And since we KNOW that [O] means Traveler... ...and since the remote asset seizure FAILED... ...we can safely say that, for whatever reason, the Traveler's either stole Felwinter from Rasputin... ...or, it was the Traveler's intention to have Rasputin experience life as a Guardian.
I’m inclined to believe the Traveler stole Felwinter from Rasputin, leading to some of Rasputin’s protocols to disable the Traveler should it try to leave Earth.
The Traveler was in hibernation when all this happened, it didn't consciously choose Felwinter. Light born are resurrected because of something in them that the ghosts can detect. They're given a second chance to live so that they can serve humanity. It's possible that Felspring could reach into the exo mind and see that it wanted to protect humanity. It's more than likely something more space magic than that. You can't honestly believe that the Traveler consciously chooses guardians, that's completely ridiculous. If the Traveler chooses, explain Prince Uldren.
I keep rereading your comment and it makes me want to throttle you. Yes [O] means Traveler you got one thing right. The acquisition failed because being resurrected erases their memories. When Felwinter was resurrected it obviously erased the reacquisition protocol. Not because it was meant to, but because that's just the nature of it.
What I love about this lore book is what the ultimate implications are. It’s implied that Felwinter is pretty much a copy of Rasputin in exo form. There could be an exo somewhere that has a copy of Rasputin’s mind. Probably at the deep stone crypt? Enceledus??? Also, it implies that Felwinter may not be fully dead. He may be alive somewhat and that we will meet him someday. Wow, imagine Saladin meeting Felwinter again. Saladin, Felwinter and Efrideet forming a fireteam. Bruh....I just realized. Saladin is a titan. Efrideet is a Hunter. Felwinter is a warlock. We already have two of the 3 alive. If Felwinter comes back, they form a fireteam. That could be an amazing season of lore.
I think Efrideet gave up the combat lifestyle guardians/iron lords usually partake in. She'd probably still help if it was required, like how she came back to provide support during the red war and she sensed her light had tapped out. But as far as being an on hand member of an active fireteam. Probably not. Though maybe seeing a fellow Iron Lord return from the grave might change her outlook.
I would imagine Rasputin is trying to destroy Fellwinter simply because he's been risen by the Traveler, right? I mean, it talks about the golem having gone 'rogue', i.e. no longer under his control, due to it's risen status. And the lore entry said that it had an [O] energy signature. Isn't [O] the way that Rasputin refers to the Traveller? I think I remember seeing that in some other lore card and well, it would make sense. O is the shape of the Traveller after all.
O for omicron. Omicron was derived from the phoenician letter o, ayin, for an eye. O also represents a mathematical expression where something approaches infinity.
Christian Yaerger That would imply that [-O-] would be the opposite of infinity, which the Darkness is clearly not. In this case, I think [O] just means Light.
I always took the [O] to be Rasputin's term for the Traveler and Light. Like the Vex, I imagine he can't adequately calculate something paracausal such as the Light
Felwinter likely died during the Collapse. Rasputin, realizing that The Traveler is largely responsible for the Collapse, wanted Felwinter dead because The Traveler reserrected him only to be used as a soldier in its war with The Darkness.
It's actually hinted that it's out of jealousy Rasputin sees felt winter as his son. And if he can't have his son no one will. He chose the iron Lords with Siva just to kill fellWinter. But after the deed is done rescuing feels guilty.
Interestingly, Rasputin actully regrets killing him after SIVA had fucked him over. I don't know were this was directly mentioned, but in some lore piece added this season, it mentions that Rasputin actully felt deep despair after killing Felwinter, he starts to regard him as a son, not as a body that should have been his. So ironically, the original intention of Rasputins goal with Felwinter was achieved, he wanted to create a body to learn more about the world, and by killing Felwinter and his friends, he learns the emotion of regret. "And the tyrant looked upon his tyrany and wept." Russian leaders always seem to shoot themselves in the foot, don't they?

