Hey, love your videos, great content! @3:50 when you rolled the window down it slowed down like in Lexus cars. I wanted to know if that’s another thing youve added to the car? If so, can you please share how and where I can get it. Thanks 🙏🏻
Can wait to start putting the mods on mine and getting it tinted and doing the overlay in the back and making her louder not hella loud but lil more then she is now and I want black tips!!
I gave it a second of thought as I folded my mirrors in before pulling into the garage. Nope, because it would be another electrical failure point and to time consuming. Great video though!!
Ah yes... the dreaded power folding mirrors. I have this installed, lets just say this was the most invasive, time-consuming and non DIY friendly thing you can do for the Camry. Its a pretty cool and nifty feature, but I have to say it really serves absolutely no purpose because the stock mirrors can fold in, so really you will go through hours of headache and anxiety to save yourself 2 seconds to physically fold in the mirror yourself lol.
I had the video recording for this install sitting in my phone for over a year now. Lol people been bugging me about it for two years. I hated editing this video as much as I hate installing the damn mirrors. The only good thing about this install is that you don’t need much to do it. You just need a ton of patience and time.
No but there are different versions out there that have that feature. The ones I’ve installed didn’t have that. But I know someone who does have it that lives near me.. kinda glad I don’t have that lol
I have the ones when Hi-rev first sold them. So I most likely have that version. Bummer. I’ve been sitting on these til a decent video come out. Thanks
Jay.. i have a 2024 SE I bought off a Local lot. They do not last long. I wanted heated seats.. i also have heated steering wheel and rear view mirrors and a couple other upgrades. I am getting windows tinted and chrome delete. Its a nice car but I have to say if one more person tells me they never would have bought the car without push button start I well I dont know. Its just annoying. I didnt even think about it at the time. Why is that so important? I will say the only thing I dont like is the hole in the back of the center consile where the air/ heat vents would have been. I feel like that could have been solid.
@@crimsonkamuri it didnt even cross my mind until people started pointing it out. I didnt know anything about different option packages on toyotas. I had always owned Hondas till this point. .. I love the car but now people pointing that out have made me feel like I made a mistake. Its dumb how a little thing like that can bother me
@@carlasemancikI myself bought the Toyota Camry xse but mines is 2021 I’ve owned it for two years mines is silver with black roof , mirrors and emblems, with all red interior and a panoramic sunroof where almost the whole roof is glass . That’s why I bought the xse for upgraded features. They have Le , SE , XLE and XSE . But I’m sure if you bought a car from Toyota them certain upgrades they could of added for you and I have seen an se with push to start before . Toyota also offers an XP upgrade on the se so you get nice big rims that are like gold color and a different grille and stuff. I myself hated keys it feels so good not to shuffle threw my coat or bag looking for keys as long as they’re on me I can touch the door it unlocks and i hit the button and it starts up it’s so convenient . LE = luxury edition ( more affordable ) XLE =extreme luxury edition which has many more features but looks like the LE SE= sports edition XSE= extreme sports edition which is same as the SE but with glass roof and push to start and vents for heat/ ac like where you said you had that hole in the back seat the xse has vents and more speakers, horsepower . But with features comes more money so it all depends on budget and what you like . But If you stick with Toyota next time I would definitely get the xse it’s amazing and you will get all the features plus more . Just figured i would give you a little break down on each one so you have a better idea.
@@boobierubi8567 i did a little research after I bought my car and realized the add ons and different trim levels. I have heated seats.. mirrors and steering wheel plus a few other small features. I added a remote start which is programmed to my key fob. Maybe a few years from now I will trade in for a new model. Let the 2025 work out some kinks. I just got the windows tinted today. She is a lower trim and maybe not as many features but she’s still cute and fun to drive.
@@carlasemancik yeah for an se that has pretty good upgrades though I think the heated steering wheel is called the winter package so the fact you got the heated steering wheel and seats is a great upgrade . Maybe Toyota can offer the upgrade considering your car is brand new if you decided to go that route and get the push to start. But I myself can’t wait to see the 2025 but I refuse to buy it because there will probably be 5 recalls on it so I will wait to 2026 or 2027 see what they offer lol . But congrats and hope you love the car I love my Camry and I never thought I would say that because I always owned bmw which can be money pits so that’s why I switched to Toyota to save money and have something reliable for a change . And once you add your finishing touches a key won’t matter don’t let people ruin your joy it’s only a key no big deal long as you enjoy the rest of the car then that’s all that matters .
Someone installed that on my 2018 XSE Camry a few years ago, and the passenger side is very loose now, it still folds and everything, but it's super loose...any recommendations brother?
So… what I’m gathering is that, if I don’t have blind spot monitoring or the turn signals on my side mirrors, then I won’t have anywhere for the power folding harness to plug into?
@@crimsonkamuri I was going to do an install that requires me to run a wire through there so I wasn’t sure. Plan on adding the integrated signal mirrors to my car
Any idea on what something like this costs? How many hours did it take someone like you who looks to be a pro at this :). What other mods would you recommend when doing all this work such as a car starter which requires the same panels in the dash off btw and plugs etc. I see you are in the Philly area, come to your or you go where the car is? There is no way in hell I would try and do this. I would never be able, to get everything back together. Something tells me this isn't your first rodeo.
Well obviously….. I have it on my car already. This was my second time doing it ever. The difficulty level of this install is the hardest one you’re going to see me post on this channel. Y’all asked for it
This is just as time consuming as putting carbon fiber door handles on. I will not do that again and instead get covers. You have to tear the WHOLE inside door apart including moving the window up and down, removing the plastic, and the side jamb stuff. Actually, the handles might have this install beat.
door handles replacements aren’t even bad. You probably had a bad experience for your first try but reality is each door handle only takes like 5 minutes to install. You’re wild for even comparing that difficulty to the pf mirror install. 😂

Great Vid with very detailed installation, but the mod is very expensive for something that is not very user friendly

Nice job! Want this mod SO bad.
Very convenient modification that anyone with any trim could benefit from. I encourage it if you can manage this horrible lengthy install 😂
I gave it a second of thought as I folded my mirrors in before pulling into the garage. Nope, because it would be another electrical failure point and to time consuming. Great video though!!
Never hear of anyone having an electrical failure that sounds like an installer error to me. Follow the guide youll be alright
@@crimsonkamuri I should have said potential failure point long term.

You gotta get back inside the mirror on the bottom and add some Loctite to the loose screws and tighten them again

So… what I’m gathering is that, if I don’t have blind spot monitoring or the turn signals on my side mirrors, then I won’t have anywhere for the power folding harness to plug into?
Correct. The mirrors that don’t have those features are made differently inside. Therefore the aftermarket motor will not be compatible.
