After 13 long weeks... I’m finally back after earning the title of a United States Marine. Here’s a little overview of what to expect from Boot Camp aswell with how I reacted to bootcamp through my own experience. Unfortunately it would take me multiple hours to explain all the details about my experience but here’s a brief explanation presented in this video. Check out my socials below!

This video is getting way more attention then I thought it would! Thank you so much for everyone that has subscribed 🙏🔥 I cant film while in training so be patient for my next video. I’ll get one out as soon as possible. Let me know what other topics I should cover. Make sure to like and subscribe. Thank you ✊🏻
Simeon Kurosky thanks for ur service
Don’t film anything boot
Ryan Parish I’m not filming during training lol
Simeon Kurosky apparently you don’t understand what I said
Ryan Parish no worries I understand 👌🏼
This dude came back and found out we almost started WW3, Kobe died, and we are in a middle of a world wide pandemic.
UnorthodoxHD haahahaha
UnorthodoxHD lmao bro fr. They told me about corona two days before graduation. I was confused why there was no toilet paper
I was in bootcamp during Iran and Kobe then I was in mct during carona. That shit was nuts
Most of the military seems to be operating as normal . Makes you really question how deadly this virus really is .. Social distancing doesn't exist for service men
Wulfz lair we definitely aren’t 💀💀💀they got us doing stupid shit tbh
I'm now 83, but when I was home on boot leave after leaving Parris Island I was in downtown West Palm Beach wearing my summer "tropicals". Coming out of a movie theater I caught sight of an officer, just a glance out of the corner of my eye but it was enough for a raw kid like me. I popped him a smart salute as he walked by, and then behind me I heard him laughing. I was certain my salute was presented correctly. I turned around and discovered a yacht captain from one of the yachts tied up along the docks a few blocks away. My eye had seen the "scrambled eggs" on the bill of his cover and I had reacted as I had been trained. He came over, still laughing, and shook my hand and told me he had been a Navy man and he understood why I had saluted.
Thank you for your service, I hope to follow in your footsteps
That too funny! SEMPER FI
Haha
Laughs*
West palm beach is where I enlisted. Good times.
For those worried about boot camp. I was once in your shoes. It’s not even that bad . Just do what you’re told. The more fit you are, the EASIER boot camp will be for you. If you go in out of shape or “barely” passing the PT requirements, you are going to have a rough time. Do what you’re told, be fit, and it’ll be easy!
hondo yeah you’re spot on. A lot of people join barely passing the IST and some get dropped in bootcamp because they joined while in bad shape. A lot of chubby guys improve quickly in boot but it’s definitely not smart to put yourself in that situation haha
Simeon Kurosky 2 months before I leave and I just barely pass the ist 12:06 run, 90 crunches, N 6 pull ups. Gotta grind even more I guess
Super Saiyan Aidan yes you need a lot of work and I’m not saying that to bring you down. Focus on running , and those pull ups. Sit-ups as well. Run 5 days a week. Pull ups 3-4 times a week. Sit-ups 3-4 times a week as well. Try different abs workouts from time to time. You got this
hondo thsnks bods will do
@@killla and eat. Remember to allow your body to digest the food, to relax, and enjoy your fucking sleep.
Rag on the kid all you want for being a boot, but he seems like a good honest dude and will make a great marine. Down to earth, not blowing smoke, no overinflated ego. Keep up the good work brother. Don’t let the lazy and disgruntled marines bring you down. It’s a cancer. Best of luck to you in your Marine Corps career, and stay safe out there with all this bullshit going on. USMC 2012-2016.
Great advice, Andrew. Stay away from the bitching-boys.
AndrewChabak thank you brother! I really appreciate it! It is a little strange while corona is going around but there’s great leadership over her in Pensacola where I’m at for MOS school. I’ll stay out of trouble 🙌
Simeon Kurosky great to hear man. I’m sure MCT was a breeze. Take care of yourself and have some fun down there. Wishing nothing but good health and safety to yourself, your family and fellow marines. Semper Fi kid💪🏼
Is it really ragging on the him though all of us that are marines know we were just as boot as he is currently when we got out🤣 takes time to faze that mentality just a bit but semper Fi Brother!!
Gaming Exotics - yes indeed, stay positive
when you're only 15 watching these kinds of videos lol, because you're hoping to be a future marine.
