I don’t think that could be true. My MT09 feels like it begrudgingly does it, I can’t imagine that a bike with 1/3 of the motor would be a good high speed ride.
Hi I recently got a r3 as well and I'm wondering if the sound around 10:03 - 10:04 while shifting up is normal. I sometimes get that sounds and I'm wondering if it's cuz I'm not shifting smoothly.
i wanted to ask if biker jackets and pants are really that important for protection or if a good helmet, gloves and shoes will be enough to confidently go on the road
Most people will just put helmet, gloves and shoes. But if you ever in an accident or fall off the bike you going to get very bad road rash or cuts.Having protection is the best way to protect yourself obviously you can get a broken bone or even worse when in a accident. Sometimes is better to be overprotective than under protective.
I like how the r3 look, it just caught my attention when I saw them in person. Don’t get me wrong the ninja 400 is a beautiful bike as well and faster than the r3. It’s just going to come down your preference and which one you feel comfortable riding. I recommend you to go to a dealer and look at which one you like or suits you the best and sit on them to have a feel which one you feel the most comfortable.
Haven't rode the 400 but I've had my R3 for going on 3 years now. Phenomenal experience, do yourself a favor though and get the Corbin seat, anti fog visor insert, and heated grips. The seat will be the biggest thing, the stock one will hurt your nuts about 45 miles in for some reason
if its your first time riding i suggest the r3 or ninja 400. I think there is a ninja 500 which is 451cc. its basically like the ninja 400 but just little bit of hp and torque.
If you are new to riding then the r3, cbr300r or ninja 400 is good choice. If you want something with a little bit more power then you have cbr500r or ninja 500. I went for the r3 because I loved the aggressive look and it was comfortable. Since you are new to riding I will go for the r3 or ninja 400 for the best starting bike. Hope this helps
I love 300s but ALWAYS buy these used. Never spend more than like $3000 on these bikes. You'll outgrow then in like 5 months and nobody's gonna pay more than about that much when you go to sell it. They're basically toys
I mean yeah you going to outgrow them but I won’t sell my bike. It has good memories to me and it’s one of my first bikes that i bought and fun to ride around town anytime. Obviously a 600cc or 1000cc would be way better.
@@osnowdeal dealership wanted to overcharge me at the end so i said no 🥲 however i‘ve been building my e92 meantime and will be going to a further dealer in 2 weeks so hopefully it plays out now :)

How does the R3 handle interstate speeds?
It handles pretty good on the interstate

@@SludgedBAgreed and I’m also 6’2 215 lbs so that could hinder capabilities
my R3 is fine on the highway.... 6th gear 7,500 RPM's is about 120km/ph (75 mph) which is smooth for the most part @@SludgedB
Did yours come in black from factory? The dealer I went to only had the blue variations
It’s factory the dealership that I went had blue and black. I know that r3 has 3 colorway blue, black and midnight purple.
