human. (She has tech built into her body) so when the scanner scanned them it detected ana as well as rasputin in her

Chandrashakar Kuldeep if you watch the vault of glass cutscene with Osiris you see what the vex see our ghosts as. Just a really bright light. So I am assuming that’s what the security scanners saw... or actually didn’t see because they were blinded by jinjus light.
David Mueller with all of the lore and actual gameplay revolving around Vex simulations I wouldn’t be surprised. Notice when we pull out our ghosts a wave of pixelation washes over the environment. I don’t think this is a heads up visualization. I think it’s a hint.

Felwinter could be the clone but we would need more lore to determine that at this moment it's just head cannon or a what-if.

Also congrats on the successful PhD progress, my daughter is on the spectrum, thankfully she had very patient teachers, who were focused on teaching individuals, rather than teaching ‘at a room’ sadly that seems more the exception, than the rule, more often than not, so the more that can be done to provide systems, and/or resources, that help reduce the many barriers to learning, the better.
I hope you thoroughly explore Rasputin related stuff before the next season because by then we’ll probably be busy with all Darkness related lore.
Question: can Red’s mind fit in an exo? I thought Rasputin’s core was so big because they needed that much hardware to have a mind that smart and capable.
The entry said his basic core, so it would probably have his memories and personality, but he would be dumbed down to human level intelligence.
That could mean them needing multiple exos to divide his mind into.

Based on this Lore entry and previous lore entries you covered. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that one of "copies" of Rasputin is.....FELWINTER. His shaky past not to mention some of the things uncovered in recent lore just ponts him towards being lord Felwinter. Also remember the orignal Destiny story had rasputin in the form of an EXO? Just a theory though.

I haven’t read the leaks, but my theory is that Rasputin ‘wins’ against the Almighty or the Darkness but it destroys him and we need to seek the Deep Stone Crypt to place him into an Exo. Felwinter is Clovis Bray, he’s the ‘guy’ for Enceladus. Mithrax awakens the Traveller and becomes Speaker. The Traveller’s light holds the pyramids at bay near Titan.

1. Traveler is already awakened at the end of the Red War in response to Ghaul stealing its Light.
2. Highly doubt Rasputin will get damaged as his mind is located primarily on Mars with other submind networks around the Sol System.
3. Highly doubt Rasputin will be abled to hold back the Darkness ships as it shut down most of his systems and fragmented his mind, being abeld to withstand most of Rasputin's WMD armaments with little trouble which led to the Ikelos prototypes, and the activation of SIVA as a weapon rather than its original purpose of fast colony construction and terraforming of inhospitable worlds not touched by the Traveler's light.
4. The Almighty is a joke, the Red Legion is a joke. The only interesting part of the Cabal storyline anymore is Calus and learning the truth with him and the Leviathan and either putting him down or having him as an ally. The Almighty storyline Bungo introduced is just disappointing and lazy and really got swept under the rug even by Bungie with the introduction of the Pyramid Ships. Rasputin obviously doesn't consider the Almighty a threat as its not even on the doomsday wall unlike the Pyramid Ships.
5. Felwinter is Clovis Bray? Seriously?.... Drifter x Zavala being shipped together seem to make more sense than that half baked theory with nothing baking it like the rest of your theorys.
6. The Deep Stone Crypt most likely will not make an appearance. As Bungo is rushing the final confrontation with the Darkness.
7. Enceladus is a Moon of Saturn. So what you said about it makes no sense.
8. Mithrax is highly unlikely to become speaker as that makes no sense to begin with. Relations with Fallen is tense at best especially after the whole Scorn debacle and I highly doubt the corrupt government of the last city and tower will have any interest in interspecies relations when they have an isolationist political and tactical view. Mithrax would be better for settling the Fallen storyline, will they revert back into the old houses seeking golden age tech and living like pirates, will Elksni establish themselves under one banner to start over and return to their roots and culture before their escape from the Darkness with Variks the new Kell of Kells, will they side with Mithrax who seeks peace and coexistence between Humanity/Guardians and the Elksni and willing to drop their pursuit for stealing the Traveler back, will they side with Spider and conform to Humanity's culture and history rather than their own and work for Ether, or will the Elksni truly fall and give in to Fikrul becoming no more than mindless puppets of the Scorn.... Thats if Bungo even decides to tie up the Fallen storyline just like the forgotten Dreaming City and Savathun storyline.
9. The Darkness was theorized in lore to actually be a byproduct of light. Where there is Light there will always be itd opposite. Which is why Vex for example seek an empty world without light or dark so that there is nothing they cannot replicate or understand. But the Traveler was theorized by Osiris to be the main cause of the collapse and possible source of the Darkness that it itself is a form of the Darkness, like the pull of gravity from the moon making waves for example.
10. The only thing you said that might make sense for allowing Bungo to drag out content and tie up loose end before the climax with the Pyramid Ships is the Traveler holding them at bay. Giving Guardians and the rest of humanity time to better prepare. But your info and theories are heavily unsupported and even shot down by lore in game for years not just the recent leaks.
Great work, myelin. This explains rasputins obsession with felwinter. I had a feeling felwinter was rasputin or a clone of him before the traveler revived him. Before this video I found myself contemplating on how the holy trinity works and what if rasputin had created exos so he could reach places he couldn't access himself as a warmind and here we are now.