Update: I made this post a couple weeks before turning 16, but I turned 17 over summer and went to meps, my ship date for now is june 22, 2022.
Update: just got my ship date moved to June 6th, 2022. Nervous and excited 😭
I'm 16 turning 17, and want to be a marine but my family won't let me lol, they prefer Navy since it's the "safest" branch
Patriotic_Isaiah 17 i don’t know much, but honestly if you really wanna be a marine just wait until your 18 🤷🏻♀️ and get an extra year of preparation. But I mean navy’s a good option too.
Make sure to do your research on the job you want and don’t settle. Let me know if you have any questions 🙏
Don’t do it trust me
Fishing Frenzy thanks for your opinion, but it’s been my dream since I was a little girl.. just following my dads footsteps 🤷🏻♀️😂
Has 4 years to wear skivvy shirts
Wears them on boot leave
My assumption is because he went air wing he has five years.
@@Foreverholy727 not all air wingers got 5 years ordnanceman only got 4 years I think there the only air wingers that got 4 years on contract
Nicholas Bunnell yeah my contract is 4-years. Although no more Tactees for me anymore. All cotton tees on the airwing haha
Boot
Simeon Kurosky literally nobody cares
Been 3 years since i left the Corps. Glad to see you made it through. Still a boot but atleast you aren't a shower shoe anymore. Remember to defend the constitution and play it smart out there.
slayerface09 thank you for the advice! I appreciate it 👌🏼👍
@@simeon_kurosky Semper Fi. I also add to make sure you have all of your medical records when you do eventually leave the corps. You will come across alot of asshole Cpl's and Sgt's in the beginning. But after awhile you will come into your own. Hell my brother just left the Corps 4 months ago off of a 5 year contract.
It's been 61 years since I left the Corps, but "slayerface09" has given good advice.
Congrats Marine on passing bootcamp. Let me tell you about my Marine Corps career: I went in December, 2000. Like you I also got pneumonia during bootcamp but I got over it with aggressive antibiotic treatments. Platoon 1129 at MCRD San Diego. Went to School of Infantry (SOI) in Camp Pen after that. After some hardcore training I became an infantry riflemen. Decided to take it a step further and stayed for Machine Gunner school and earned the MOS title of 0331 (humping the receiver of the M2 .50 cal receiver damn near broke me). Got sent to my unit after that which was the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment (3/1). Not long after that went to advanced infantry school at 1st MAR DIV (serious hardcore training, harder than bootcamp). 2002 had my 1st West-Pac with the 11th MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit). 2003 got sent to OIF I, the invasion of Iraq. 2004 was involved in combat operations in Anbar Provence, Iraq and partook in Operation Phantom Fury (google it) in December of that year. January of 2005 I was discharged from the Marine Corps with an honorable discharge. Earned the rank of Sargent (E-5) at the very end. I joined the Marine Corps because I wanted to be a Marine. Now for the bad news: I've seen a lot of Marines screw up and make a lot of bad decisions during their time in service. When they got out it was hard for them to get a job because of their bad record. You'll see what I'm talking about as time goes on. Don't do anything that would cause shame or embarrassment on the uniform you wear and you'll have a great time for however long your serve your country.
D Mac 0331 thank you very much for sharing and thank you for your service! I appreciate the advice 🙏
Good for you son. Thank you for your service. My grandson graduated high in June of 18 and went to Parris Island July 23rd 18. @Simeon Kurosky I just enlisted into the Marines, entered dep so I can finish my senior year so I won’t ship out until July or August of next year. I go to meps on Tuesday, I have that feeling you have before you ride a rollercoaster lol.
My son just got out of the 2 week quarantine and his first full day was today, my daughter is a Marine veteran, and I'm a Navy veteran. Thanks for all of your information and first hand experience. My son is at MCRD as well. Thank you for your service!
I wanna do this soo bad !. Seriously, Thanks so much for this video. Ive been wanting to join since my middle school years. I’m currently a senior 12’th grade & I’m still working on my school credits to graduate and receive my diploma. I need about 60 more credits to graduate. Lately things have been difficult school wise, due to the corona virus situation that’s been interfering with my school district and school. Anyways My b-day was today the 29th of March and I just turned 18 so I’m able to join as soon as I graduate. This gives me confidence knowing you made it & I admire anyone who has the courage to do this. In general I think any force is bad ass but I’ve always had a thing for the marines specifically. Anything thanks and congrats on becoming a Marine.!
