the white duck is a domesticated or descendant from someone's domesticated duck. There are no white ducks in the wild. Even born wild, they will retain their docile and friendly nature.
BOTH of these are domestic ducks. And there is a rare variant of the wild mallard that is actually white like a pekin duck. A leucistic or albino mallard.
Spending a ton of time on a lake with Pike, Muskie, Gar's and Tiger Muskie, I could not even begin to guess how many ducks, birds and geese I seen get munched. One second there is a duck and the next second, no duck LOL... One that hurt my heart was a momma duck swimming with her ducklings all behind her in a row, 5 or 6 of them.. by the time she got to safety after the first duckling got picked off, there was only 2 left and she stood on the shore quaking and looking for the others and I was like damn...
Same. I didn’t know what an alligator gar is until I watch this vid. I was expecting an actual alligator and I had so much anxiety when he put his hand in the water
Those locust noises in the background remind me so much of summers on our ranch where I grew up in Santa Fe, Texas. Our place had an alligator infested bayou running through it that would go all the way out to West Bay. I spent many days & evenings canoeing that bayou and listening to those exact, same sounds. I no longer live down there, but those sounds sure make me home sick!!!
Not sure where you're at, but there are two ducks just like those two, that hang out at a neighborhood pond near me. They return every spring and are pretty tame because people in the neighborhood feed them regularly. The white duck was probably someone's pet, but the other is a hybrid. The two near me are never apart
Those are both domestic ducks. They swim up to people like that every day all over the world. Guy sticks his hand out like he’s going to feed them, then tells them to go away, then sticks his hand out like he’s going to feed them again. 🤷🏻♂️

“If I only had a shotgun” and you wonder why Ducks don’t just come up to you 😂. In the UK wild ducks will happily hand feed. Where is that Florida? I’m heading there and wanting to do a bit of fishing. Great Video
Hey genius, of course they're not scared of you... They're domestic, one is a Pekin and the other looks like a blue swedish cross. Someone either turned them loose or there's a farm somewhere nearby

If it was an alligator gar, the white duck would be on a t shirt.
Yeah I thought so too. Nose was too pointy.
I was looking to see if anyone else caught that and sure enough here it is.
