Hopefully the game has a new game plus mode that allows us to replay Mythic Tales. I love to replay the Six Blades of Kojiro and Curse of Uchitsune tales again.
Can I just point out how epic the duels are in this game? When you kill your opponent, the screen turns to a tint of "blood red", how badass is that? The game is amazing.
I remember the fight at the crashing waves where the ronin was very nice to jin saying "I'm ready when you are Lord sakai" and "thank you my lord" like bro he could be a samurai but he didn't :(
Yeah 2 ronin were quite nice (crashing waves an older honourable man and spider lilies a younger and eager man) 2 right pricks (the duel of falling leaves (I think?) and the duel in the marsh, both murderous bastards) and the waterfall duel who is simply a man doing his job.
man that duel,... it was very difficult not because he was a stronger swordsman... after the duel i stayed there a while at the coast and diddnt know what to feel and think
Was trying to platinum the game and that trophy was pissing me off so much. There are like 50 fox dens and they go from being cute to little red bastards
@@Purp1ehaz3 I got curious in what happens after the 6th charm slot and I saw the charms they give you have 2 effect instead of 1 and I was sold. It's damn near busted once you get all 49 dens, combined with the mongol armor I could literally walk in someone's face and the wouldn't spot me for at least 30 seconds. I personally hope for a duel mode where Jin sits and meditates and you can replay all the duels

Ghost of Tsushima reminded me a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2. The duels, the pacing, the way the world is set up. etc. That's probably why I like it so much.
@@VariableZero the samurai and cowboys really are brothers, and historically, they probably met at some point. I know a lot of ronin went to south america after the aztec's fall.
Even at lethal difficulty you can cheese most duels with the mythic abilities but i refrained myself from doing so because slowly walking around my opponent and trying to parry everything with this beat just felt too badass
They need to add a wave mode. where you try and survive against waves of mongols. each wave getting harder and tougher. maybe throwing in ryuzo and his straw hats.

Good music, i got feels from it! I just wished we could've had unique mongol bosses each of them with special abilities and weapons instead just the same armoured dudes from the overworld. They would be Khan's inner circle consisting Khan's loyal captain of the bodyguards, general who's a trusted childhood friend, his firstborn son and so on.
When I did the duel during The Curse of Uchitsune, I had a charm that had a small chance to knock down enemies when you stagger them and it knocked him down the first time I staggered him and I just killed him right there. I didn't mean to kill him right out the gate and I keep wanting to duel him again cause the setting was really cool.
There was one thing missing from the 1.13 update in which I think everyone would really appreciate.And that is to replay any of the duels you have completed.A newly added time attack feature would of been nice.How fast can you take down each duel ? And you get a trophy for beating the best score or time,or you get to acquire the sword from each duel u defeat that would be so satisfying.Don’t you agree ?
Whenever I did these duels, my sense of honor compelled me to always switch to the Ronin outfit and not cheese the fight. It would be dishonoring the legacy of Kurosawa to do so.
The best time to use the Legends attacks is once in the fight, to finish these. Tried to do so with the l1 r1 one but the ronin lived it with the tiniest hp left, i was disappointed lol

Battle of Crashing Waves was my favorite! I actually kinda felt bad we had to duel him.

Yeah I loved rdr2, I played ghost of Tsushima right after my second play through of rdr2, and it was pretty similar which is why I enjoyed it a lot

I hate myself for cheesing every duel with ghost stance and dance of wrath. Even Khotun Khan was a pushover.
Exactly parry and dodge is the way you duel not use all your resolve and boom he is dead.
