Colombian Legend You can take it to an auto shop. They can install it and shouldn’t cost much to install at all.

I was watching the video and would like to know how you can install the light that is in the mirror. In the video at the beginning the mirror that you are disassembling does not have the yellow Z and at the end of the video the mirror with the light appears?
when he disassemble the mirror to fit in the new motor I didn't see him take out the turn signal, did he add it later? and did he use the same painted white back cover?

So the lights on that mirror was added on afterwards on that Sports 2.0T? I know the Sports 2.0T only had heated mirrors that's why.
@@volcalstone Yes, this video features a 1.5T Sport with the mirror housing of an EXL/Touring but mirror and mirror adjuster module of a sport. Its custom setup made from many varying parts. Shown only for the purpose of demonstrating how to mount the mirrors and connect the power folding wiring.

Yes, you will need this motor kit as your OEM mirrors do not have motors in them.

Is the motor able to be used on other cars?? I’m struggling finding jdm 5th gen subí legacy mirrors but I have the proper button for my car and can just use these motors for it
Great work. Exactly, a lot of patience is needed to do this. I just ordered my module and I look forward to the challenge. Question for you though. I have the 2018 Accord Touring, do I need anything special as it relates to wiring. Or this is just a direct plug and play module except for the wiring splicing for power on the yellow 12v?
Unfortunately the folding mirror motor kit will not work with touring trims. The shape of the bracket that holds the mirror to the hinge is different from all other trims.
@@XGENAUTO well that sucks. Something like this is definitely needed on the Touring model if anything. Why not make a different bracket just for EX-L and Touring? I would definitely do this mod but now I can't.

@@volcalstone Getting this to fit on the EXL and Touring trims will take some significant R&D as the motor housing is a single injection molded piece and making a variation just for these trims is not easy. There is a possibility of getting it to fit through modification of the existing motor housing but we so not have access to an EXL or Touring trim at the moment to test out these modifications.

The folding mirror wiring does not affect your OEM features and wiring. If you want to add heated mirrors you will need to custom wire that in or get a harness from Honda that will support that feature. The Sport 1.5 door harness does not have the necessary wiring for the heated mirrors.

Installed these on my 2022 Civic Si....having issues...lock button on FOB opens the mirrors....unlock button on FOB closes the mirrors. And they do not open with keying car on ! Any ideas ? ...Thx
Your motor wires are reversed. Simply reverse the wires as specified on our troubleshooting guide or if your kit comes with a reversible connector reverse the polarity that way. Folding will not work with remote start since the car is in a security mode that limits powered accessories. You will need to hit the start engine button after remote start and use the button on the window control to fold them out.

Different cars. The one being used to show the folding mechanism has a turn signal on the mirror.

The mirror base plate is totally different. The bolts don't line up. Same on my 2020 CRV TOURING

Yes! This will work great with the 2.0T sport. There may be just a few more wires to de-pin / splice when removing the OEM mount.

No it will not. Only for Accord 10th Gens (LX, Sport, and EX Trims Only)
@@XGENAUTO hello..in need of a little clarification. You mentioned that it works for the 10th gen Accords (certain trims) but only listed 2018-2020. Does it work on the 2021s.. specifically the 2021 sport 1.5? Only asking because the year 2021 isn't listed and, you didn't come back and edit the description to add it, if it does fit.

Negative. The touring mirrors have a different base and NOTHING works on them. I have same issue with my 2020 CRV TOURING.