Jasmin Robles glad u liked the video! Happy birthday 🎉🎂 and also if you need help and have any questions let me know! Socials are all @simeon_kurosky 🔥
Simeon Kurosky Thank you ☺️ and gotcha !.
Dont do it, like there's so many more options, don't waste your youth on this. Like I'm sure you're not going into any 03 field which will be better but it's still all shit anyways. Shit chain of command, and work hours are ass, you dont get paid as much as you would a normal job for how much you work. Then you'll just be sad in your barracks room getting drunk and wasting your youth getting drunk every weekend lol it ain't it
you seem more humble than most marines i’ve met lol
t.crouse it’s the way my parents raised me, but also I haven’t accomplished much yet in my career so no reason to be cocky anyway haha
it’s because he’s barely a marine they haven’t drilled the culture into his head yet
Wait for him to be deployed or go into 11b then he'll start shitting on everybody else such as pogs coz thats what the corps is now all abt, pride, ego, kill & deployment achievements rather than the simple concept of serving to defend the country together as 1 unit.
John Wig it’s always been like that that’s what happens when you put young kids through what they do but my experience has been fun and still got a year and a half to go
John Wig I am a POG. I have an aviation support contract. I understand everything y’all are saying. I’ve heard a lot of bad and good experiences. I’ll try to be as positive as possible. 🙏
I shipped on August 19th 2019 and graduated November 15th with bravo company on parris island. Congrats and enjoy your boot leave. Prepare for lots of MRE's and no sleep during MCT.

@Dillon I don't think I did. Are you in training or LPT? I'm in 05-20

As a Marine (1960-1964) you might suggest that one's attitude while in boot camp and in life goes a long way to creating one's success. You might also suggest to anyone thinking about joining the Marines that they put there best effort out always. Doing less than that will help you to be less successful in the long run and can be even more difficult to overcome later on when you are truly challenged. Boot camp for most Marines later on in life is a great source for funny memories and recalled feelings of accomplishment. Good luck to you. Semper Fi.
i was alpha co. at MCRD SD, i remember echo co. being brand new and sharing a squadbay with you guys when we became marines and returned from pendleton, glad to see you guys finally made it out lmao
currently in high school and preparing myself to join the marine corps sometime in the next 2-4 years
Brianna Ortiz keep training and working hard 🔥
concentrate on running and pull ups, also if you make it, do not hear me again, do not drink alcohol with marines!
Ed Ramirez lol why
Make sure to prepare you’re self. Boot camp is full of crazy surprises.
@@shelots it always leads to bad decisions, and NJPs, try to follow the rules as much as you can, and avoid drinking at the barracks.
Aye devil! After 13 weeks of wearing skivvys every day you decide to wear them on boot leave
Jake Gadwill haha you’re right brother! You’re right
Aug. 3rd Parris Island. Can’t wait for the transformation
Mike Jurek awesome brother! Keep preparing physically ✊🏻 PFT and CFT scores make a big difference in future promotions. If you need anything let me know 🔥
If you really want a promotion just scream at the other recruits and be good a drill
Jose Hernandez I wasn’t good at drill near the beginning and that’s what screwed me over. I got a lot better during the real stuff in Pendleton
@@simeon_kurosky is that what they said the real stuff🤣 at MCT they tell you to forget every thing you learn a bootcamp forget tables 1&2 forget what you think the mainpacks are supposed to look like forget land nav forget patrol formations
Jose Hernandez haha ur right brother, about to start MCT 🙏👌🏼
Congrats Marine Remember to always carry yourself well and always have the discipline that has been instilled in you. Never do anything to embarrass yourself or the Marine Corps. You represent generations of Marines that have gone before you. You will be just fine, at times it may seem hard but there is nothing the Marines will ask of you that the generations of Marines before you have not gone through. You will meet some of the best people you will ever encounter in life and always have that attachment to them. I miss it daily and still keep in touch with the brothers and sisters I made in the Corps. Now you enter the hurry up and wait phase of your career. Semper Fi 1995-2005
Richard Murphy thank you very much! I appreciate it 🙏
Good shit. I've been in for almost a year now. I'm just going to say it's still one of the best things I've ever done. Bootcamp was cake in retrospect. Sure things sucked but in all honesty it doesn't last long. Just don't be stupid and actually try to pass your objectives.
