A minor correction to the video: Destro will be getting its Season 1 tierset, which is weaker than Season 3. This should not effect its relative difficulty though.

I think boomkin is hard.. when i tried it out in the past i took a long while to learn how to play it properly. doing the dps rotation with him is easy, cyclone correctly is a bit harder. but survivability with boomkin can be quite hard, specially when you are trained agaisnt two melee and have to manage swapping between cat to run away, bear to tank and heal and owl to do dmg if you manage to get some space to breathe.
Lock is easier 100%. But let me share little hack. I always like to pick classes with the heal spec. So when I need to farm some conq, I just switch spec and get fast queue + bonus rewards. So priest is better in a bigger picture imo. Best advice - get green gear and try bg. Press buttons and see, what you like. That’s the only valid decision point. You always will play better with class you like rather then be meta slave.
dont pick warlock unless you are willing to master your defensive/kiting capabilities. you will be getting trained 100% in most ss lobbies. making efficient use of its porting is not easy as well, depending on the lobby of course. unless you are willing to get trained on most lobbies, go for it. I love the spec I main it.
So I'm thinking about coming back to retail after a year and half, I mainly played hunter and dk, how is the play style of Evoker? To me looks similar to dk?
Cause it's a very difficult spec to master but once you do it's arguably one of the best 3v3/Solo shuffle (and obvs 1v1) specs especially at higher ratings. Once I passed the 2.1 threshold and then the 2.4 mark, people on your team know what they're doing compared to people below like 2k ish so there's less polymorph cancellations and your healer won't LOS you, etc. Arcane is broken when you learn how to master your cooldown rotation offensively and defensively. It's the type of spec where you just gotta poke in and poke out of fights and hit what's in front of you. When you can chain your cc's on a healer especially like CS, DB, Blast wave, into a Poly, you will land kills especially while running master sheperd. I learned as Arcane and mage in general to never force a poly just stay alive and blast and the poly opportunities will open once you deal damage and apply pressure. If you reaaaally wanna pump, get good at juking kicks and fake casting in general so you can trigger precog and cast an Arc surge, into a radiant spark, into touch of the magi, 2 POM blasts, barrage, maybe some empowered arcane missiles from behind cover in between, orbs x 2 to regen the charges, barrage again, and if the target isn't dead they surely will back off and your CC opportunity opens up. Best of luck I hope you master the spec.
@@domjay Ya I mean it’s about comps too tbh and in shuffle you get unlucky as arc mage with dog shit comps but idk what you prefer talents wise, I usually go with shimmer over ice floes for the extra blink 👍🏼

this is a tier list of how easy the spec is to play and not how good the spec is right? But some of the very strong classes like warlock feel easier as i can do alot more with them, rather then hunter is very easy to play but also its very easy to die making it hard to survive but easy to do damage.
Yeah...Destro is not getting season 3 tier for season 4. They are getting season 1 tier for season 4. I fully expect Destro players to maintain their season 3 set until the very end because the season 4 tier is going to be really bad.
Sorry but the mage specs arent really that hard that you make them up to be, someone making these are defo playing mage. Being "hard" & never in S-tier since BFA haha, when there is several seasons mages but especially RMP have dominated.
@PwnLinked the video made a mistake, destro locks are getting the s1 tier bonus next week..which essentially gives us a negligible increase in critical dmg and thats it
@eugenesternin6039 right? I mean I started out playing demo, and don't get me wrong it was fine, but recently I switched to destro and was having more fun with it..dammit blizz lol
Call of wilds dmg is actually very high and since it's so long can't be countered with a single defensive, as well as bm not being as squishy as it has in the past (albeit not the 2ed tankiest ranged in the game)

Destro doesnt get S3 Tier again, they get season 1. I think this was an error when making the video.
And that's a really huge mistake here. Destro will be a lot weaker next season, with all those bonus rifts gone, it has to be in the medium tier.
You are correct. This was our mistake, but we don't think this changes its difficulty by much.
What the.. I thought it was season 1
@@malllc2 updated my reply to match this haha. Thanks

Frost mage hard? LOOOOOOOOOL
I play mage and ele and i have more problems on my shamy then on my mage
Hard disagree, mage is easy compared to other casters. Mm is also hard and has a super high skill cap when its not overpowered randomly
