Thank you for the video. at 5:24 when you sing the melody , you descend to the G rather than the E . its super funny to me because for some reason it is always hard for the ear to go down to the E. i just laughed by myself thinking that our brain wants to always go the dominant because it is more gravitating. and i think when she sings "i wish it wasnt true" the "i" that she sings is a G natural again rather than the flattened one

Finneas is a genius as Billie had said before. The two just have something special. This was a very interesting dissection of HTE, especially with the golden ratio part.

Pardon me Treble Woofer but here's one that I almost guarantee will be a delightful experience if you have the time . For your enjoyment, you might listen to the LIVE NIGHTWISH song "GHOST LOVE SCORE" (10 minutes) live from WACKEN (Deutschland) 2013, featuring the lead singer FLOOR JANSEN (Dutch). Nightwish is a SYMPHONIC METAL BAND from FINLAND and the Keyboardist is the composer behind most the music - the band is awesome. THAT's "GHOST LOVE SCORE" - it has to be that version with Floor Jansen and Nighwish at WACKEN; [There's one in Argentina, too but the WACKEN (2013) IS THE ONE TO WATCH - the crowd is 82,000 fans].

    You really talk too much.

You were doing just fine until you had to muddy up with golden ratio nonsense. No part of art can ever be reduced to a formula.

100% agree with you - - art isn't formulaic. The golden ratio is a "happy accident" if you will :)