The deep stone crypt seems to be, now, almost like a sleeper agent built within exos, until recently we all thought it was a location. I wonder if more will be explained next season or we have to wait till y4
SO much of the destiny lore should be animated. I would love to see a series of short animations about the various stories in destiny. The lore is amazing.
I KNOW!!!!! I actully want to make a old-school story-driven single-player Destiny spinoff game that allows you to play through the story of the Iron Lords, from Lord Saladins resurrection, to their death at the hands of SIVA. This lore book has given me so many good ideas of how this can be adapted to a visual medium! It gives the whole story another layer of depth, rather than Rasputin just wanting to kill the Iron Lords because "GRR ORGANIC LIFE!!!" he actully only wanted to kill them because Felwinter was among them. THIS DESERVES TO BE ITS OWN GAME! I consider the Iron Lords to be the Avengers of Destiny, and they all died, thats tragic, and although the Lore is written very very well, I honestly think that the Iron Lords story deserves to be one directly shown, not told. Imagine seeing that flashback cutscene of Lady Jolder blowing herself up to stop SIVA, and actully feeling sad, rather than indifferent like most of us did? Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

Watching this through I noticed that Rasputin identifies Felwinter as having "[O] energy signature" in the SIDDHARTHA GOLEM entry. This is odd because in the unsecured/OUTCRY ship Rasputin does the same symbol, except it has a line through it ( [Θ] ), which most people determined that it must be referring to the Traveler post-collapse. Since Rasputin refers to the Light as "[O] energy" post-collapse, opposed to "[Θ] energy", I feel like the unsecured/OUTCRY entry may not be referencing the Traveler.
They may be unrelated, or only one of them relates to the traveller. The symbol with a line through it is Theta, the Greek letter representing both the sound 'th' and the number 9. I'm not too sure about this referring to the Traveller post-collapse, but I'm willing to bet '[O] energy' refers to the Light, as detected by Rasputin to be an offshoot of the Traveller's energy signature
IIRC, the [O] symbol was used in D1 lore and the [Θ] was in D2. I've always thought that the change indicated the Traveller waking up at the end of the D2 campaign, as its shell is super broken now.
[O] has been in previous grimoire written in Rasputin-speak to represent the Traveller. So when the entry states: SIDDHARTHA GOLEM identifies with [O] energy signature, Rasputin is basically acknowledging that his proxy has been hijacked by the Traveller/Light.

First time hearing about felwinter in D1: meh don't know the guy, but love the shotgun. Hearing him again in D2: Finally we find out where the hell he came from and who he is. Shotgun is still going to be nice though.

Thank you for the heads up the fact the lore is not yet available in the game. I like to read lore on my own then watch others interpretation of it afterwards. Your really making improvements after not doing this for the osiris lore last season
Here's my little theory: What likely happened was that Felwinter was personally activated by Rasputin to act as a vessel that would help Rasputin sympathize and understand Humanity post-collapse, the exo frame likely sustained damage while accumulating human knowledge in a library which led to the exo being temporarily deactivated rendering it able to be resurrected by the traveler (Which he promptly was). While Rasputin was attempting to get him back online he noticed "Oh hey, the exo suit which I was using to learn about the unpredictable and admitinly malicious nature of human beings has been resurrected by the Traveler and had its mind wiped, good thing it doesn't have access to the Warmind systems... OI BLYAT". This would explain why Rasputin was so incessant on killing Felwinter, I mean he had every ability to become this monstrous warlord with access to the ENTIRE Warmind network of warsats, bunkers, frames; I mean he could essentially take over the entire system had he wanted to. Anyways that's what I took away from this
True, and I also believe Felwinter was made to test the theory of Morality itself, and completely in a natural way be allowed to choose a side (Light vs Dark) off his own volition so that Rasputin can know if what he's doing is 'right', or just good for humans. Which pretty much is effed if the Traveller just hijacks the vessel. It is ironic that in attempting to correct this circumstance he seems to have arrived at the intended conclusion anyway, fighting with Ana for the side of Light for the good of all.
