I don't think that's a scratch. Glass has a higher Rockwell hardness factor than metal, same way a sharpening stone gets metal deposited onto it from a knife. More likely it's steel being "cut" and deposited on to the glass. Your polishing removed the metal.
Cool story bro, I have a mate who’s an expert on cool story’s I’ll have to run it by him. As a gold prospector I use MOHs scale of hardness so I know what you mean. But I assure you this was a deep scratch a good few millimetres deep. Perhaps some quartz or granite in the mud that’s splashed up while offroad has been dragged across the windshield…
Will you be making a video titled, "Fixing a dented hood, caused by sitting on it, while repairing a scratched windshield"?
Maybe lol
That's fantastic. One of the best methods I've seen. 👍
Nice idea, what if no buffing machine is available at home? I mean can it be done with hands?
I suppose technically it could be. You’d have to be pretty dedicated though. Would take days of hard yakka…
P R O M O S M 🌟
I clicked on this for a windshield not a windscreen.
You lost me at the end with the loud horrible music.....
Im guessing you’re over 55..? I’ll slap up some Mozart next time…😉
I have this problem on the rear window of my Fiat 500.
Hilarious 😂 well done though !
I gotta know mate would this work on foggy headlights
I haven’t tried but I reckon it would 👍🏻
Crest toothpaste
Well done son
will done mate, superb work
Awesome job mate
Forget all that jazz. I rather pay 500 for windshield replacement.
Sometimes getting a new one is the way to go..
Lazy bum ya.
