I cant even begin to comprehend how much work you put into these videos. The amount of time you spend working alone and editing, moving the camera, doing voiceovers, etc... ON TOP OF THE ACTUAL RESTORATION ITSELF.. just blows my mind. You deserve all of your success, and more. There's nothing I appreciate more than a well produced video.. and every time you upload I continue to be impressed.

Throughout his video I noticed his hand positions, you can tell that he has delicacy but at the same time a small amount of strength to really make all that gunk come off. It's truly amazing

    Questions for Julian!!!
    1. do you work on multiple pieces of artwork at a time, or do you complete one from start to finish and then start another?
    2. you mentioned in the 3rd part of this series that you were taught some conservation knowledge by your father. how long has conservation work been in your family?
    3. are ‘abstract’ pieces more difficult to work with than ‘traditional’ or ‘realistic’ pieces?
    4. what has been your favorite/least favorite piece that you’ve worked on (most difficult, had the best results, etc.)?

I have watched so many of your videos where you explain what and why you are doing, and what you are removing, that I found myself saying what you were doing and using. I have learned so much. Great job always.

I think the reason I enjoy these videos so much is that he doesn't talk in them but he takes the time to show you how he does this and makes it somehow so enjoyable. I love just sitting here thinking" what's he doing now? How do you use that? How does that even work?! This is amazing! God I love history and restoring things..now I kinda want to clean some of those things outside.."

I used to watch your videos completely on mute and had no idea you were even talking....until one day the caption was on and it was fully narrated. Ever since i have eother listened or read your captions because it so relaxing... finding this old video that i missed completely free of narration has reminded me why i watched restoration videos on mute...they are so relaxing. I will probably keep listening to your videos but i may start watching other restoration videos on mute again.

The staples!! Oh my goodness!! There were so many staples. Whoever restored this before got staple happy. Julian, you did an amazing job as always. That was one dirty painting. Besides old varnish and dirt, it looked like there may have been some tar and nicotine from cigarette smoke. Thanks for this great video.

I just said the most serious "SHUT UP" as I clicked on this video with the widest eyes I've had in a while. Just yesterday I found myself once again watching/listening to Guy Wiggins' Frame Restoration in ASMR style, wishing I could make a comment for you to see on such an old video about how I wish more versions like that existed. And now I see this, as I am stressing over finals week like never before, good Heavens it's like an early birthday present. Thank you Juliannnnnn