Well not just holding a part of rasputin. He was on of the rasputins seraph seven. Rasputin was a giant child and didn't like the traveler having one of his toys and ultimately played the if i can't have it no one can and sent siva to kill the iron lords.
It sounds like rasputin probably got all the information he wanted out of felwinter during the golden age and deactivated him. Then he gets revived by felspring and is then seen as a loose end by rasputin, hence why he tries to destroy him.
The one thing I was thinking well listening is that felwinter was the golem before he was awakened by the ghost. So when the ghost woke him Rasputin lost control and tried to kill he so he could never find out he was created.
I am forever grateful for you and your videos. Thank you for dedicating a big part of your life to make all of our special hobby all more enjoyable. Thank you.
We all know that when a guardian is first brought to life by a ghost it has all of its memories wiped. Is this not why Rasputin wanted it down? His Exo was now under the control of the traveler when he assumed it long death. Was he not attempting to gain control over Felwinter again? Or was it because the exo had a flawed moral and that was the main reason to keep it down? Man... instead of having answers I have more questions.... and that is why love this games lore so much
I audibly gasped when I heard DSC said out loud as Deep Stone Crypt. I didn't even catch it till then. And we know thats on Enceladus, as well! Cayde confirmed it. So much comes with this and it has me so excited.
I think fellwinter is a frame that was created for rasputin to use as a last resort. The traveler then used the light to gift it consciousness hence why rasputin "attacked the traveler" and tries to take out fellwinter.
Actually people prob fall asleep to your vids because something about your voice is just relaxing and you are pretty good at telling stories or in our case my fellow guardian lore
When the lore says "information gathering" my brain automatically went to the lore of the exos hunting down the scientist from titan. I forget which lore it was, but a group of exos went to titan to secure sensitive information right before the collapse. Ended up killing the scientist and a colony(?) ship that was evacuating titan. Could it be possible that felwinter would have been one of those exos?
Great video. Remember the last mission in the Destiny 1 iron lords expansion? It looks to me like when you fight the remanent of felwinter, he has a human face and a human foot. but he does have blue eyes like an exo. I thought he was human back in destiny 1.
Bro it's not the case that you put me to sleep at all haha. You just have such a smooth, laid back tone/vibe and it's perfect for decompressing and winding down!!. Perhaps [O] energy signature is the Traveler's Light? As such the Automated protocol to for "remote asset seizure" failed. Edit: You said it left off before the SIVA Replication Chamber, perhaps Rasputin used assets at his disposal to manipulate Humanity/Guardians into destroying Felwinter? (Iron Lords, SIVA, PC's) This bit is a bit of a stretch, but perhaps Rasputin seeking to destroy Felwinter is because of The Traveler's interference. His morality test "Siddhartha Golem" had gone rogue, The Traveler had taken something literally maybe part of him, from Rasputin. If that were the case, it makes me question whether there was any intent on The Traveler's behalf as to Felwinter's resurrection. The Traveler wanted an Avatar? One with functioning morality. Like I said, that part is the biggest stretch, but the first segment is what I extrapolated from that particular lore piece. Food for thought.
its not that your videos are bad that they put us to sleep buddy, its cause you voice is so soothing. its calm. i love it. kinda meditative if you will. nothing to personal against byf but i cant stand the way he talks. you. idk man. so gentle. i love it.
Just for clarification: Siddhartha Golem was an exo created by Rasputin to help the Warmind experience life as humans do. It wasn't Rasputin himself, but a proxy for him. However, at some point Siddhartha Golem dies (probably during Collapse). Then during the Dark Age, Felspring finds SG, revives him with the new name Felwinter. Rasputin realizes that SG is reactivated but is no longer under his control, and tries to destroy the now "rogue" unit. So Felwinter's true identity is that he was created as a proxy fro Rasputin?