she's been confirmed to be Elsie Bray, but I don't know if it's the Brays of this timeline. She seemed to be really connected with the Vex, and apparently able to access their time travel network, so she could have come from anywhere/where. I think they've written her out of the story though. Don't look for too much from her going forward.

As there's been speculation whether or not Rasputin is actually good or evil, what if it ends up that 'big red' was corrupted by the darkness but they managed to download (clone) him in to an exo (Fellwinter). Then this being the reason Fellwinter in on the run/in hiding as he's the actual Rasputin (good/normal version) and 'big red' on Mars is actually a darkness controlled machine trying to kill him?
Could make sense with all the lore about Fellwinter being so shifty and secretive and also why it seemed like Fellwinter was looking for bunkers, maybe looking for this secret one?

So, I was talking with some guys about lore last night, because I've seen all your videos, so I'd say I know a bit about the lore. And one of the guys I was talking to asked this conspiracy question that threw me off and I was wondering what you'd think about it. the conspiracy was this, Cayde-6 is actually a sub mind of Rasputin.

I was full on expecting some sort of speculation around this alternative Exo mind being Cayde. I listened to the DDU podcast and I got the impression Caydes body was brought to this instillation to be uploaded with the alternative mind. But then I don’t think that theory lines up with the timeline, if the secret Clovis Bray bunker was broken into during the golden age then that would likely be before Cayde was even around... I’m so hyped to see where this story goes
I think we are going to learn more about Rasputin's past. We know he was created by Dr. M. Mihaylova for the Ares One mission, the mission where he was the ships AI taking with him the first three humans to meet the Traveler, aka moon X. As well as operation catamaran, which those details are still unknown.

I feel like one of the only players that isn't a RUclipsr that actually reads the lore. We already know that he exists as Fellwinter.
The exo's being referred to are still the seventh seraph officers felwinter was before he became gurdian / iron lord. Rasputin had the power to control them. They were his puppets. It's also why Felwinter was paranoid, and knew the locations of the bunkers. Perhaps he is even responisble for SIVA killing his fellow iron lords.
Ana needs to do some bounties first to unlock that bunker and clear it daily too

I'm fuzzy on the D1 details... Didn't the Vanilla campaign start off by "freeing" Rasputin from the Cosmodrome so that he could reconnect to the Sol network?
Is it possible that they activated the Warmind partitioning process thinking that Rasputin was going rogue in response to the collapse and then we feed a fragment of him in D1? Could explain the seeming memory loss and lack of access to all facilities.

Before judgement here me out:
1) There is an old lore entry or quest dialog (can't remember which) from D1 where someone talks about Cayde claiming/being called Rasputin
2) There are some mysteries that Cayde had access to and knowledge of that apparently Ana Bray does not (Deepstone Crypt for example)
3) There is the prevailing theory that Cayde picked the number 6 but could have either had far more resets or a completely different backstory to everything he mentioned about a family and Ace

I agree with many of the other commenters, I think Fellwinter is one of these clones of Rasputin revived as a guardian. Perhaps those dead exos were normal clones that Fellwinter killed to hide his identity.
Hearing about all of this, one single name is whispered by the voices in my mind: "Fellwinter..."

