Hey I've been shopping for a 2023 4Runner, mainly the Sr5 premium or TRD off road premium and every single dealership within a 75-100 mile radius won't give any sort of discount off on a 4Runner. MSRP only at some dealerships and others are above MSRP. Now considering interest rates are about 6% too is it a bad time to buy a 4Runner or would you think for the 2024 model year dealerships will loosen up and give 1500-2500 discounts on them ?
Being that 2024 is most likely the last year of the 5th gen 4runners along with all the UAW strikes going on, i dont think demands or interest rates are coming down anytime soon. Usually, interest rates go down as unemployment goes up so it motivates people to borrow money to stimulate the economy to create more jobs.
