The worst part is that Goku also had to undergo many of the same fears the Tuffles did with the Saiyans, seeing as the Saiyans killed all of Goku’s friends, and how Goku was powerless against a great ape Vegeta, the same as the tuffles were powerless against other Great Apes.
I don´t want a fight, I want a Fusion: Baby Vegetto Black would be so badass to see. (I chose Baby Vegetto Black and not Baby Gogeta Black due to the Shin nature of Black, it would made sense for him, to make a fusion using potalas rather the fusion dance) I can see a Dragon Ball Hero arcs where they use Baby Vegetto Black vs Xeno Vegetto and Capsule Corp Gogeta. We always see Xeno Vegetto and Capsule Corp Vegetto or Xeno Gogeta and Capsule Corp Gogeta but never Vegetto and Gogeta sharing screen time at the same time, it would be awesome to see.
I'm not a big GT fan but maan GT had some great ideas for villains with Shadow Dragon and Baby. I hope they get reworked along with Janemba into Super , similar to how Broly and Gogeta got canon. Going into Saiyan's past is a good way to add much needed depth in the story. I know depth and story aren't DBs strongest side but it still needed for the audience to care. Now that we have more relevant fighters maybe each fighter could get a fight with a Shadow Dragon so everyone gets a chance to shine , and for the last one who similarly to Omega Shenron absorbs the other dragon balls they have to work together ... maybe its wishful thinking and nostalgia speaking on my part
I like to believe that taking over Vegeta was his biggest mistake, the pride and ego leaked over to Baby´s being, it´s why he wanted to destroy Goku so bad, he was not interested in the power of the superior Saiyan at all.
Since you did a "SSJ4 Goku vs SSJ4 Baby Vegeta" what if theory, why not do a theory if Super 17, the fusion of two 17s were to fight a hypothetical SUPER 18, a fusion of two Android 18s....
I think there is something special about ssj4 like it turns Goku to an adult or reverses the effects of dbs or turns your body into its prime maybe like if your old maybe ssj4 will make u younger or changed in other ways too to keep body from taking over.
This topic completely blew over my head first time watching it but I've watched gt like 4 times now along with all of dragon ball and I had also wondered during my 2nd watch through why he didn't come back from hell I also figured he was alive but then I'm sure he would have done something more significant than sit around and give up
I believe Baby has a weakness when it comes to taking over someone else's body. If the victim's power suddenly increases during the process, Baby gets pushed out. For example, when Baby tried to take over Trunks' body, Trunks transformed into a Super Saiyan (SSJ), and Baby lost control. After that, Baby waited until his target had reached their maximum power before attempting to take over their body. In Goku's case, he always holds back in fights, not using his SSJ3 form until Baby Vegeta transformed into Super Baby Vegeta. Even if Baby wanted to take Goku's body, the sudden surge in power from an SSJ3 transformation would push him away, giving Goku the chance to destroy him. Baby did have an opportunity to take over Goku's body when he defeated him before Goku unlocked the Golden Great Ape form. However, Baby had already chosen Vegeta as his permanent host.
It seems that powering up Vegeta's base form locked Baby into Vegeta's body, making it difficult or impossible for him to switch bodies as easily as before. If that weren’t the case, Baby could have used the power-up technique while controlling Gohan or Goten, but he didn’t. This suggests that in order to enhance a host’s base power, Baby has to make that host his permanent body. Regarding the power comparison: at that time, Vegeta’s base form was stronger than Goku’s, but Vegeta did not have access to Super Saiyan 3. In their Super Saiyan 2 forms, Vegeta was stronger than Goku. However, Goku’s Super Saiyan 3 form was more powerful than Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 2.
Baby had two choices: Use Gohan and Goten to fight Vegeta and take his body. Use Gohan and Goten to fight Goku and take his body. To fight Gohan and Goten, both Goku and Vegeta would need to use Super Saiyan 2. However, Goku had the additional advantage of Super Saiyan 3 to prevent Baby from taking over his body. Goku’s child-like body may have also seemed unsuitable to Baby. Additionally, after making Vegeta's body his permanent host, Baby could enhance Vegeta's power to match Goku’s Super Saiyan 3 level without the energy drain disadvantage of the Super Saiyan 3 form. This is why Baby chose Vegeta’s body over Goku’s and never attempted to take over Goku again.