Hmmm... this rings some bells... In the "Fullmetal Alchemist" manga, there is a being, called "Father" or "Dwarf in the Flask", that creates several other entities, Homunculi, to get rid himself of his own vices. Each of them represent a single Deadly Sin and dies in a way too ironic way later, but... Each of them had their own personality, although mostly defined by the sin they represented. Each of them was their own being and made their own desisions. Why this ring bells? Golem was a creature in Hebrew mythos created from earth. Clay, to be precise, but, they needed to be controlled and did not possess will of their own - something like low functioning frames (i.e. Arcite-99 is a high functioning frame, with personality, wit and will). Homunculus, on the other hand, is an Artificial Human. A creature created by magic in a humanoid shape. With its own will and desires, but ofter tasked with orders from its creator. Fellwinter's crawing was the responsibility and desire to protect Humanity, just like Rasputin's. He was created as a Homonculus to experience and feedback moral choices, but was not acting mindlessly. Felwinter had its own personality and will. Had a task. And made decisions. He WAS part of the Warmind Rasputin, but not as a manifestation or proxy or a sub-mind, but as a creature born of necessety and desire. Totally different and independent from Rsputin but also always connected to him. Then why not just call Felwinter a "homunculus"? Rasputin possibly knew the name and the definition, but was unable to create one - homunculi are, for the better part, organic. Even creating an Exo with complete neural netting os a human brain wasn't easy - I assume the number DSC-345 refers to the number of actual attempts warmind has undertaken to create an Exo homunculus. However, since Exo are robotic (cybernetic?) enities, logical mind of Rasputin named the protocol "Siddhartha Golem", as there were 2 key components to the whole ordeal 1) Leaving the compounds of the Mindlab, as placed there by Bray corporation to be a tool in the fight for humanity, to experience and gain moral insight (Much like prince Siddhartha in buddism history) and 2) creating an artificial means to do this. So yeah, tl;dr - Felwinter was essentially Rasputin, but also, Felwinter was an separate, independent, self-aware being. Otherwise, this whole learnig shebang would be as futile, as convincing the Hive to convert to Bomb logic.
For anyone who is reading this it should be noted that the "final" step of the quest (felwinter's inheritance) is currently bugged and they plan to fix it in the morning.
Golem. The reason why your voice puts poeple to sleep is, your voice is soothing and gentle. Not to mention you have somber music in the back round. Enjoy thre lore. Hopefully you can continue to make vids fir the foreseeable future and still make money. Good luck, and God speed, Guardian of the Lore.

I would've liked it if they had just 1 more lore entry in the book that depicted Felwinter's final thoughts as he was being consumed by siva. To me, it just ends so suddenly that it doesn't feel satisfying.
OMG! Wait a minute you guys remember the Seven Seraph and how it mentions the season of the worthy we'll find out more about the Seventh Seraph and if Felwinter is Rasputin could that mean Rasputin is actually the Seventh Seraph. If so that would imply there were more exos that Rasputin made remember how there was that one place with seven chair that seem to be connect to Rasputin, maybe that's where Rasputin made 7 exos that would experience life. Also why Seraph and why seven, in Roman Catholicism there's the seven deadly sins and the seven heavenly virtues. Seraph are a type of angel so it could be referred to the seven heavenly virtues and if so maybe each one of the exos Rasputin made could personify those virtues, as to what virtue Felwinter could personify idk, but remember how a while back everyone was thinking Cayde-6 could be Rasputin what if we were right what if he's the Sixth Seraph and he personifies the virtue of Courage or maybe Faith as in the faith to believe that he lived a live had a son named Ace and so on.
MYELIN, put on the ornament for the Crest of alpha lupi, then add the monochromatic shader to it and look at what's inside the black triangle on the back. (I also sent this to another)
Isn't that [O] Rasputin's code for the Traveler? Felwinter gets reactivated by a Ghost, has the Traveler's energy signature (because he is now a Guardian), and cannot be returned (and possibly subsumed?) by Papa Warmind.
