A "full emergency" was declared at Dublin Airport this afternoon after the front wheel of the plane malfunctioned as it landed. A Ryanair flight from Liverpool to Dublin Airport was the plane involved in the incident. The airport's Fire Service responded to the incident while the passengers remained on board. Thankfully, no passengers were injured in the ordeal and they disembarked from the plane in a normal fashion before buses took them to the airport. Air traffic into the airport was temporarily suspended while the emergency services dealt with the incident. It is understood there was debris from the incident left on the runway. A Dublin Airport Authority spokesman said: "A Full Emergency was declared at Dublin Airport this afternoon update following the arrival of Ryanair flight FR5542 from Liverpool.
I would've thought in an emergency landing the passengers would be evacuated via the slides as soon as possible, but here they seem to have left them on

Looks like the nose landing gear buckled, luckily pilots train for this and everyone was safe
I wonder if Ryanair alleged harder landing and higher brake settings may have anything to do with this possibly lowering the service life of the tyre?