(It's a cliche thing to say but bootcamp is getting easier. All Armed Forces training is getting easier. When I went through I just so happened to be put into one of the most notoriously difficult and shitty companies at Parris Island: 1 Battalion, Charlie Company. Golf Co. was also probably one of the crazier ones. We started with around 105 and fluctuated until we graduated with 67. The cycle right after mine completely changed. I've heard firsthand it's not the same anymore in that short period of time).
But it doesn't matter. Being a Marine is what you should be there for. You'll lose some of the motivation once you get to MCT and MOS school. Don't lose it. You'll do yourself a big disfavor. That's why people try to get out. It's a constant grind trust me but life gets harder before it gets easier. The Corps may bullshit with you but embrace it and try to keep your humanity. The Marines has shaped me and made me different from who I was. For better and in some cases for worse hahaha. I love the Corps. So never give up, never forget what you learned, and always try your best. Rah.
Discover Hope thank you for sharing your experience! I’ve been told a lot that is easier now and I can believe that for sure! ✊🏻
@@simeon_kurosky I've heard stories about what bootcamp was like throughout the decades. It's been way worse hahaha. But we're all still Marines. We have something more to uphold. And the shitbags do slip through so watch out for that. NJPs are not a joke.
best time to ship to boot is mid August. 0811 here, graduated last week😂
ALSO: for anyone about to ship soon, due to the corona virus there will be no 10 day boot leave. youre going straight to mct after boot then straight to your MoS school where youll most likely be quarentined and put on hold.

I've been in 2 years and 3 months, and so far it's pretty smooth. I've had many times where I've been angry at shitty field ops or bullshit, long days, but all in all the people I have met are the most caring, loving people in my life. The people is what makes it for me, the comraderie. I hope you're having fun in the schoolhouse! Don't underage drink!
For future reference, high and tights aren't regulation (they're considered eccentric) the only reason you get them in boot is tradition. And skivvy shirts are prohibited in civilian attire
Thanks for sharing your videos! As a Mom of a future Marine I hope my son watched them before he went in. I miss him like crazy...but find that watching videos like yours is really helping me understand what it is going to be like there and be a better support for him. I've always liked the idea of serving in the marine corps or any branch of the military for that matter, but I'm only 12 years old. Just have to wait 5 more years I guess.
Man its been a while since I was fresh on boot leave in Jan 2002. Signed up May 2001 DEP and went to MCRD SD Oct 22 2001. Our DI's were crazy hard on us, but we made it through. I had a similar situation as you, got pneumonia halfway through...battled it the whole time. Also got blisters on both heels that turned into full on cellulitis, cause I didn't report it at first and just pushed through the pain. Once I hit Camp Pendleton I hit my stride, never really had any issues from that time on and really felt good. Once I graduated I went on recruiters assistance/boot leave for a bit and then straight to MCT. That was a great time for me mainly for the fact we actually got to do some awesome stuff. After that I went straight to 0651 MOS school in 29 Palms. Right before my grandma passed she requested if I could see her so my NCOs said I should, so I did and when i came back they dropped me into the next class. Kind of sucked because i had the 3rd pick of duty station in my first class. In the second class i would have had 4th pick, but some buddy F'er request mast and argued since i was dropped in that i should get bottom pick. Well another guy had dropped in too, so he got last pick and i got 2nd to last. It was 3/7 (everybody was so scared of infantry lol) or North Carolina. Well I chose 3/7 cause OORAH!! So I joined 3/7 H&S as a data network specialist, got the boot treatment for a bit and then it was time for OIF. Served with some amazing Marines, some who gave the ultimate sacrifice most notably Cpl Jason Dunham. Over three tours with 3/7 I was overseas in Iraq more than garrison. I got tired of the new command preaching more about garrison discipline than what its actually like to be in a combat environment, so sadly I separated as a Sgt after 5 years (1 year extension). My body was beat up after putting in my all during those 5 years, but I got out knowing I gave the Marine Corps as much as I could. Do I miss it, Hell Yeah!! Semper Fidelis Marine and stay motivated!