I just want to believe that it’s possible that we can meet Felwinter-2. Because when you think about it, in the lore entry, it says that this was a protocol meant to gather information. Well, if Rasputin still has that information.....we could “revive” Felwinter. If we found an Exo frame somewhere on Europa, well.... Which I think would be a great story point for the upcoming expansion, Collapse. We go to Europa after the Veil comes in and wrecks us, and find some tech. Maybe we get Felwinter up and running and he teaches us some cool new abilities. Idk, highly improbable, but sounds nice in my head :P
Myelin, it's not a jab when people say you put them to sleep (at least from me). It's that you've got such a soothing voice with such a steady tone to it.
How cool would it be if they brought Felwinter back some how? Like maybe once the other Iron Lord's were killed, Rasputin had Siva isolate and deactivate Felwinter (so that he could study him or something) and then he gets brought back online some how
It seems as though Felwinter served as a perspective lens that Rasputin was using to check weither his moral coding was aligned with the survival and/or best interests(?) of humanity. Then Felwinter broke loose, failed critically, died? Became cut away from the Warmind somehow. After which, Feldspring raised him as a Guardian. Completely separating him from Rasputin, irreversible. That point forward, Felwinter became one thing, and one thing only to Rasputin: A liability. A weakness. A threat. Thus the attempted burial by warsat. Felwinter could serve as a window into the old a.i. And Rasputin couldn't allow that, not if his mission was to be completed. Simple logic on the machine's part; if Felwinter persists, this one may perish. Edit: spelling
This is a long one I apologize in advance: I dunno if anyone already said this but the book, “Siddhartha,” (Herman Hesse) but it’s essentially a version of the story of the original Buddha told in the West under a different name. I think it draws an interesting connection because of the concept that Rasputin is a tyrant king and the story of the original Buddha is a prince who sees the world around him, recognizes injustice and seeks enlightenment, and it’s very similar to Felwinter almost saying that it was his intention to eventually betray Rasputin. Also, the word, “Enlightenment,” is commonly used when describing Buddhism and a guardian is literally a more, or in Felwinters case an exo, imbued with light. Taking it even further, and bear with me on this, in Buddhism the concept of reincarnation is significant a constant cycle of life, death and rebirth, similarly to what an echo must go through in the form of having their minds reset, and when you reach, Nirvana, or enlightenment that circle ends, just as it did for Felwinter. Finally, one last connection that I think should be noted though I really don’t know its significance, in Russia after WW1 there was a revolution against the czars (the monarchy at the time) prior to which Rasputin, a mystic whom claimed that he could the czar’s son took advantage of his hold over the Royal family and gained a relatively significant amount of power and influence in the process. During this revolution, the entire royal family was murdered, but there were many rumors that the After the revolution though, it is recalled that one of the czar’s daughters named Anastasia, had survived. The Disney movie, Anastasia though a bit older now is about that story and it seems fascinating that such an often negatively viewed person namely, Rasputin would be, a good guy and not only that but that there is some kind of foreshadowing that could be happening there. Again sorry for the MASSIVE comment but I’ve been curious about it and wanted to put it out there. :)
Now that the quest is a little more done another interesting note is that its revealed that Rasputin used Siva to bait Felwinter. It explains why the iron lords got so much resistance why it seemed like Rasputin was using so much force to "keep them out" when in reality all of it was meant for Felwinter, to kill him.
