I don't know where you're getting your information from but Studies have shown that the ideal temperature is 12 degrees Celsius plus or minus 4 degrees or roughly 57° Fahrenheit plus or minus 6 degrees. So that's 51 to 63 degrees is the ideal conditions. However covid19 is highly infectious outside of that range too

My question is how good is it to have gowns, head cover, gloves and masks when the eyes, and neck area is exposed? Medical employees may as well be PPE free if they will provide a PPE that is a very silly one that does not protect well. Another question is, why is the country not enforcing masks in public yet? To not cause anxiety? To not scare people??? It’s already a pandemic. We may as well approach it as drastic as China did as they were able to control it quickly with the approach that they used. Make it required for everyone to wear masks in public. Just the other day, my coworker sneezed without covering her mouth... American PPE is a joke. It does not protect medical employees and it does a poor job of preventing the spread of the virus. “We’re going to handle it” is an empty promise. Masks should be required while out in public at least for the next 4 weeks IMO.

Most importantly, if you are carrying the virus, it stops the droplet spreading out. You can't say why not only wear them when sick, because many might not even know they are carrying the virus if symptom is mild.

But when it was summer, covid 19 was still spreading. It's two months until they begin the winter winter and we are in the summer.
I don't know where you're getting your information from but Studies have shown that the ideal temperature is 12 degrees Celsius plus or minus 4 degrees or roughly 57° Fahrenheit plus or minus 6 degrees.
So that's 51 to 63 degrees is the ideal conditions. However covid19 is highly infectious outside of that range too

Having spent a lot of my life taking care of elderly people, I know how they can sometimes abbreviate huge concepts in ways that don’t make much sense. I really think he was concisely saying something like, ‘I’ve always been a lot like my professor uncle/my family has always commented on how our minds work alike & I have learned a lot from him over the years.’ But he did it in that odd older-person shorthand that leaves you saying, ‘huh?’ My grandma said stuff like that all the time and had the patience to explain when I had no fuggenidea what she meant lol. Hope this helps, I really don’t think he literally meant, ‘My professor uncle’s gene has somehow transferred all of his medical knowledge to me.’ You know?

My question is how good is it to have gowns, head cover, gloves and masks when the eyes, and neck area is exposed? Medical employees may as well be PPE free if they will provide a PPE that is a very silly one that does not protect well.
Another question is, why is the country not enforcing masks in public yet? To not cause anxiety? To not scare people??? It’s already a pandemic. We may as well approach it as drastic as China did as they were able to control it quickly with the approach that they used. Make it required for everyone to wear masks in public. Just the other day, my coworker sneezed without covering her mouth...
American PPE is a joke. It does not protect medical employees and it does a poor job of preventing the spread of the virus. “We’re going to handle it” is an empty promise. Masks should be required while out in public at least for the next 4 weeks IMO.

No one wants to have this happen in their country but I think they did the best they could. Remember the world was making fun of China when they lockdown WuHan? And see how many countries have locked down today? We have more than a month to prepare, China already showed us how fast and how serious the transmission could be and what have we done? And back to the topic about mask, Taiwan is only 80 miles from China with a lot of population work or related directly/indirectly in China. Taiwan government worked tirelessly to distribute mask to every citizen since January after the WuHan lockdown and as for now, 77 confirm cases with 1 death, with population of 23 million all packed on an island with only 14 thousand square miles. Yes, wearing a mask might not help to fully prevent from infection if the virus gets in through eyes, but it reduces the chance and avoid you from touching your face directly. Most importantly, if you are carrying the virus, it stops the droplet spreading out. You can't say why not only wear them when sick, because many might not even know they are carrying the virus if symptom is mild.
