RONINS are legit hardest enemy to fight especially on lethal Difficulty and it’s always epic when the flute plays cuz the odds are stacked against you and badass when you defeat them!!
3:47-4:15 No one else talks about it. But this 30ish seconds section has got to be my favorite part, the shamisen notes and how they just build up to get faster and faster. And then the final 3 seconds for each time they build to maximum speed is glorious. There’s no raw orchestra or consistent flute carrying the main flow of the music, just harsh strings. Varying from slow deliberate notes, to buildups into rapid flurries of strings. And yet despite the simplicity, it carries the energy of tension and combat better then any other part of the song in my eyes. It just feels so raw. If it could be extended into a full combat song, that would be amazing.
I was fighting the first time with the moon stance and had to Safe a villager.. then 3:22 kicks in... i can feel the slashes of my Katana. Taka meets Kothun... im personally angry and shocked. The Ronins come with drawn swords and 5:06 kicks in... Everywhere puddles and dirt. i can feel my vengeance slashing through them. That game made me the Ghost of Tsushima
I was boiling with so much rage by the point of Taka’s death, I didn’t remember the lines Jin spouted out of pure unbridled anger. I really wish I had the first time, because that shit encapsulated everything I’ve been feeling during those very moments.
After seeing taka butchered and seeing the traitors of the ronin against you Then this song kicks in..... Gave me goosebumps and made me feel indestructible
This was my absolute favorite battle theme I used to let four or five Mongols surround me on purpose because my counter skill go up during this theme lol
I got goosebumps hearing this for the first time, this ost is the best out of all other combat ost in GOT, change my mind if im wrong, this ost > Yarikawa ghost stance bgm

HEXRISE I think it was in the grave yard somewhere around the map; I’ll get the name sooner or later, but yeah it’s a random encounter and it plays randomly I would love to record the whole song when I encounter the fight again but I’m afraid it’ll sound low quality.