So, if I get it correctly - Felwinter is the Sidd Golem - Rasputins pawn to learn the ways of the "real" world to better understand it and protect it. Felwinter went rogue at some point and Rasputin is hunting him. Based on the history of [O] mark used when discussing Traveller, I presume that Felwinters original job was to asses Travellers influence on humanity = people. To better understand his motives and predict his moves (in preparation for possible Twilight exigent event?). My theory - All info we have access to states that Rasputin didnt attack Traveler, BUT what if the rogue mind = Felwinter = separated himself from Rasputin after realising that Traveler might actually leave Humanity behind and decided to use his access to attack Rasputin and cripple him = leaving him to stay with us before Darkness arrived. Normaly I'd say Traveller is basically cultivating life and civilizations on randoms worlds/solar systems in order to invite Darkness to do the "reaping" and seeif we are strong enough to survive or we get annihilated and the cycle of cosmos continues elsewhere (where Traveller goes next). By this logic I think Felwinter as the Rogue mind realised this, acted upon it, went against the actuall Rasputin Core mind/System and since former Rasputin prolly saw Traveller as the main hope for Huminty to survive, he wanted to defend him and thus hunt down Felwinter for what he did. Travellers final act as a self-preservation method was to release the ghosts (which we dont know if happened before aswel - why is Spider so obsessed with Ghost frames and collects them - they may not all be from our system, but from the Eliksni Golden era, after Traveller left them, they deactivated and served only as trinkets of faded memories? (my thought). This would also link into the whole story of Felwinter and Shaxx and Felwinter'S need to get into the warmind bunker below Shaxx's keep. Also this would lead into the final assault of Iron Lords onto the SIVA complex, which may have been incited by Felwinter because he wanted to sieze SIVA power to ensure Humanity's survival even against Traveller itself, Rasputin had protocols against that as he would not be the final defense for Humamity. He wanted SIVA to be kept aside. That's why he used the frames to wipe out the Iron Lords = to kill Felwinter (which he technically succeeded). Then the question of what "Felwinter'S lie"is gets deeper:) - did he decieve all the IRon Lords to attack SIVA complex to ensure they get SIVA out of Rasputins hands? Im just not sure how to properly set Deep Stone Crypt and Covis Bray into this yet. Final note - Original Rasputin may still be controlled by Clovis Bray.
I think Felwinter is kinda related with the Seven Sereaphs, in the lore card of this season’s ship, Rasputin says that these Seraphs were everything to him, that could somehow relate as well to why Big Red is hunting down Felwinter. (hardcore speculation ahead) maybe Felwinter was an exo used by Rasputin to learn about humanity alongside the Seraphs, maybe even being somehow emotionally connected to them, and making this exo go rougue, and being separated from the Rasputin systems. Idk, HUGE SPECULATION
Interesting both Felwinter and the Drifters ghosts have moments where they explain that repeatedly dying would be easier for them in the long run, to which the two have different reactions (and resurrections)
In one story concept in D1 wasn’t there supposed to be a mission to save Rasputin from the Dreadnaught; he placed his mind in an Exo so he could figure something out up close or something but gets trapped, I don’t remember.
im sure Rasputin was scared of the newly reborn Felwinter, simply because Rasputin doesnt understand the revival process and how it purges one's memory of themselves. Rasputin more than likely thought, this exo that is me, has access to everything that i do and can do everything that i can is no longer under my control. It has powers beyond my control and comprehension. So he saw Felwinter as a possible threat to his own existence and is why he felt the need to immediately destroy him.
You should do another channel where you just make ASMR content. Your older Destiny 1 lore videos always give those tingles from head to toe. Love your videos keep it up. Stay safe
I assume Rasputin would want to destroy his "rogue" golem, because of the [O] signature mentioned..as others have also said. Rasputin already wasn't sure if trusting The Traveler was right, so he certainly wouldn't want part of his experiment to be influenced by The Traveler's Light, as it might not give him an accurate test of his morality, or worse, could even be a further danger to humanity.
This makes me wonder how things would have gone if Bungie had used the original story arc for Destiny 1 of the player having to board the Dreadnought to rescue Rasputin, who the player finds out is contained in an Exo who has been captured by the Hive. It seems like this idea is now being used for Felwinter, at least the "Rasputin in an Exo" part.
