- All members of the 2007-2008 Duke Men's basketball team scrimmaged during camp except Gerald Henderson (grandmother passed). Players include: Greg Paulus, Demarcus Nelson, Kyle Singler, Jon Scheyer, Lance Thomas, Nolan Smith, Taylor King, David McClure, Brian Zoubek, and Martynas Pocius. These are highlights. Full DVD is on ebay.
Nolan definitely already has the best handles on the team. He crossed over Paulus on two times on the way to the basket. He will definitely contribute this year a lot. Paulus better watch his back because Nolan can actually shoot off the dribble.
i agree ..i think he will be a star at that school
King has the potential to be a JJ type shooter honestly. Hes got the height, skill and most importantly, the mentality to be one of the best shooters ever in the ACC
dam i cant wait to see these guys in action, we are definitely one of the most talented teams in the nation, with a another post player, whether its Monroe Cryz or Riek, we will be top 3 team next year

last year i had the feeling they wouldnt mesh well mainly cuz of mcroberts, but i have a very good feeling bout this group....something bout them...anybody else getting this feeling
WOW I was proably there see my step-brother was there (at the camp) in 2008 so it was awsome even though I wasnt in the camp I got to see what they were doing yea so hahahaha I'M SO RANDOM
duke has alot in their arsenal this year. with their three new recriuts they will be awesome. but if only mcrobberts wouldnt have went pro, that still makes me sick. but they will be good. carolina better wach out

Paulus has shown a lot of maturation since his freshman year: he's improved both as a decision maker and a game runner, and he's also developed tremendously as a shooter and offensive presence.
Plus, this year's freshmen are incredible. Kyle Singler more than makes up for McRoberts in terms of his versatility and mid-range shot. I'm sure any Duke fan will agree that this year's team is a lot more promising than, say, last year's. Ring in '09? I sure as hell hope so!
Duke should be a 20-8 regular season type team this year, last year was a fluke b/c they lacked experience and athleticism. with dead weight mcroberts gone they should be alright.. let's hope dmac can get his swerve back!
Duke does have talent this year. Young talent which is good. I don't expect them to be really great without McRoberts but hopefully they can learn and make up for the loss. They will be alright this season. Let's go Duke!

Greg Paulus really grew up from his freshman year. I remember him dishing the ball off to JJ and Shelden. Now look at him. All ACC performer. 2nd round pick written all over him.
Is Scheyer going to play the rest of his college career? He looks like a little kid out there? Don't mean to be down on that dude, but let's be real...
He better. He has the tools to shut down Ellington from UNC and maybe even Lawson.
Amazing. I've seen him shoot 30 footers with a sweet stroke.

please tell me Coach K is still not starting Greg Paulus at Point Guard, DeMarcus Nelson should be Duke starting PG with Henderson playing SG, Paulus is wild he turns the ball over way too much and well overall he is just not that good but for some reason Coach K loves him

due to there poor schedule strength, i believe thell do a bit better than that, maybe 24-4.
Both loses to UNC, marquette, and a maryland upset.
( By the way a am a huge duke fan, just not a uber leet skeet fan like unc fans, :P )
Hes a better true point but Paulus is a better 3 point threat. Also Paulus is to slow to gaurd top point gaurds. Nolan should be running the point more this year, probably a 50/50 split....
Nolan Smith is clearly the most talented player out there. Makes it look easy.