Ray thanks you for sharing your story, and thank you for your service! Thank you for the motivation 🙏

Tiffany Marie consider navy or Air Force or army. Marines get the shit end of the stick. It’s not scary training does suck a lot, but it’s truly not hard. It is worth joining for benefits and opportunities after service
Tiffany Marie good question but you’re asking the wrong person as he literally just only got out of boot camp. Talk to vets about it. They’ve experienced it. And what you will hear the most about the Marine Corps is, “it’s what you make of it”

Parris island? Lima Company? June 17, 2019? If so, you were in the same company as me.
@@kricket5363 no I was San Diego Alpha company
Awesome video ! Thank you for your service and sacrifice ! Prayers for you and your family members ! Be safe !
Lee Mead thank you glad you liked it! Haven’t accomplished yet but thank u!
It's 11pm, at the hotel, leaving for San Diego tomorrow. Is it too late to prepare? Lmao
Aburnkatoo stay strong mentally brother. It’ll be a crazy challenge, but you got this ✊🏻
I bet he's not laughing right now.. enjoy the SUCK!
I've seen people who shouldn't be in the USMC make it through bootcamp. Just don't be a bitch and quit.
This very moment he’s going through hell
Poor fucking guy. He made this comment before goin in tryin to see what he was going in to.you best leg is know if you made it
There is one huge obstacle nobody talks about much . Lack of sleep. Coming off the street you are used to getting a LOT more sleep.
The alarm goes off and you hit the snooze. No more of that. You get woke up once and you get up now. Then from time to time you have some kind of security guard or fire guard in the night...2 hour shifts usually. As a civilian how often do you get woke up, stand there for two hours, then go back to bed ?? This lack of sleep affects how you feel while going through this totally new routine.
One of the best things to be aware of going in is that you will be tired. Plan for that and you will be one up on those who totally don't expect it...Good luck !
I leave in literally a week. These help rest my nerves but I know it won't prep me for everything.
How was it?
awee congrats on graduating, you are going places!!❤️🤧
Itzz. Deasia thank you! Appreciate the kind words :)
Simeon Kurosky you’re welcome love😘
Lol booooot. Bootcamp is literally the easiest thing in your entire Marine corps career. Also you should definitely show this to your NCOs. They love this shit. Seriously do it.
Lmaoo
Jack ass
Simeon, glad to see you made it. It was a nice video. I am a cook from building 569
Sam R thank u 🙏

Lucas Whitley 😂😭
Always faithful Always forward it most Definitely isn’t haha
🤣🤣🤣🤣 true statement
My dude SKIII love you brotha, brothers for life ❤️
Joe Kim hell yeah! Love ya brother. We’re gonna dominate MCT 🔥✊🏻
Well, I just heard another part when I was typing my last comment. The grad rate is not 75%. Unless the Corps has changed in the last 7 or 8 years, if a recruit wants to quit then the DI’s will make the platoon pay fucking hard while that recruit sits down and drinks water watching us. Only way people get dropped it the fail an area after 3 tries, breaking a bone, or any other medical reason, and of course trying to go AWOL. So, if the Corps lets you quit when you want to then I’m glad I got out. It’s gotten weak. DIs put a couple recruits in dryers and now everyone’s mommy is mad that Drill Instructor were mean to their baby, making them a Marine.
Did they turn the dryers on?
Lmao the whole military has changed. Air Force snakepit gone, army snoking gone, etc etc. I wouldnt say more softer but it is changing. Soft is highly objective
Thanks for the video man! Appreciate your service to the corps!
Prior army, going marines, waiting on this virus crap and tattoo waivers
Gotta love our tattoo policy’s
Tyler Bauer turns out I’m not qualified
Why you switching over?
Don’t do it bro, I’m trying to save your life. Just EAS bro.
@@jackpolakiewicz6836 damn man, I was about to give you props for goin DevilDog. What happened?
Keep a positive attitude and give it your best effort. It suck at times and it can be great at times. The military life IS different for everyone... mentally prepare yourself for what you can face, keep an open mind, and stay frosty. Semper Fi.
Pretty late but, why is it called "the peanut butter shot"?
No reason. That term is dumb and the shot wasn’t even that bad. Getting shots is the last thing you’ll be worried about in boot camp
I leave to Bootcamp next week 🇺🇸 I’ll recomment on one of ur videos when I successfully earned the title of a U.S Marine 🦅 🌎 ⚓️
good luck!
What kinda history knowledge do they teach about and have tests on???