Soooooooo.. We were right in assuming that secret room from earlier destiny hypothesies was an exo/rasputin related thing. (The room full of operating pods in a circular arrangement people had to glitch into not the new one this season)
i think its better to look at Siddhartha Golems as envoys or ambassadors than clones. the idea is that they were likely blank slates designed to learn the ways of the people from scratch. of course, exos were originally humans, so i wonder who'd sign up to bet mind-wiped... its known that Rasputin had a bunch of routines and segregated portions of his entire being designed to do specific things. so i wonder if the Golems served a submind designed to house Rasputin's humanity...
Hey Myeiln, since now that we got the shotgun, getting the lore books about Felwinter is really easy which that is "Just get kills with Felwinter's Lie"
The symbol where you say “something” energy signature at 14:30 might mean “traveler”, the light might have been senses by rasputin when felwinter was rezzed by his ghost??? That why it says “reactivation conditions unknown”

Adventist hate to break it to ya but he’s hella dead
Do we know that Felwinter is DEAD dead? Is there a chance he's still alive somehow?
I thought Saladin is a hunter. He wears a cloak around the tower at least.
Wagon Of Goodies nah he’s a Titan. Think of it like how a knight might wear a cloak.
Cool, good to know)
I think Efrideet gave up the combat lifestyle guardians/iron lords usually partake in. She'd probably still help if it was required, like how she came back to provide support during the red war and she sensed her light had tapped out. But as far as being an on hand member of an active fireteam. Probably not. Though maybe seeing a fellow Iron Lord return from the grave might change her outlook.
Wagon Of Goodies that’s not a Hunter cloak. Saladin is most definitely a titan

He is an Iron Lord
I think that this lore ultimately explains why Rasputin attacked the Iron Lords with SIVA. So that he could get Felwinter back under his control.

Watching this through I noticed that Rasputin identifies Felwinter as having "[O] energy signature" in the SIDDHARTHA GOLEM entry. This is odd because in the unsecured/OUTCRY ship Rasputin does the same symbol, except it has a line through it ( [Θ] ), which most people determined that it must be referring to the Traveler post-collapse. Since Rasputin refers to the Light as "[O] energy" post-collapse, opposed to "[Θ] energy", I feel like the unsecured/OUTCRY entry may not be referencing the Traveler.
Could easily be a typo

I really really hope we get Felwinter back into the main story like we did with Saint-14. He is easily as iconic as he was and now they have a really good way of putting him back into the game as an NPC to tie us with Rasputin, Deep Stone Crypt and Siva in the future.

Here's my little theory:
What likely happened was that Felwinter was personally activated by Rasputin to act as a vessel that would help Rasputin sympathize and understand Humanity post-collapse, the exo frame likely sustained damage while accumulating human knowledge in a library which led to the exo being temporarily deactivated rendering it able to be resurrected by the traveler (Which he promptly was).
So, Felwinter was an Exo holding a part of Rasputin. He was killed and resurrected by a ghost. Interesting.
Guess I don't need to watch the video now, thank :)))))
@@bailzz180 I sense sarcasm there. [sighed tiredly]
Well not just holding a part of rasputin. He was on of the rasputins seraph seven. Rasputin was a giant child and didn't like the traveler having one of his toys and ultimately played the if i can't have it no one can and sent siva to kill the iron lords.

Well Andal Brask did have the habit of telling people Cayde was secretly Rasputin.
Feel bad for Felwinter. He had a fairly action packed first few hours as a Guardian.
The one thing I was thinking well listening is that felwinter was the golem before he was awakened by the ghost. So when the ghost woke him Rasputin lost control and tried to kill he so he could never find out he was created.

(Iron Lords, SIVA, PC's)
This bit is a bit of a stretch, but perhaps Rasputin seeking to destroy Felwinter is because of The Traveler's interference.
Food for thought.
its not that your videos are bad that they put us to sleep buddy,
its cause you voice is so soothing. its calm. i love it. kinda meditative if you will. nothing to personal against byf but i cant stand the way he talks.
you. idk man. so gentle.
Nah, it had gone rogue the moment the traveller chosen it as a risen
Hmmm... this rings some bells...
Thanks Myelin for the story telling! And thanks Joe Staten for the story!

