Thank you for the video. at 5:24 when you sing the melody , you descend to the G rather than the E . its super funny to me because for some reason it is always hard for the ear to go down to the E. i just laughed by myself thinking that our brain wants to always go the dominant because it is more gravitating. and i think when she sings "i wish it wasnt true" the "i" that she sings is a G natural again rather than the flattened one

THAT's "GHOST LOVE SCORE" - it has to be that version with Floor Jansen and Nighwish at WACKEN; [There's one in Argentina, too but the WACKEN (2013) IS THE ONE TO WATCH - the crowd is 82,000 fans].

You were doing just fine until you had to muddy up with golden ratio nonsense. No part of art can ever be reduced to a formula.
100% agree with you - - art isn't formulaic. The golden ratio is a "happy accident" if you will :)