Seeing some people say it’s Felwinter, and one or two say it’s Elsie. I’ll make a small case for both.
Felwinter :
Okay so we know for a fact that the Exo shell we associate with the name Felwinter is buried in the SIVA Replication Chamber. As far as we know, Felwinter COULD be dead. Now if this theory about him being Rasputin is true, then as of now, he is without a body. Felwinter(if this is true) is not like any other Guardian or Exo ever seen before. If he is aware of his status as a copy of Rasputin, before things went south in that Chamber, he could have within a few milliseconds uploaded himself to a server he has in some unknown base of operations. And he very well could have had an Exo frame that he could transfer into, and has simply been keeping quiet. OR, we could be dealing with a third-generation Rasputin. Before death, he could have had a failsafe in which a copy of his mind would be shuttled to a server awaiting a reconstruction process of a new physical form. Something happened to the base, maybe a major system malfunction, so now he’s trapped in a base with no way to get out of call for help. Or maybe his memory unit was screwed up, and he doesn’t know what he even is. Either way, he’s somewhere and I guess it will be our job to find him in a future dlc...maybe.
Elsie:
This is a much crazier theory. But what if instead of being a complete takeover of the frame, this Rasputin is simply acting like an on board AI to help its user. If it’s Elsie carrying Rasputin, it would make sense that Ana would trust her sister to take care of him. Maybe that’s who she’s been talking to all along. Back in the D1 cinematic when she’s taking to our Guardian, she suddenly gets alerted to enemies in the area. It could be Rasputin she’s talking to....lol jk, she could be talking to literally anyone. But she is somehow connected to the Vex network, and able to manipulate it to travel across time. Maybe the reason she’s able to do it so easily and so freely is because of Rasputin. Then again, Osiris was able to do something similar, but not at the same level(then again, she couldn’t make time-duplicates). She could have just been wickedly smart and time travels because she’s a badass bitch that speaks in stupid riddles.
But idk, you never really know with Bungie.

To me it kinda makes since he would get a physical exo body eventually since Bungie is drawing on and bringing back a lot of early destiny concepts including stuff from the scraped version of the game in which Rasputin was an exo or at least was an ai controlling an exo body(which I theorize evolved into becoming the bases for Felwinter). That and the fact the if the darkness does come and we get pushed out of earth and maybe even the sol system leaving one of Earths greatest minds/ weapon marooned there wouldn’t be ideal since he can’t physically get up and leave his cradle on Mars when shit hits the fan which would leave him at the mercy of the darkness unless he shuts himself down again(assuming that’d work a second time and would even be a smart decision for him). It would also be kinda cool and funny having to Russian exo legends interact with one another. Saint-14 the legendary Bord man and RA RA RASPUTIN.

Suddenly all those jokes Andal Brask made about Cayde being Rasputin suddenly don’t sound so crazy. For real, I have 4 real guesses as to who may be a Rasputin clone. Banshee, Felwinter (maybe a Seraph?), Cayde, or Saint-14 (dude is literally Russian and likes music).
Saint-14 makes sense. We saved him and now Rasputin is back? Well, it makes sense from a similarities perspective (russian, same general charter to protect humanity, exo, etc.), but S14 has been wiped 14 times (the -14 part) and he has never explicitly been linked to Rasputin (maybe to conceal the connection?).
It might have been felwinter since his ghost and him wanted to avoid warsats and Rasputin all together. Maybe so they don’t delink and felwinter looses his free will? All speculation

It sounds like the security scan identified Rasputin through his link with Ana. The scan identified him as a rogue mind. A rogue mind is defined as having a catastrophic failure, neural degeneration, or loss of containment.
I just assumed becasue Rasputin took control post collapse he is now considered Rogue mind. Not too sure how it applies to the clone?
His purpose was to protect Humanity, and even though we know he went into hiding because he believed it was the only way to win, Clovis Bray didn't, so they probably believed he had gone rogue and made a deal with the Darkness to sell us out for his own survival.
My first thought was, since it was physically with her and not over a radio channel, that the Rogue Mind was the Ghost. If this Bunker was made/set up before the collapse, it wouldn't have knowledge of what Ghost's are, and only recognizes it as an AI style construct.
Unless, with all her upgrades, Ana is the ideal Exo that Clovis dreamed of?!?! indistinguishable from a human. And perhaps her 'sister' Elsa, was never flesh and blood, but a fully created Exo, and prototype to a Warmind?!? Ok, that may be a bit far, but it would be QUITE the twist. It could be plausible that Elsie was always an Exo - maybe 3rd generation. Fellwinter could originally have ben Clovis, and Ana is the final model Exo prototype. David Mueller with all of the lore and actual gameplay revolving around Vex simulations I wouldn’t be surprised. Notice when we pull out our ghosts a wave of pixelation washes over the environment. I don’t think this is a heads up visualization. I think it’s a hint.