Great video as always! Gammatrap has outdone himself this time!

That point forward, Felwinter became one thing, and one thing only to Rasputin:
A liability. A weakness. A threat. Thus the attempted burial by warsat.
Felwinter could serve as a window into the old a.i. And Rasputin couldn't allow that, not if his mission was to be completed.
Simple logic on the machine's part; if Felwinter persists, this one may perish.
Edit: spelling
[0] is a reference to the traveler, I think you missed that part.
Gammatrap is stepping his artwork game up, this looks amazing
Fantastic art as always Gamma. Wished you were lead on armor design for bungie
Oh I'd be horrible at that job lol But thank you so much!
In one story concept in D1 wasn’t there supposed to be a mission to save Rasputin from the Dreadnaught; he placed his mind in an Exo so he could figure something out up close or something but gets trapped, I don’t remember.
Felwinter yeets Castor off the mountain XD
im sure Rasputin was scared of the newly reborn Felwinter, simply because Rasputin doesnt understand the revival process and how it purges one's memory of themselves. Rasputin more than likely thought, this exo that is me, has access to everything that i do and can do everything that i can is no longer under my control. It has powers beyond my control and comprehension. So he saw Felwinter as a possible threat to his own existence and is why he felt the need to immediately destroy him.
Bro when I get back to work I'm joining channel ! thanks for all the hard work!
Golem... wow never expected that. Thanks myelin once again for a terrific lore telling
You should do another channel where you just make ASMR content. Your older Destiny 1 lore videos always give those tingles from head to toe. Love your videos keep it up. Stay safe
Wow. Felwinter reminds me of our blueberry days when we first encountered lore. Didn’t know Jackdiddlysquat.
Golem.
Yup, precisely.
Not wrong using your videos to sleep i used to watch your Book Of Sorrows videos and fall asleep because how calming and peaceful your voice is
I assume Rasputin would want to destroy his "rogue" golem, because of the [O] signature mentioned..as others have also said.
The OR in the coding for the Lore entry indicates that Rasputin knew Felwinter would end up in Old Russia.
Soooooooo.. We were right in assuming that secret room from earlier destiny hypothesies was an exo/rasputin related thing.
(The room full of operating pods in a circular arrangement people had to glitch into not the new one this season)
Are you talking about that one room hidden in Rasputin's bunker from D1? It's a shame bungie never utilized that.
@@N8kdmagazine
That's exactly it yes! I'm saying that's where Felwinter was created.
@@suruxstrawde8322 that would make perfect sense!
i think its better to look at Siddhartha Golems as envoys or ambassadors than clones. the idea is that they were likely blank slates designed to learn the ways of the people from scratch. of course, exos were originally humans, so i wonder who'd sign up to bet mind-wiped... its known that Rasputin had a bunch of routines and segregated portions of his entire being designed to do specific things. so i wonder if the Golems served a submind designed to house Rasputin's humanity...
I've been looking forward to this. Was not disappointed. How come Felwinter looked like a human in D1?
My guess is that he could’ve been human before then was made exo after a certain death
When did he look like a human?
All the sivafied iron lords looked the same, but its still strange
Ghost even says they have human dna. He didn’t mention anything about Exos at all
Maybe that wasn't really Felwinter as his armor is much different too
Hey Myeiln, since now that we got the shotgun, getting the lore books about Felwinter is really easy which that is "Just get kills with Felwinter's Lie"
Good upload dude! Stay true to the grind & you'll get big on RUclips quickly!
Felspring: "He's you"
Me: 🤯🤯🤯
The symbol where you say “something” energy signature at 14:30 might mean “traveler”, the light might have been senses by rasputin when felwinter was rezzed by his ghost??? That why it says “reactivation conditions unknown”
Glad im not the only person who gets lulled to sleep by myelin’s storytelling haha
It's not that you put me to sleep dude, it's more like I need your content to go to sleep. You, Byf, Roanoke, etc. Not boring!
