@@sweetsadiehoney Dave, I have got same bucket as yours and put some plastic honey gate from Amazon. Made a hole that is nice fit to the gate but the thin silicone gasket does not stay put when tighten nut inside the bucket. So it leaks in the connection bucket-gate. Could you share the link on the hone gate you are using? Thank you.
@@slavkochepasov8134 I bought the bucket I am using from our local bee supply store, and it came with the honey gate already installed. I'm sure good quality gates can be purchased through HillCo,, Dadant or Mann Lake.
Thanks for the great tips!
Our pleasure! Hope they help.
thank you.
Tip #1 is awesome! Very practical for small operations. Thank you Dave.
Glad we can help! We are all basically small operations. Let's share those things that make it all just a bit easier.

@@sweetsadiehoney Agree. I am testing my luck with the Mann Lake at this time :)
Great.
Next tip: use a heat blower to remove caps. Fast and no way honey mixture to deal with. But put up a shield as the wax pops off the cells.