I think Goku base power was bigger than vegeta. However since Goku was transformed into a kid (his limbs are shorter changing everything and his body probably dont use energy the same way) and Baby was fused into vegeta, Vegeta became stronger than Goku. Also whit baby being fused into Vegeta he could not simply leave the body as easily as he did before, also if he did he would be vulnerable as easily killed. I dont think ss4 has magic to prevent possession, but since the mentality of goku ss4 and his power chances a bit it would probably be far harder to possess. As for baby dont appearing again the only explanation i see is his body being imediatly destroyed on the other world. I also find weird that neither dr gero nor dr myu tried to recreate cell or baby at all
I thought that but the end of Super 17 arc shows the villains close to the check in station so Baby would have already been checked in if he went there in the previous arc.
My favorite part is when Goku hits baby with an M12-LRV. It's such an emotional scene 😭 If Baby had hit SSJ4 in Vegetable's body, that could have been a much closer fight. But the catharsis of Full Power SSJ4 Goku pummeling Baby was needed after how close the fight was before that point.
I have to say this. Just have to. I'm a Vegeta fan like the rest...i like Goku as well, pleasssse don't be delusional and say Vegeta has more potential than Goku when there have been SOOOOO many instances where Goku has consistently surpassed Vegeta. If you have watched DB - DBZ you all would know this already without this even being explained. Goku has reached every other level before Vegeta. Goku studied martial arts under Grandpa Gohan and other teachers such as King Kai and then of course other feats. Goku reached MUI before Vegeta. Again, let me say i like Vegeta, but for someone to say Vegeta has "more" potential than Goku sounds like they don't know anything about this anime. Lol. A lot of us who are fans of Vegeta wanted to see him finally reach SS3, but not for it to look like that. I speak for some of us because there are some that actually like this new SS3 hair style. If the spiky longer/shorter hair style was a marketing strategy cool...that's just good business for separating his image from Goku so he has his own form, but never say Vegeta has more potential simply off a SS3 form he is just now reaching or showing.
I dont believe Vegeta has more potential but I do believe Vegeta has more power. Power vs potential are, of course, different things. Vegeta has shown countless times he has better control of ki and use of ki than Goku. Goku definitely has an edge on Vegeta in certain things just as Vegeta has edge over Goku in certain things.
Vegeta had already had controle ovver his aoe form he should have been able to go ssj4 even when he did they had it like he was loosing control i gues ccsuse of the power surge
I wonder if Full power ss4 Goku would’ve had a different look if Bulla shared her power too? It’s obvious that he’d be far more powerful with the energy of 5 hybrids than 4, but look at Goku after he absorbed their powers. It looked like he was going to evolve beyond ss4. Baby managed to evolve. More so because of his tuffle biology rather than Vegeta’s, but imagine if he gained the power of one more saiyan/hybrid saiyan. Would the extra Saiyan energy have given him power beyond ss4?
Obviously Goku would be dead. The only way Goku wins this if he goes through his ascension just like against Omega or uses the dragon fist. But the latter would result in a dead Vegeta.
Hold on. Is baby vegeta's final form before turning into golden ozaroo, was he a ssj2? So assuming that was ssj2 and he is far stronger than ssj3 goku, then that means if baby turned ssj4 he will be 3 steps above ssj4 goku. Since ssj2 baby feels like he was one step above ssj3. But when goku turned ssj4 goku felt one step above ssj2 baby. Or maybe not idk.
If GT had a sequel, Baby could return through dormant eggs he hatched inside people and yes I know the Ultra Divine Water or whatnot cleansed humanity from Babies paristosis but you can never know. Also it could be possible Baby had a backup clone made just in case something went wrong and this clone woke up many years later but IMHO it would be better if Kamin and Oren were canonized for hypothetical GT sequel as Babies offspring, they have a great potential as villain material. BTW if GT had a sequel the villains should be Shadow Dragons from other sets of Dragon Balls across the Universe too

How do you think Babe transforms after getting k.o.d and clearly losing power? He did not have the knowledge and even if he did, wouldn't stop the de-transformation as he doesn't have the will to keep Vegeta from losing power - Vegeta's body and conscience were weakened greatly from Goku's damage.
