aaaahh. did that flight once. aer lingus so cozy, and give you a great feeling, especially with the irish announcement and the dublin posh accent. also dublin airport, i just love it!
Any seat in the first coach cabin between 12-29 is better - row 39a is towards the rear of the aircraft. I like row 20 or 21 and I found the aisle seats ( D & G) in the center of 4 have more room than the 2 seater ( A C or H K)
Not surprised by that, the long-haul operation has taken a hit because of the economic downturn. The overall load factors are still doing quite well at 70% for long-haul and 80% for short-haul.
I am flying Aer LIngus back to DC from Edinburgh next month. Because of the A330 crash with Air France and because I am a very nervous passenger, I was hoping you can tell me how the flight compared with flying on a 737. Did you feel safe?
Aer Lingus Should Fly to Antalya... Or Sharm El Sheikh / Hurghada they are big holiday destinations in the UK and Sharm is big this year with thomson... Thomson are overpriced though
It won't be used at the Gatwick base, it would be pointless for flights such as Gatwick-Malaga or Gatwick-Vienna as most of the passengers on board would be British and wouldn't understand. The Gatwick-Dublin flights and all other flights into Dublin, Shannon and Cork will still use it as they are Irish based crew.
" oh boy Shamus I shouldn't have had that pint before we landed came in fast and hard"....." Well I did the same thing to your wife last night and she didn't mind"...."bahhaha let's go have a pint at Shannon's before flying back lad"
That was a hard touch down. Slight bounce as well because the spoilers didn't go on all the way. Airbus is no better than boeing and Boeing is no better than airbus. And the A380 sure isn't a success story yet, before you rave on about the 787 delays.
Great quality video, hope you had a good flight with Aer Lingus. Nice to hear the United Airlines code share reference as well.
I love all the sounds at the beginning of the video. The announcement, the grumble of the engines, and that ding sound.... ahhhhhhhh I love it! :D
Beautiful video ... this bird is so graceful Thank you

No, I heard the steward saying that there were only 136 passengers on board