You’re going to learn a lot of history strictly about Marine corps war heros, Medal of Honor winners, war time frames and places, etc. HMU on Snapchat @simeon_kurosky and I’ll try to show you the history list that we study when I get the time 👌🏼
I'm 16 and I have wanted to be a marine for 10 years and I can't wait
Going to basic this summer 😁
I'm hoping that you're still in service and haven't been poisoned by a toxic Marine.. You'll sure a hell have one or two who'll try to bring people down with there toxic thinking. But you seem like you're pretty Squared away and definitely take the Corps for what it is : A very serious time in your life.. The Honor, Respect , Courage and Discipline that comes with the title of United States Marine. Wish you well in your journey and most of all: Thank you for your Service...🇺🇸
Why you lying? It’s not hard.
Kelvin Flores Did you do it?
Joshua Ikoya yes I been in for a while
Kelvin Flores My RESPECTS BIG BRO! If I join, I look up to you, homie! Thank you for what you sacrificed!💪🏾
Joshua Ikoya lol
He never said it’s hard, he stated many times it’s not as bad as people say it is. But everyone has a different reaction to it and some people do believe it’s hard. Everyone is different
It gets better in time. You get treated a lot better at MCT, even better in the school house because you have a lot more freedom, and the fleet is awesome depending on what unit you go with. The fleet is what you make of it, get out of your comfort zone, make friends in different sections and explore your local area and just have fun. Next thing you know your contract is already up and whether you decide to stay or leave the Corps you will cherish every moment of that contract. I know I definitely did
These videos can’t prepare you for boot
Congrats man and thank you for your service
Welcome to the family! Yea being physically fit before you go into USMC boot camp is the best thing you can do the rest of it theres no way you can really prepare for except for learning how to shoot a rifle well before you go. Be careful what you post on social media now PFCs given out secrets is not taken lightly and social media is a big garbage fest these days. Good luck out there!
Thank you sir I appreciate it, just finished C-school and hit the fleet. ✊🏻
Congrats devil dog ! I’m gonna be hitting my year mark this coming May ! Keep up the good work !
Joshua Hadraki thanks brotha! I appreciate it! Wish you luck in your career 🙏
I’m headed to the Island on June 8th. Thanks for doing this video. The info you put in here will most certainly help through boot.
dakotah ritter good luck brother, glad to help ✊🏻
No matter how much anyone advises you and tells you what to expect from experience you will never know until you get there and experience it for yourself.I knew lots of Marines before I went in and a Gunny even gave me his knowledge book ( from the Vietnam era) when I was a senior in highschool so that I could learn my general orders.I ran ,I maxed my sit ups I worked on my pullups and when it came to crunch time in boot I was still inferior to the standards except for my guard orders. Its personal experience that counts! I graduated in November of 1979 from platoon 1077 Alpha Co. in Hollywood
Congrats! You are a warrior man!
Congratulations, Simeon. The RUclips Algorithm Gods have brought all of us together.
Jolly Apfelsaft the youtube algorithm went off on this video for some reason lol
Simeon Kurosky My guess is because people are curious about the bootcamp, so they stayed and watched this for longer (and this is a long video to begin with). But like God himself, RUclips algorithms work in mysterious ways.
Jolly Apfelsaft haha for sure! 😆
Loving your honesty!
Lmao I was at mct while corona was really kicking off and had no idea either. Shits wild in the bubble brother, Rah
My boyfriend left a week ago. I hope he comes back with a stronger mind than ever. Thank you for sharing your experience :)
Oddett Valadez mine leaves in august 😔
Oddett Valadez good luck to him! Make sure to write him a lot of letter 🙏
Just wait until you meet jodie
thank you so much for your service and this video really inspired me to become something great
will davies haven’t done anything really yet but thank u 🙏 glad the video helped!
I entered Bootcamp 16Jan64, MCRDSD Plt #308. I was a damn skinny kid of 151 pounds. Bootcamp was really physically tough for me. I wasn't sure I could make it but I did. I came out of BootCamp weighing 186 pounds. My Mother didn't recognize me. I didn't know it but my stepfather (an inactive Marine) told my Mom that I wouldn't make it. She told me that when I got home and I told my stepfather I was ready to kick his ass anytime. We actually became friends after that. Becoming a Marine was the best thing I have ever accomplished. Gung Ho!!
